Great track Michael - beautiful arrangement, lovely playing, very sophisticated production, great vox ... I could go on for a very long time about this one : )
glorious cacophony of colliding sounds and very aptly titled - music for falling into a black hole - there is quite a bit of melody in there (strangely). a fairground organ merry go round sound that sounds like it could evolve into something - I like it!
Thanks. I listened to hundreds of files of raw data to make a decent sample folder. The amount of sonic information in a raw data file can be astonishing, from clips and pops to "whitish" noise with a million voices hidden inside (particularly when you resample down to about 4X the time duration and -2ish octaves or so.
Really Lovely song - very nice vocal performance, fantastic voice, delicate arrangement, and good sound (except that it is too loud and yes I also suspect clipping a bit). I dont want to tell you how to suck eggs as Im somewhat a novice myself but Id drop it into reaper (its free to trial) and check for clipping and get a measure of the lufs
Great track - it is wonderful vox but you have really nailed the accompaniment - great beats, especially great and varied bass lines but the keys (little pluck and vibes sounds) are lovely and the rhythm is lovely and bouncy. Superb production sound too. Excellent ... cant use enough superlatives : )
Many thanks, I appreciate your longer comment, I do enjoy reading them. I'm glad you like all the little elements I put in there. I tried to keep this one simple yet powerful. Cheers!
Thanks so much for the kind words, but there's one word in particular that you used - sophisticated - yeah, that's a new one for anything I've ever been involved with.
Hey there - nice work - builds nicely and does become very trance/ techno - ish. I can never figure out the sidechain stuff in my daw - so despite knowing how it works - I havent managed to get it happening so Im unsure if that might give more bounce and rhythm - but I do like beats and cross beats and the mix of synths and cross melodies. Well done : )
Nice work Michael - lovely pop ballad - the production sound is very nice (especially on the quieter parts - it really shines there). You have a real FM radio vibe thing going on with the last few tracks : )
Hey - nice sound on the pads and like the splashy snare - not as keen on the sound on trap triplets but hey there's always so much manipulation and experimentation to find the sound you are after - sounding pretty sophisticated : )
Hey Emmani - nice work - very delicate and clean ... maybe some room to bring in some glitching or some gently lofi sheen / dirt just to stretch it ... it is however 'quiet' lovely : )
Gorgeous work Emmani - there's a heavy breath running through this that would potentially be dark but the music is so gently melodic, light and ephemeral, it's very relaxing.
Thanks for listening. Yes, heavy breathing has many facets of tone. It brings a balance between light and dark associated with the other instruments. It makes more sense given the context of the story.
basically, the breathing is whatever you interpret :)
Killer bass, cool, dark and atmospheric use of backing vox, and other instrumentation, some nice percussion adding some more variety, interest and style
Thunderous - some cool sounds in there in that storm of sound and wow the pace is frenetic. Sound is highly compressed obviously but sometimes this means the track cant breathe too much - with this style that's not such an issue of course
Thanks for your comment! My mixing IS terrible anyway TAT
Sometimes I do think that I'd need a new computer when I go to the university. Since this old one always shut down during this track's exporting, I actually recorded this from my DAW and perhaps it leads to the bad mix.
Great track - moves along with wonderful energy and love the layers of sound - a rich and complex mix but staying really vibrant and uplifting (good message too)
Hey Cru - an oldie but a goldie - great stereo mix and to my ears this track just gets better as it goes along love esp. from around the 450 mark on ... but perhaps you had just lolled me into an alternate state by that point : )
Love the warm beat driving arpeggio synth playing and those others that creaking and swelling up as the track moves along and there is some subtle shifts with rhythm adding some interested. Nice ghostly reverb type effect on vox - very cool. : )
Nice warm production - subtle strings, gentle percussion, warm pulsing pads and slow smooth funk of bass and beat showcasing a nice vox - backing vox are nice too. Very FM radio friendly. Well done
wow - stella vocals and harmonies, brilliant drums and percussion, synth lead to die for (what a deft hand), everything else just perfect and fantastic sound production on a beautiful composition. Get down - super sophisticated club music.
Great Stuff
Hey Pseudoble, thanks for the flowers! It's funny at times - although this track sounds pretty simple, it was a lot of work and it was still done in a few days. But that was also because Robbie recorded his tracks super fast, even though he was totally overworked and exhausted from the job (thanks again, man). Sometimes everything comes together as if by magic and everything fits perfectly. But who am I telling this to?
Thank you for your nice comment, always appreciated!
Thanks!

Fantastic - really big sound with a lot happening but great definition to every instrument and superb sound production.
To top it all - its a killer composition too - brilliant work. Congratulations : )

Some fx in between some bars or Lofi glitching would really suit this track.

Nice work - I think zootman summed it up exactly - mellow, warm and melodic with nice ambient build up.
And this looks like your first post - so welcome to Looperman
