Hi Anthony, Your lyrics are truly beautiful. There are so many people who quietly radiate a mysterious kind of magicsurrounded by an aura that captivates us in ways we hardly notice. And when that presence is paired with love that is honest and doesnt disappoint, it can be something truly special.
Your vocal performance is full of feeling and expressive nuance, and now I know what your voice sounds like toosmile. You present the lyrics with a lightness and storytelling charm that makes them compelling from start to finish. The music is also wonderfully arranged, and the effects youve chosen are used with great careenhancing the piece without ever overshadowing your narrative.
I thoroughly enjoyed spending these lovely 4 minutes and 10 seconds with you.
So, right now I am listening to the song once more, and I like it more..magia !!
It is so good to know you liked it Manuela, I trust your words and I surely understand you are very gentle with our efforts. The way I presented the lyrics is narrative because the lyrics have to do with all that magic that we all live with "amore". It is like a fairytale, which I tried to tell. Of course I suppose I don't have any other way...I am totally inexperienced in this. Yet, I will try again (actually I have started already) a more melodic song in English , called "Summer in your eyes". I, by all means, know I cannot actually sing, but for now this my way to show outwards my ideas.
I see music as a gift and the way it is done, with all that technology which by now is in our hands and ears, is extremely fascinating. I use lots of technological achievements in other fields of my life, so I am really used to it. Being able to express feelings with these means is great.
I too, thoroughly enjoyed reading your thoughts and of course writing down my thoughts, as if we had a real conversation.
Warm regards, Anthony
Kay is absolutely right when she says we love your song because we really do! Both Angelica and I are deeply touched by it.
Hello Fani, thank you so much for the loving musical interpretation of the song, which has always meant a lot to me, especially the lyrics. It was inspired by a deeply emotional interview with a desperate prostitute.
You created a captivating and wonderfully varied arc from beginning to end. The instrumentation was well thought out and perfectly coordinated brilliant work! Who knows maybe we would have come with the big band if you had invited us. *smile*
Hello Manuela !! I had imagined that something very emotionally intense was behind the lyrics , now I am sure.... I am so glad you and Angelica like this work ! I wasn't sure what style the music should have but, the relatively high tempo you had set led me in that direction. ( I have just uploaded the track again because, I noticed a slight phase difference between the music and the vocals in the chorus. Now it's okay...) Next year sisters , when I win the euro-lottery we'll give this demo to the best professionals and it'll be released all over the world..... hahahahaha This is the video link : https://youtu.be/K4Kt6_D720w Hope you like it. Many thanks for sharing your wonderful vocals here in LM ! Cheerssssssssssssssssssssssss !!! F.
Thank you so much for mentioning our university by name! If you're considering applying for a professorship, wed welcome you with open armsand maybe even a kiss on the hand! *smile* Stay healthy and fabulous!
Hi Mark,
What can I say? An absolutely magnificent performance in mastering and arranging the instruments all staged with so many unexpected twists, yet always keeping the thread intact. The sound is strong and clear, truly first-class in both mixing and mastering.
I believe youre one of the rare few who can make such perfect use of the sound stage. Each instrument is placed with ideal spatial awareness, complementing one another without any clashes. And theres still plenty of room left, allowing the stereo effects to shine through beautifully. Just amazing!
Warm regards, Manuela
Professor Manuela! Thank you for the stop and in-depth evaluation of my track. Now let's dialogue about the fave you gave. In my head, I consider myself to be only a student In your college "The Institute of The Gold Standard and Music Production". Now maybe this track is a thesis of sorts that you stamped with a very high mark. AND THAT IS EXTREMLY ENCOURAGING. Now I'm even more determined to push for better. Have an excellent rest of your week and stay safe.
@licykenny
I really find it hard to understand how someone whos never uploaded anything to Looperman, but has downloaded over 3,000 vocals, can accuse the very people who keep the platform alive with their contributions of being disrespectful. For ten years now, you've benefited from the creative work of others here, yet offer no contributions of your own. Without the uploads in the acapella section, it seems you wouldn't be able to produce much at all.
Just take a moment to think about that.
Best wishes,
Manuela
don't give him the time Manuela, these are the people that hide behind an avatar, he is a typical shithouse hater that has no talent of his own and he probably gets his rocks off dissin' others while he's thrashing his sad carrott in his moms backroom, he's just here to take, he is a freeloader his comments are worthless
Hi Mom, no matter what genre it is, it's beautiful and you've interpreted it vocally in an outstanding way. Amazing! This is truly an exceptionally good song! Love, your little one.
Hi little one.
I am so suprised by the reactions on this song. I do like to sing also in this way but nobody here at home likes it so i become insecure about this one.
But with your nice compliment and from the others i can believe that im not that strange when i sing like this.
Hello, This is quite an interesting songit has something trance-like about it. The idea behind it is solid, but the ending seems to have gone completely off track. I also get the impression that you may have overprocessed the singers naturally beautiful voice. At times, it sounds a little unstable or wobbly.
I believe the song could turn out really well with a bit more time and effort. Maybe dial back the effects just a touch, and bring in a few short musical variations that support the vocals dramatically at key momentsfocus on shaping the musical arc of tension. And most importantly, consider completely reworking the ending.
The foundation and the concept of the song are strong, but to make it truly great, it needs a little more refinement.
Hi my friend, I'm sorry for not getting back to you sooner. I think Kay expressed it beautifully the song you've created here is really wonderful. Thank you so much!
Warm wishes,
Manuela
Dark, powerful, mysterious! Just like the stories that have grown around your absence through your messages. Maybe you should explain yourself to your "friends" sometime. You don't have tocertainly not herebut maybe in an email. I'd be glad if you did. I know, once again I'm playing the villain, but it's a role I'm familiar with. About your songPaul already said itits exactly what one would expect from you. Take care, Manuela.
Oh, man, am i in trouble? I feel like i am lol. Im sorry. Of course, u should kno that i value your friendship as well as ur opinion, and im a pretty open person. Im a little surprised that u want to kno what happened to me even tho i shouldn't be. There arent many people around me that care that much, sad as that is. Ill send u an email as soon as i get a chance, if that's ok. As for the song, im honored that u take the time to listen to my work and offer encouragement. It might seem like a small thing, but small things can alter the course of ones life in the best ways. Thank u manu.
Hello, that's a really interesting approach! I find this slightly dark gothic style, combined with the bright piano and your wonderful voicealong with the male vocal support in the chorusto be a beautifully crafted composition. You've managed to create a magnificent musical arc that starts gently and builds with full riffs and an impressive lead guitar. Compliments! Warm greetings from faraway Mexico, Manuela
Hi Richard, Youve been so incredibly productive lately that I nearly missed this songwhat a shame that would have been! As always, its brilliantly arranged and technically flawless. Maybe give yourself a little more time between releases so I have a chance to catch up and enjoy each track properly *smile* Warm regards, Manuela
You're right! Overcoming strokes of fate is never easy. When you've lost your entire existence and are standing among the rubble, it feels almost like a miracle to get back to where you once were before the catastrophe.
But what I also wanted to say about your song is this: I like it so much becauseunlike your previous onethis piece really shows your roots again. Im sure you remember my comment about your last song.
Thank you so much for coming back Manuela,
it is really wonderful to read your opinion. I just make music because I love the process and your sensitive approach makes me love it even more.
Friendly greetings, Anthony
A truly wonderful and emotive production that, in its structure, brings to life both the tragedy and the courage to move forward through music. Truly grand musical cinemaif I may put it that way. Well done! Best regards, Manuela.
Hello Manuela
You always find those words that matter so much. To find the courage to move on, is the main thought after the deep grief for the losses. And music is present, as it has been, a way of living.
Thank you for your thoughtful comment, it is greatly appreciated. Life goes on, finds its ways. It is already twenty years, kids are grown up and in other cases the elderly age has come, this is the circle and I think this is what I carry in my music, along with my love for Greece, where I live my circle.
I am so glad you liked it.
Warm regards, Anthony
Hello, that's lovely! It brings back those beautiful shellac records with the 78 rpm speedthe gentle crackling, the occasionally stuttering sound. Wonderful song! Warm regards, Manuela
Oh yes, and after the second whisky, Barbara is on board too smile
Well, since I dont really have a direct basis for comparison, Im not entirely sure what the update specifically improved. It feels like theres greater depth in the mastering? Ive listened to the track againthis time in our studio over our full sound system. The first time was through headphones.
All I can say is: crystal clear, brilliant depth of sound, and excellently placed spatial instrumentation. Outstanding work, although I must admit, I already felt that way even before the update. smile
Our sound engineer and the colleagues who were present are all equally impressed by your work.
Manuela. Thanks again for the second opinion. Actually I tried a new limiter which I feel sharpened the overall mix with some added definition. The colleagues and engineer's critique was helpful as well. Tell them thanks for me. Be safe.

Hello UE, I'm so glad that you and Mark 2 are such outstanding jazz specialists represented here. I truly believe you've poured a lot of love and attention into the guitar work it's beautifully detailed. The accompanying instruments are excellent too, but the bassline in particular really captivated me. It drives the piece with great energy, and the ambitious, seamless guitar runs are wonderfully complemented by the keys. Altogether, it's a stunning and harmonious piece. Despite the length of the song, I never felt it dragged on. Truly wonderful! Beautiful work! Warm regards, Manuela
Thanks Manuela. Ahhh, Moenchengladbach, a place where i used to hang out alot! I really try to cut the length of my track but it seems 5 to 6 minutes is the sweet spot. Thank you again for the listen and comments. PS Mark's work is soooo good and what a great music ambassador. PEACE UE To all, Quit Spotify, use somehting else. Spotify is Music's Tesla.
Hi Mom,
Such a lovely message and a beautiful song! And your singing is absolutely not amateurish it's really impressive!
I hope you're feeling better?
Lots of love,
