Good to see you around Patricia, superb vocals as always! Hope everything is going well. A pleasant switch up from the usual. Excellent guitar and instrumentation. Baggadub was spot on with the playing. Catch ya later, peace
Aw yea, Shatner your track was pretty dope man! And the instrumental is spot on, dope work MAIC. It's got a samurai champloo vibe to it. Dig it. Faved for sure, peace
NICE, i really dig the vibe on this one as well. The synths work and intermingle efficiently. I would of like to hear a little delay or reverb on some of the instruments, like the later synth. But everything else sits in place very well. Great work. peace
I really don't why i took a break from this site. I've been missing on some really great talent. I agree with the others, this and that feel the rhythm track is real retro sounding. Which is a skillful switch up from some of the usual catalog. Grooving track, everything in this one feels on time and in the zone. Excellent arrangement. Love it, could of been on the SSX 3 soundtrack. Please tell me you've played that game. I just see that your from canada so I had to be sure. Again, excellent work. peace
Ha, I love me some video games but I never played SSX 3. EA sports is located just minutes from where I live too :]
Thx for the positive feedback man. I can take credit for the arrangement and production but full cred has to go to MrRobot for creating those awesome loops. I thought the main synth sounded retro but was afraid I might lose that feel in the production. Glad to hear it has that retro sound I was hoping for.
So, automatically I dig the reason for this being. I've actually had two friends of mine who died not to far apart actually. Both of them from drug overdose, so this track kind of relates with me. Whoever your friend is, I hope you can really help them. Anyways, the track is pretty mellow and vibe heavy. Excellent track here Charlene, I would be happy to accept this as another entry if you wanted. Since the sounds are all loops. Just a suggestion, peace
Hellooo, firstly I am glad you dig this because you can relate to it in some way, and I am very sorry for the loss of your friends. Secondly, it's not very complex loop wise obviously but sure, you can add it as another entry, that would be great. Thank you very much!
-Charlene
I hope you don't mind the multiple comments but wow really a man huh? That's crazy tweaking with the vocals then, I can hardly tell. The bass wasn't much of an issue with me, and trust me I'm BIG on bass.
But i understand what peril was trying to say in his critique, the rest of the track would definitely flesh out more with an edit to the bass. I didn't think this was even possible for the longest time a year or two ago. (Used to suck at mixing bass)
And a girl told me women were going to take over the world once. So are you planning world domination too or just a takeover of music V Solana style?
No, music is just a little tiny part of it - it's world domination we are after (yes a multiple "we", there are of course a huge amount of women just waiting for the right moment to make the move.)
(Funny they haven't contact me at all yet, though? But that's a minor issue. The Day Will Come.)
(Yes I'm sure.)
So, yeah it's a man singing.
Infact, this is a part of the world domination plan, all men are turning in to women.
I'm making it happen as we speak. We are starting with altering your voices.
Talking jazz from deep space? ha that title alone almost seems as if it was inspired from a fantastic anime called Cowboy Bebop. Which is also has a SUPERB soundtrack to it. If you like jazz, i think you will absolutely love the soundtrack to that show. Deep chill lyrics too, like the fx thrown into the mix. Groovy production. peace
across the spectrum of thought, the learn is in must form that of how awesome you are and as speaks the those words of acknowledgement, into the realms of my imagination quadrant, flashes the alert of necessity to also speak of the great review given and the excellent referral as well as superlative comparison of art forms as now eye have something to look into and am elated that of the eye spot of a fellow anime admirer ....as now with each listen there is a serious wish to have someone to link up with and construct a video done in an anime styled art ...you are indeed awesome many thanx for the coolness in review..... much peace friend!!!!!
Nice synths and vocals. I agree with SJ though on some things. There needs to be a bit more punch in the drums and kick. It's not fleshed out enough, the flute however sounds fine to me when it came in. This has more of a dance like vibe going on rather than dnb. Mainly because there isn't a roll to it, not much at least. Just a bit of honest critique, I never sugar coat my words if i hear something I think could be better. Come back to this one over time, great track. peace
I followed your suggestions and the kicks and drums are a lot stronger now.
I tend to underpower my drums and kicks on my tracks, which is a bad habit of mine. I replaced the original kick with a more agressive one this time and turned up the knob on the side-chaining -- has much more powerful punch now.
Yeah, this probably is more Dance than Drum and Base, or something in between.
Love that show actually, haven't watched it in a while though. I'm into alot of paranormal stuff too so that's why I like that show. Dope works here man, like the drums. peace
Well I must the last one to find out these vocals are you. It works alot better in this track, I was hearing different types of vocals in my head on your liberate track. Druggy and trippy production bro. Skilled one. peace
Hey thanks buddy for the great feedback! Means a lot to me. This track was pretty important to me at the time, and I still can't help but listen to it when I get real drunk. Druggy and trippy is a good compliment. Thanks very much!
Mystical track here..music to the ears. Hypnotic sounds, I feel as if a zen like presence surrounds me. An aura of sounds that echoes through the centuries. Very good ambient track. peace
Very dark deep bass. Love dark stuff, these sound excellent in my headphones. I've been getting back to my dark roots myself. But this is very detailed and precise glitch. Must of took a great deal to edit and chop this up good. Idk if your into ghosts or anything or paranormal stuff but perhaps this thread would interest you
Mainly for the video i posted on there, has some real/fictional content. (Check it out if you wish) It's very convincing though, but anyways very clean glitched up track. The specters, ghouls, and ghosts are moving to the rhythm now..excellent dark atmosphere, sounds like there is no escape.
Sounds like the internet has been swallowed into darkness and intricately possessed. Good to have you back, I've seen you around a bit. I've downloaded one of your tracks before a while back. Welcome back to the loop. peace
Really like the whole way the track carries itself bar to bar. It has an excellent sense of pace, and the sound choice is great. Spot on with this one bro. It's got a real mysterious air to it. Sick. peace
Oh, nevermind i see the vocals are from DJghostsweden..but I don't see any acapella's on the only ghostsweden's profile on this site. Just googled the name too.
I'll tell you what to use it for, to put things to sleep. Like a baby for instance, think of all the mother's and father's you'd be helping. This is about more than a simple piano and harp lullaby, this is about childcare. Your contributions will astronomically help the peaceful slumbers of babies all across the world. You will be known far and wide as the "Lullaby Man." Praises one can look forward to. The track was great though man, nice one. Seriously, peace
Reminds me a bit of Flying Lotus. Sickkk, makes me wanna hop back in my hip hop bag. Gotta do me some new works, this one knocks though bro. Fused with a little glitch and ambient. Impressive. Catch ya later. peace
I like the vibe of this one, there is lot of intricate instants that make momentary filler become one with the track. Blending is sharp. Accurate and skillful. I Digs this. Great production. peace
Yeah this is great work for your first track. I can hardly remember my first track, I did it when I was in 8th grade for a class project on Garageband. Wish i saved it. Oh well though can't change the past. good beginning. peace
