i relate to your phrasing - there is a bit of "odd-meter" to it. 3 bar or 5 bar phrases instead of 2s and 4s. i go further sometimes - 7/8 5/8, etc. which makes me impossible to collab with usually! LOL. very image rich music. very moody, full of a tension, or suspense. really congrats on this work. it is compelling as hell. and simple in a brilliant way - the best stuff is always so simple! big congrats again on this one.

for me it was an invitation to daydream, to allow my mind to wander. i was aware of the gentleness of the melodies, the attention to placement of sounds in the field, the use of acoustical versus electronic. a beautiful concept beautifully executed. all the best.

I think u have a winner here. You have so much imagination with the vocal editing and a great technique to execute. I think in ur final mix u should bring the vocal work way up front. We hate to sacrifice the other beautiful sounds but of course you bring them back up in non-vocal sections. I think u will maximize the audience emotional connection to the track this way. Good luck. beautiful sounds and lots of them. to my ear, a fantastic job of mixing/mastering. I liked the entrance of the vocalise and how she comes in again at the end. you move from color field to color field so seamlessly and the composition is so well unified. hats off to you! cheers. Dan

i like the energy of your track a lot. it is a very nice groove and I never get tired of it. plus you elaborate on it now and then with a little extra line or color. this is one of those pieces where all the attention to detail can be easily taken for granted because it all fits together so perfectly. but i suspect you put a lot of effort into this and it shows. beautiful work. thoroughly enjoyed. cheers!

where is my soul! holy cow! wild active beat. lots of attention to detail here. a lot of work in this and sounds fantastic. real techno age chaos! i think there is room to "effect" the voice more (like you start to in the final part) - strange it out! great track! thoroughly enjoy.

it is a hot mix of percussion and you get all of the sounds coming through clearly in their proper place. no easy task. it is a subtle energy that you achieve - but there is great energy for sure. great start! don't let it go! all the best.

fantastic use of the white noise (is that it?) you create great builds. lots of intensity. it is super effective coming off of those builds, like around 3:15, and chilling with that bass. same when you go back to those plucked interludes (like pizzicato strings except synths). super well done mix. I hear it continuing . . .

the chorus voice sounds really cool. was wonderin what effect you used to mix that. very beautiful mix - transparent - the drumwork is subtle. i like when the tuned drums comes in. that is a nice touch. great work!

has an 'island' feel to it. the low tom-tom work is really nice. gives it also that carribean or african feel. seems you like organ. that is fresh. not used so much it seems. very enjoyable, relaxing. should be sittin chilling at a tropical bar with this. nice work/concept.

you have a good handle on the strings. you use a glissando effect? you might find a way to expand harmonically? i hear b minor and maybe you could find a way to outline D major. because i hear a happy, carefree lyric here! and the major chord should support that. good luck with it. nice start. i am also an FL user - quite the novice still. peace.

interesting effect on the piano at the beginning. leads well into the synth groove that follows. i guess it is some sort of stutter effect you use? it is very interesting. sounds neat. would you share your secret?! nice work Bathers! peace.

string hits are very effective - sounds like there is something blended into that sound besides strings - not sure but great sound. nice drum groove. you create and sustain and dark mood, but some sense of action - a cinematic feel. as with the other track I listened to, you introduce new sounds even as the track is repetitive and it holds my interest well. great track. really enjoyed it!

beautiful singing! i like the long intro before it drops for the first time. it's great to take the time and pace things well - which you do! 'white noise in the dark' great line. the plucked since is just right - you create a lot of intensity with it. liking the piano at the end -it takes things down just right. big congrats on your work here! best regards.

the strings sound great and they work great against the electro sounds. i like how you patiently build this one. big sign of an artist in my book - that patient development - evolution of the work. that constant bass groove creates a subtle intensity but never gets boring. hooray also for cowbells. totally enjoyed! peace.

very spiritual opening, beautiful setting. it is so rich when the vocal comes in. hear a little clipping from the kick - sometimes that creates a good edge - some subtle intensity. not sure it helps here. its a beautiful, introspective mood that you set and sustain. i like the contrast of the chorus section (sustained voice). the song is hypnotizing. great work. look forward to hearing more.

you interest sonic elements like well-considered dabs of paint on a canvas. you take your time developing this interesting audioscape. you create and sustain an introspective, dark mood and now that crazy high synth is adding "insane" to the mix. super interesting work! big congrats and good luck with further development of the project. sandwiching the whole thing with MLKing and Bobby Kennedy gave me shivers. again -well done.

i don't know the original but I'm digging this version for sure. what a beautiful mix and reminiscent of those old-century styles! so much personality, great delivery in the vocal. very spooky, effective! "i know that in the morning i will wake up in the shivering cold!" brrr!! this track just sounds awesome. big congrats to all involved.
