27 years? Man u been in the game for a long time. I knew your were old but.... that's almost as old as me lol. Nice tune. I like that synth that comes in about half way through. Actually, for that matter, all the synth work sounds great. Hope you are well and good, Zoot.

This is deep and dark, love it mate, even though I'm not generally a metalhead (though my 13 yr old son has discovered Metallica so I'm getting a lot of that at the moment - but it's good). There was a wind blowing through my head when that section started at 3.26, that was awesome. I'm sure I've heard the name Alan Watts, but don't really know what he was about. I did see this quote though which resonated - "The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance. To have faith is to trust yourself to the water. When you swim you don't grab hold of the water, because if you do you will sink and drown". There's a similar Herman Hesse quote like that too (maybe from Steppenwolf), which I always remembered. Most men will not swim before they are able to. Is that not witty? Naturally, they won't swim! They are born for the solid earth, not for the water. And naturally they wont think. They are made for life, not for thought. Yes, and he who thinks, whats more, he who makes thought his business, he may go far in it, but he has bartered the solid earth for the water all the same, and one day he will drown.

Hi Paul. Second listen for me. It's a good combination, your voice and lyrics to this music. I've been listening to you for a long time as your know. If there's one thing I'd say, specially on these indie type tracks, is that your should pay some more attention to your melodies. That would be the icing on the cake. Cheers Chris

I really like this. I always love hearing acoustic numbers and your harmonies and melodies are excellent. Very well recorded too, crisp and clear.

Drifting along nicely to this. I like that it is improv too, I think that adds something special to the feel.

Your musicianship, vocals and songwriting and production are excellent. The overtly Christian lyrics tentd to put me off, for probably too many and complex reasons to go into here. Just being honest. I'll keep listening though! By the way, the lyrics about the stone the builder the refused becoming the head cornerstone Bob Marley used in one of my fav songs of his Ride Natty Ride. Full of prophecy that song....

Beautiful. I just sat back and let this wash over me. Agree with others that some sort of minimal vocals would sit nicely on this. Well done.

Nice one. Vox go well with the music. I could imagine Tom Waits getting down on this but would need a few more pots and pans to bang. Quirky ending too.

This sounds great mate. Beautifully recorded too. I'd be very tempted to add my dulcet tones (lol) if I could find some time. Hopefully someone jumps on it. Man it's nice to hear more guitars here lately, especially accoustics like this. Nice one!

Sounds awesome, and dunno about the genre! Mix sounds amazing. Fx on the guitar sounds great, I don't remember Hendrix doing that.

This sounds just as good or better even on another couple of listens. I really like your work here, being bit of a fan of 'world' music and desert blues like Ali Farka Toure. By the way, I took your advice and fixed up the mix on One Life. Reduced the level on the cymbal track a touch as well as tweaking the brightener plug in on the overall drum bus. Sound much better now, you can hear the clean delay guitar fx much better. Cheers Chris

Happy times! Lovely man. I've been enjoying your guitar work lately. That Jorado track your sent me is awesome. I haven't come up with anything to add in terms of vox but I love it. This one too of course. A little different from you but it still has that dense layered rhythmic quality your often bring.

Man this is cool. Great colab. It's got a fantastic urgency to it. Like the saturation they put on your vox. And our German friends sound fantastic, they just jump out of the speakers.

Pretty wild man, love your vox as always. I'd call this more fusion than weird, there's even a dub influence in there to me, and electronica of course. Which reminds me, here's a dub thing I did a while back. Maybe it might take your fancy to do something with. Could easily tweak it. I'll let you know if I come up with anything else I think might work.
