I used AcidPro's awesome arabic darbuka and arabic drum loops,Jen`s Muse`s indian tihai for sitar (that thing sounds sublime)and some simple pads and a wobble I made out of a synth
not really drum and bass but it fits the tempo.

Description : Before I start, I'd just like to thank all of the wonderful community members who help me beat my creative block with their advice on my other track. Not only was I able to beat it, but I was also able to gain a little more creative ideas. This will be the first track with a background story. This track takes place in Las Vegas Nevada. A man name John, is an ex drug addict and finds himself playing the slots. When he comes across this blue synthetic drug, just sitting in between two of the slot machines. Not being able to resist, he opens the bag and takes a huge hit. John's body instantly reacts to the drug, causing him to go into full on high mode. John starts kicking the machine he is at, throwing chairs at the machine causing sparks to erupt, evidently finding himself practically burning the casino down. John continues his "high" on the Las Vegas strip. Doing everything from knocking old women down to flashing at the police. Eventually causing John to get surrounded by cops, almost exactly when he starts coming out of his high. As the cops has John surrounded with his hands in the sky, John realizes he has some more drugs left, hanging out of his sleeve, he quickly sniffs the entire packet, causing time to slow down for John. John kicks the garbage on the right of him, hitting on of the three cops right the face. The other two cops then shoots at John, John has an instant reflex action and dodges both of the cops bullets. Before, taking them both down and finally doing some awesome parkour, on his way to his hotel room, to dodge other police. John eventually makes it home, sits on his couch smokes a joint and calls it a night.
Description : This is my first attempt at incorporating DnB with my vocals. This track was inspired by the very first loop I found on this site... also the first sound in this track ;)

I really liked the minimalist soulful sound and vibe to this. I'm no dnb expert but this sounded different in a good way. Enjoyed the melancholy floaty background synths and will placed accents.

Pretty good track - might be some room to mess it up a little (some spots of glitching or distortion or some subtle backing harmonising back vocal) and that add more interest but I quite like it as it is - for sure you cant please everyone and it's interesting what different people hear and suggest - keep em coming I say : )

Wow, DnB and Rap? I might be living under a rock but haven't heard this before. Sounds fresh and obviously different to me. Production quality is tops. Drums are loud enough for the genre and they are clear, not muddy, and punchy. The mixing is very good and the composition is just like any DnB track I've ever heard. One thing I would suggest it to make it a bit dirtier, like a bit of rough distortion or something, but that's icing on the cake. Good job.
Nice dnb dub now that could of been tricky, my mates a dnb producer so I like this my mates hard not my fav but now doing a bit more liquid but this is old skool bro sounded good in my jbls this is the soft I like you know what this genre is about maybe you could do something similar with some liquid at the intro and beginning 5.20 in length would be nice bro, take no fooking notice dub do what you want :) it's good

Dubjoka, long time no see...I have to say you are the Drum&Bass Master according to this splendid! track it ticks all the box' the track, lyrics & vocals this is one of the best drum & bass tracks I have heard here in a long while. You always bring something refreshing! and man did I enjoy this. Elevating minds & touching souls not everyone has that power this is deep & powerful. As far as I'm concerned you killed it! Salute! Maestro good to see you posting gems again.
Hey dubjoka , i never listen to oskrthagreat but you put his vocals into a more energetic oldskool dnb. I think it fits his track very well. this is some fire and i can shake my banana. Im a huge fan of raw dnb and you made a chilled vibe out of this. love to hear more from you. greetings and i send you positive energy from a honest banana.
I used to give honest feedback, so there are many thing to fix here:
-Drums are too loud (but maybe is the dnb purpose) and almost bury all the sounds.
-The bassline needs more power (i hear it on start and finish, not in the middle)
-Treat the vocals: add 4:1 ratio compression, then kill the bass a bit and increase the mid just a bit too.
In any case: no variations, repeating the same lines (and the mono-tonal vocals too) is really boring.
