Hells Bells Mark - I loved it the first time - I have no idea what is different now - (though I cant remember the guitar sounding like that) but it's still an absolute sonic treat - equal parts intensity and musicality. Not one for falling asleep too.
Ian No problem if you need this one for a wake-up alarm LOL! Thanks, my friend, for swinging back through and your reaction. It does the heart well that you enjoyed yet another listen. Peace
I'm no good at words but I really felt this tune. An amazing tune my friend I could feel the energy.
Good vibes I felt like I was tripping without taking any drugs. Brilliant and thanks.
Greetings Darren. The feedback and compliments are appreciated. Thanks for taking the trip, my friend. It's good you found this listen, a great one. Peace.
This is super duper high-class jazz music indeed and hearing it again is like hearing it fresh off the press that sax is off the charts, love that transition at around 2:09 is SWEEEEETTTTT!!!! love everything about this, production sounds so crisp, you went to town on this Mesmerizing! listen for sure. Stay safe dear friend. Bravo!
Angelus! It's always just wonderful having you to grace the place with your presence. Then you hit me with "NO OBSTACLES". Your smoky vocals hugged that dope track like a REAL BOSS:)! An enjoyable listen with that bass hitting just right. The overall mix is spot on as the whole production threw me into my GROOVE ZONE. Thanks for the recheck listen here and very encouraging compliments, my friend. Stay safe and blessed.
Saturday night at Ronnie Scott's club. A reminiscent feeling of the 60s, beehives and Embassy Number 6. Very well composed and enjoyable. Plenty going on without it being chaotic. Nice one. Kay0s
Hey Oli. Thanks for stopping by for the listen. Ronnie Scott's? I've never been, but the recordings I've heard are over the top. The closest near me on Ronnie's level is a jazz club on the near north side of Chicago called the Jazz Bulls. The basement cave like acoustics there IS FIRE! I'm happy you enjoyed the listen. Peace.
Whats going on Mark, It was just plain old time to get a listen in, not knowing I would have to call 911 to report that I've suffered a blown head and ears gasket. LOL. Out of all tracks you have, I had to stop here and get a light weight guitar spanking. I've been in the studio recording some HOT riffs. Will hit you up for a verbal when I get done with these tracks. It's time brother. PEACE. T576 OUT.
T576! The Stop and check in is always good. So me like you...... BUSY in the studio! Guitar spanking? Just where do you think the inspiration comes from? That's U BRAH! You make every note count! When your comment on this one came through, I was just uploading an early draft of my new one. It's all about that POCKET! Check it out and let me know how it sounds. I'll be on stand by for what you release. I appreciate your comments on my track. Peace
Love it Mark. The moments of silence are a great punctuation for the busy moments. Lovely jam on that corner of funk and jazz where you like to hang out.
BaoBou! Hey there. It's good you stopped by and checked this one out. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on what you heard. I'll be through to check your latest project out. Peace.
I can always leave it to you to talk to my soul with your music. The lovely sounds work for a rainy day at home but at the same time makes me want to put on a jiving suit and go down to the disco dance hall. Wonderful as usual, adding to favs.
Modnex. Gratitude for the stop, listen, fave, and kind comments. Where I am the rain has been crazy. Yep just the right circumstances for the musical flow. I’m humbled this one resonates with you as I stated this was a total blast. It’s also good hearing from you. It’s been a minute. Be safe.
midiman007. Thanks for stopping by and the positive reaction. I wrote the midi for the drums, organ, and synths, and played them through the following VST's Superior Drummer 3, Air Music Technology's B3 Organ, and Oberheim's OB-X Pro synth. The rest I used .wav loops that I timed and tuned to fit the track. Peace.
another classy piece of work Mark, great Sunday morning listen great instrumentation and space as always, i like that continual cymbal ride bussing in the back ground, nice drums and the sax is stellar, i like the organ too, great production mate nice groove
Paul. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to get your day kicked off just right. Gratitude for sharing the elements popped. As you can tell I roll hard with the sax man and now the organ man lol. Have an awesome week and by all means.......Stay safe.
What a track, I absolutely love! that sax as you know one of my fav instruments but honestly all of the instruments in this little piece of jazzy heaven are definitely in their rightful place & just singing to me, such a zealous! and wonderfully crafted track. I particularly like the arrangement of the instruments through out also. This is one of the most grooviest, silky smooottthhhh! jazz ensembles ever & you certainly hit a home run!!! with this one my friend. A masterpiece indeed. Quality all the way, totally enjoyed every minute of listening time wow! NICEEE work here indeed! Bravo! OUTSTANDING!!! :)
Angelus:) Greetings. Wonderful always for when you grace the place with your presence. Thanks for the stop, listen, fave, and sharing your feelings on my latest jazz habits lol. Now the version you listened to is slightly different than the one posted now. I like the higher frequencies dynamics in the current one. For example, the cymbals, saxes etc. Enough of that shop talk! Your encouragement is always without fail.....OVER THE TOP MY FRIEND. We will catch each other on the flip! Stay blessed and be safe.
Ian! What’s really good? Thanks for the stop and fave. It’s good this listen was a good one for you. Now it’s back to work! Have a great weekend my friend.
You know, one of my most favorite 70's funk bands is RUFUS (the group that brought us Chaka Khan). They produced some amazing instrumentals on some of their albums, and this track definitely takes me back. You have a very keen sense of story telling through music, in my opinion. Your outtro here is brilliant. But, there is a "but" coming...LOL. You sort of lost me from 3:14 to around 3:47. That section seems (to my ear) out of place and a bit disconnected. I don't think it moves the "story" forward. Luckily, though, you brought me right back to the groove, and as I mentioned earlier, the outdo does not disappoint. Overall, how can I not say job well done? The track is a "Killer" in every good sense of the word!
Mykael. Thank you for stopping by. Rufus gave me goosebumps! Had the chance to see them live back in the day. I’m glad you liked what you heard. The section you mentioned is under construction and my next move will make it make sense. I appreciate your time for this listen and compliments. TTYL. Peace.

Description : Every instrument is performed and recorder live. Piano, double bass, drums.
Instruments Used:
-"WELTMEISTER" upright piano (MADE IN GERMANY in 1938)
-"KAY" upright bass (MADE IN GERMANY somwhere in 1950th)
-TAMA Imperial Star + Pearl OMAR HAKIM snare + Various Ziljian cymbals.
I just put together some old ideas to see if it will work. Some vocals and brass, or guitars is clearly needed. Let me know what you think about it. Tnx
Description : Do not freak out just because this is jazz! There's also blues, rock, funk and a little hip hop in it to break up the deep, chillout jazz sections - gets particularly rocking then funky at the end. Main bassline (the track's foundation) is recycled leftover slide resonator guitar parts detuned one octave to make a slide bass sound. Also features: piano, violin, hammered dulcimer, organ, ethereal pad guitar, bass guitar, jazz/blues/rock electric guitar and multiple programmed acoustic drumkits. This was difficult to make at times as I thought I needed more leads parts eg from sax or trumpet. But I'm happyish with the end result. I expect very little interest in this as it's both jazz and long jazz. But it's also an unusual type of genre-mixing jazz. So, leave your thoughts, good or bad, if you like...
Description : This is track me and my friend (great jazz, blues musician) done
around this great vocal we acquired.
Lot of hours in it.
I had great fun making it!
Hope you people like it.
Love and peace.
Description : I think it's a late evening song to accompany you for a single drink.
Jazzy in most of the aspects. It is made single handedly so please consider it an experimentation for the thrill of making music.
Hope you will like it.
Description : This track made me just stop working on it and listen to it for enjoyment.
Smooth Mellow funky Jazz. Uses: 0111003-djrumplestiltskin-swung-funk-drum-beat, 0087009-mrroads442-guitar-line, 0072485-michiel555-mellow-funk, 0058934-ferryterry-90-bpm-soprano-sax. Is this Funk or Jazz?
Description : This track contains only free loops from Stayonbeat.com and several loops from Looperman artists (listed below). I "made a promise" that my next track will be use a lot of jazzy loops - well, i done with this track, for the great sadness of jazz lovers or experts i think - i fear they will never forgive me. :) While my ISP launches my internet out of the Earth system for a long time, i had to face the fact that i dont have too much downloaded jazz loops on my computer, so i think no wonder that this one is sounds like if i smoke some marihuana while making it. But hey, who cares, i like the result - it reminds me the (maybe only) really funny episode of "Breaking Bad", where Pinkman uses some heroin and flyes up with an idiotic smile on his face - that chapter is priceless. :D
I dont think this one needs a vocal, but ofcourse you can use it if you want, and as always, just write and i will give any support as i can. Any feedback welcomed too as always. Enjoy! UPDATE 2015.10.24.: improved audio quality - lower lows, higher highs. Now in 256kbps!

Description : Something a bit different from us. I (Bobo) played guitar, synth, midi bass and percs to this piano loop by LM's most excellent Rasputin. Wataya, stoned as usual, thought he heard Barbara Streisand singing. This is the result.
Description : I created a hip hop groove in Logic and decided to duel some Saxophones. I am playing the Baritone sax on the left pan and the Tenor Sax on the right pan.
I added some bells like a boxing match bell to give it a fight drama feel. The hip hop track itself is dope to me. The duel is cool too. Who won?
I am a fun.
My best wishes, Anthony.
