on I Like to Bernie by KaierasSkaix
This is really nice man! you made if from loops right? Pretty solid mix. The only thing i thought could of been fleshed out more was the bassdrum, other than that, everything else hits pretty hard and in your face. great job!

Many thanks Neo! It's all thanks to the loopermen. All the loops I used are listed in the description, so that must be 11 or 12 in total. Special thanks to planetjazzbass for the 'bugs' sounds.

on One Love BeyondEvolution collab by thephilosofist
This was one of my favorites on your mixtape man. really dig the beat as well. And hey don't worry about "making it big" so much and gaining access to a corrupt music industry. Me and my boys used to be driven on that, but (at least for me) it can hurt your creativity sometimes when your making music for the wrong reasons like for money and fame. I make music just because i love to. point blank. half the time i don't care about the money. But as long as i can create and share it with people I see the most, that ends up being the most satisfying. So do you man, don't worry about the critics and haters and welcome back to the loop once again!

ha man no worries, it's all good

on Panjab With Me ft Cwarren by DextDee
This is really nice man. great mix and blend. what would be more interesting to see blended to hip hop instead of just an "eastern" mix, would be making a gamelan hip hop type of track. i've yet to see anyone do that, and if anyone has, i'm missing out. :P although i've heard fusion of gamelan with rock and various other genres thanks to a class of mines. anyways, nice track regardless dext the mod! lol even though i don't see you mod that much, at least in the forums. (must be ensam and ELSD speciality) regards

Neobane
DextDee
DextDee replied Unknown
actually i have already done that but i am not uploading it yet till some time later. doing some more work on it. to me this is a blend of 3 genres, eastern, game-land, and hip hop itself.
about MOD, i prefer to mod in a different way. :)

on Somewhere else by ALXSIX
Very ambient ALX. you do the cinematic genre justice. i haven't made a good new cinematic piece in a minute, i been on my hip hop phase. :P haha i like the ringing arp bell throughout and the soundscape is beautiful and mysterious at the same time...it feels like a place you would know..and yet, it is unknown to you..very nice man. faved

on Rebellion ( No rules ) ( Instrumental ) by JamesDavies
Woah man, alotta problems on this. first off it's all off beat. the drumline sounds like it's glitched or something. and sounds like you added a bit much compression on the track, alot of frequencies are being cut out. and theres no yearn to even want to rap on this. it's too off beat. sorry man, not feeling it. nice attempt for what it's worth, maybe make it another genre, because it has a sort of glitch template to it. peace

on Element by LeftArmy
You must be going for a hiphop/cinematic soundtrack in a movie/game or something, because i feel like rapping on alot of your tracks lol however it does have a nice touch of cinematic presence to it. under the right circumstances and representing the right imagery it could go well in the back ground of some video, whether it be a hip hop video or movie trailer. anyways, this is really nice though leftarmy. the piano and strings flow great, so does the minor choir. i would like to hear that choir a little more though. the mix is very nice, i think it could use a little more reverb though. but thats just me, good job man

on Reaching For The Sky by lerome
Very nice intro, it gave me chills. however, at about the 30 second mark the strings that came in where a little harsh. most of the levels could be mixed a little better, and you should cut a little off the top from the main mix. it starts to peak a little and hurts the ears just a bit, most likely you'll have to do some cutting on most of the strings and maybe the violin. otherwise, the arrangement is very nice, and i like the suttle stuttering in the cello from time to time. pretty solid. peace

on Airborne by StephenPotter
Really nice stephen. your mixing skills are really top notch for someone so young. you got alot of potential. wish i was that good at your age lol all i did was make tracks from nothing but loops. and amongst other things that distracted from me from getting any better at it. anyways this a great track man, remember just be yourself, dont worry about what other people say, they dont have the right to judge. well done.

and what do you compose with by the way, if i havent asked already

Neobane
StephenPotter
StephenPotter replied Unknown
This song doesn't really compliment my mixing skills too much though, it clips a fair amount, and I will worry about what others say so I can improve.

I'm using FL9 and a lot of VST plugins, and I've been using it for about two years now.

Thanks for the review!
