on TALKING JAZZ FROM DEEP SPACE by FACELESSIWONDER
Talking jazz from deep space? ha that title alone almost seems as if it was inspired from a fantastic anime called Cowboy Bebop. Which is also has a SUPERB soundtrack to it. If you like jazz, i think you will absolutely love the soundtrack to that show. Deep chill lyrics too, like the fx thrown into the mix. Groovy production. peace

across the spectrum of thought, the learn is in must form that of how awesome you are and as speaks the those words of acknowledgement, into the realms of my imagination quadrant, flashes the alert of necessity to also speak of the great review given and the excellent referral as well as superlative comparison of art forms as now eye have something to look into and am elated that of the eye spot of a fellow anime admirer ....as now with each listen there is a serious wish to have someone to link up with and construct a video done in an anime styled art ...you are indeed awesome many thanx for the coolness in review..... much peace friend!!!!!

on Miss You - Reworked by steve010101
Nice synths and vocals. I agree with SJ though on some things. There needs to be a bit more punch in the drums and kick. It's not fleshed out enough, the flute however sounds fine to me when it came in. This has more of a dance like vibe going on rather than dnb. Mainly because there isn't a roll to it, not much at least. Just a bit of honest critique, I never sugar coat my words if i hear something I think could be better. Come back to this one over time, great track. peace

I followed your suggestions and the kicks and drums are a lot stronger now.

I tend to underpower my drums and kicks on my tracks, which is a bad habit of mine. I replaced the original kick with a more agressive one this time and turned up the knob on the side-chaining -- has much more powerful punch now.

Yeah, this probably is more Dance than Drum and Base, or something in between.

Thanks for the suggestions/comment.

Kind regards,

Steve

on Ghost Movement by Phyruis
Very dark deep bass. Love dark stuff, these sound excellent in my headphones. I've been getting back to my dark roots myself. But this is very detailed and precise glitch. Must of took a great deal to edit and chop this up good. Idk if your into ghosts or anything or paranormal stuff but perhaps this thread would interest you

https://www.looperman.com/forum/thread/181879/the-midnight-game

Mainly for the video i posted on there, has some real/fictional content. (Check it out if you wish) It's very convincing though, but anyways very clean glitched up track. The specters, ghouls, and ghosts are moving to the rhythm now..excellent dark atmosphere, sounds like there is no escape.

Sounds like the internet has been swallowed into darkness and intricately possessed. Good to have you back, I've seen you around a bit. I've downloaded one of your tracks before a while back. Welcome back to the loop. peace

on Sleepy by Twur
I'll tell you what to use it for, to put things to sleep. Like a baby for instance, think of all the mother's and father's you'd be helping. This is about more than a simple piano and harp lullaby, this is about childcare. Your contributions will astronomically help the peaceful slumbers of babies all across the world. You will be known far and wide as the "Lullaby Man." Praises one can look forward to. The track was great though man, nice one. Seriously, peace

on Welcome To The New Age by SeriouslyJoking
Great track here, keen usage of looperman loops. Probably like this better than your other track. Vocals by you? Ethereal. This song isn't really weird, more electronic and dance. So women are taking over huh? hmph, I like the sound of it. Can you ladies take it the next level though? ;) I'll be honest with you, I've usually known this right away. You might win my challenge, I actually love how this is pieced together. I have a thing for dreamy female vocals too, I'm HIT. Right in the feels. Faved and downloaded. Peace

Gramo/Neo
SeriouslyJoking
SeriouslyJoking replied 26th Jun 2014 - 12 years ago
So I might win but now that you know it's not me singing I might not anyway?
=D

Well, that's the closest I've ever been to winning in a music competition of any kind so I'm content with that too - to almost maybe win.

Really nice to hear that you liked this, I think this could be my new favourite song of all the songs I made so far(I kind of hate a lot of them too). But that bass issue needs to be fixed and there is some mixing issues and I haven't really mastered this at all (because that's the most boring part and I don't really know how to do it anyway).
Yada yada...

Oh about the vocal - It's actually a man singing, I just pitched it and altered the tempo and some other things.
So much for the ethereal, dreamy female singing here but that's what I had for the moment so I altered it to sound the way I wanted it to sound and it turned out pretty good, right!

I was thinking about us women taking over in V. Solanas style but just because you're being this manageable I think we are going to do it in a more friendly way. The next level is coming any day now.
Bare with.

on AZZYKO - GAME OVER by AZZYKO
Dope stuff. Definitely sounds Skrillex inspired, he's a bit nastier with his drops. But your real close on his tail, I've heard much harder jobs from other artists though. Skrillex is more brostep than dubstep, not enough focus on the bass sometimes with him. His productions are ##### sick though, thanks for sharing. Catch you around peace

AZZYKO
AZZYKO replied 27th Jun 2014 - 12 years ago
Thanks Gramo! I never expect to be close to Skrillex, but with listening and remaking his songs I learned a lot of producing tricks. He has a lot of hard drops, but "Hey ##### lady" and "First of the year" are definetely the best. Anyway, thanks for leaving feedback, I really appreciate this!

CHILL STUFF. Really digging the vibe of this one, definitely liquid. Haven't heard much liquid dubstep on here much, a natural combination. Anything chill or liquid is always something vibe heavy though. Futuristic production, love the sounds. peace
