Beautiful work Jynxz - very cinematic feel to these ears - can really imagine that drive through the city late at night. A real lovely space in the mix, and of course brilliant musicianship too : )
It's kinda funny how the feeling dawned on me after I wrote the track and listened to it and it brought back memories of
being in that downtown atmosphere listening to music that meant everything to me at the time. Plus being with Mark and the other band members we were like family (still are). Living life to it's fullest.
Thanks for giving our track a listen, comments and for the Fave. It's very encouraging.
Hey Buddy - nice groove here - I like that kind of minimalist industrial start and how it gets a little more funky as it goes along and love way you have 'orchestrated' (not literally) the transitions. Rich and exotic textures and instrumentation a head busting beat. Hope you have made a full recovery - I had a lingering cough for a month post covid ... ughh ... though good to make music when you dont feel like doing anything else hey : )
Thanks, Mate, starting to recover, my sense of taste and smell came back yesterday. Still feel awful though. 2weeks and the cough continues so I have that to look forwards to.
Another great track - so many intricate textures and beautiful melodic parts to this, the transitions are sublime, great flow, and lovely sound production too
Thank you for giving my track a listen
and for the fave with encouraging comments,
I missed you here on LM. I need to log in
and check out your latest.
A jazz rock cabaret on acid - wonderfully creative drawing on musical themes from the last 60 years and (of course) somewhat zappaesque but jynxzed up and sounding very sharp in the sound production - what's not to like
I guess the cats out the bag on my age now. LOL.
Actually I went a little farther back than 60yrs.LOL.
As always I appreciate you taking the time to stop by
and listen to my track, your encouraging comments and
especially the Fave.
Hey Cru - this has a little of that Dona Summer meets kraftwerk vibe happening again but with some really gorgeous flourishes. Love the sound production too
Kraftwerk and DS (Giorgio Moroder) is just the begining. they inspired so much more to come, like this tune I quickly made which sits in the 2000's in style.

Electronic music keeps on re-inventing itself, but we owe Kraftwerk and Giorgio a huge debt of gratitude.
Thanks mate!
Dark and brooding indeed - the effects on the vox are pretty interesting but it works so well, and the guitar sound is great as is the sound production overall - very nice work
Woo hoo - very very nice work - and yes very mellow velvet underground like but that's a very good thing to be like. Really nice mix too with the guitar and bass and drums all so well placed and doing just the right thing - for sure it would be even better with a nice vox.
If you are looking for inspiration for a vox that might fit have you ever listened to the silver jews (I loved there album american water) or there main man David Berman died a year or two ago but his last album was pretty good too or check out the microphones (Phil Elvrum) in particular the album the glow pt2 - looking forward to your next one
Paz y salud.
Very nice work - dark and powerful with real depth and texture to the sound and I love the way it builds - epic sound and cinematic in scope for sure : )
Thanks! I ditched the lead, shortened the song a little. Did a little fixing to the mix, got the horns louder, after listening they were a little buried.
I tried to sing more on this one rather than just bark out the vocals, like I will be doing on the next one, he.
Great stuff - a trip down electro grunge lane (although Im not sure it existed you built it!) Love all the changes esp those about 140 and 220 but this one to come back too for sure : )

I´m, not the first ehh?
2:20 ish is a cool transition for me with the fill and then I used an eighties noise gate effect on the drums to massively enhance the snare. 1:40 is just a moe breakdown from the intense drums. thanks mate
I had been hearing this Metal Guitar sample for a while.
It jumped out at me the first time I heard it, but I couldn't seem to come up with anything that it would work with. I think I accidentally played it with the Drum beat I'm using. From there the other parts just kinda fell in place.
I (always)appreciate your listen and encouraging comments and Fave 4sure.
Hey there - sounds pretty good to me! You have got lots of risers etc but it's only trial and error (at least if you are a novice like me) to find out if more or less is better. I guess trance is one form that can often be somewhat minimal - driven by the beat a few melodic hooks and well placed breaks and transitional trick - but you've nailed it in that regard I think : )
Nice work Johnnie - you are a little tighter with the vocal here and its very fine as is the lyric. The track is really nice too, wonderful orchestration, etc. A hit for sure : )
Nice work guys - what is about weed and a reggae beat both seem to go so well together. This is warm and uplifting, your voice sounds great and the arrangement is really nice
Masterful and a beautiful blend of some classic synth, pop, funk and jazz elements from the last 50 years that sounds fresh, original and yes pretty magical
ps stay off the mushrooms : )
Hi Ian, thank you for listening and for your kind words, as well as for the certainly well-intentioned warning. Yes, I'm careful, but mushroom dishes are one of my favorite foods...
Cheers,
