The melody is beautiful, and the instrumentation is truly outstanding. Even though the song runs for over five minutes, it flew by while I was listening.

on something deeper by BONEZONMARZ
Hi there, This is such a beautiful songso gently produced, with a truly wonderful voice. I really like it! The only thing that felt a bit sudden to me was the ending. Maybe the song could be extended a little, perhaps with a short musical interlude? What do you think? But even as it is now, its already earned a little heart from me *smile. Warm regards, Manuela

Hello Mark,

I'm truly glad you're back here! Your outstanding compositions, which impressed me so deeply in the past, have been greatly missed. With this song, you've once again proven your talent. The impressive soloists are beautifully carried by a stream of driving foundational elements. A fantastic flow, from beginning to end. I hope we'll be hearing more from you here in the future.

Best wishes and have a wonderful weekend, Manuela

on So High Lets Fly by AnthonyAttard
Hi Anthony, Im not quite sure what to write to you anymore. When I listen to your older piecesthose created long ago, a few of which I managed to rescueI cant help but feel happy about the incredible artistic journey youve taken since then. Even though I sometimes feel just the tiniest bit wistful that your musical connection to your homeland seems to have faded a little. Im reminded of the comments BaoBou and I made back thenyou probably remember them too. But thats how development works. And with such a positive evolution like yours, its completely understandable that youve reached new shores. Thats a good thing.

Now, enough of the prelude. This song is once again a real showstoppertechnically and musically. A beautiful flow, lovely composition, and great staging. Top notch all around!

Warm regards and a lovely weekend, Manuela

Hello Manuela
What a beautiful comment!
I am happy that you have found in my tracks my love for my country and in others maybe not. I do not do something intentionaly. I just try to make music and during this procedure my inner world gets in touch with the notes my fingers play. I get messages from many many events that surround us. I will upload a song just for a while for you to listen to the "Distant Loss". It was about the catastrophy due to "Katrina". I will also invite you to listen to a song named "In memoriam" which is upliaded to my YouTube channel. It is grief for so many souls lost in an unbelievable train accident we lived here in Greece.
You surely understand, we are humans and our emotions are connected to our surrounding world.
I think I understand how you mean it. It is good for my music to be distinguished by some unique elements, and these elements could come from my feelings for my country. I am hugely flattered that you felt Greece in my songs and this is something I cannot control. It is spontaneous (smile).
As for this specific track, I was driven by all those elements Elastik Player provided. I really thought of it as a collaboration. I had a great band with its ideas to collaborate with and "we" have made a song.
There has been a long period I did not make any music and then Corona virus appeared and I returned to this love of mine.
It is not simple expressions when I say I appreciate this feedback. It is a reality that takes place with every song and of course encourages the most for what you describe as positive evolution. It matters a lot. It is a huge boost and if I am to accept these fine words it is because you matter a lot.
I wish we'll be well in our health and in our lives so that music will strengthen these human bonds, who are a unique gift.
Greetings from Greece my friend, have a pleasant weekend.

on Death is rest by ARTD4RV
Hi Art, Thats an incredibly powerful and dark driveit carries a truly ominous tone. The abrupt ending, the loading of the weapon, and the final shot are undeniably intense. But in a way, they give strong justification to the titleeven if some might interpret it differently. Theres a deep emotional current running through this song. I just hope that in reality, youre not as introverted, bleak, or self-destructive as the music suggests! Warm wishes, Manuela

Liebe Gruesse, Manuela

Hi Leo, what a beautiful and melodic pop song. The voice is fantastic (who's the singer?), wonderfully complemented by the instrumental arrangement. You've really struck a great balance between the vocals and the musiceverything blends together seamlessly. The musical arc is impressive, with an exciting and well-crafted build-up towards the end. Brilliant work! Best wishes, Manuela

on Odarka - In The Middle Of Nowhere by VTNights
Hello Oli, of course youre right! Speaking for myself, I always make an effort to be communicative. When users download my songs and want to share the results of their efforts with me, I listen to almost all of them and leave a message. However, Ive stopped evaluating songs that were created using my vocalsunless someone specifically asks me for my opinion. I believe that when someone works with my vocals, they should do it for themselves, not for me. Still, I dont automatically reach out to every user who downloads my vocals. On LM alone, that would be thousands. But I do understand what you mean. When I take on the role of a seller, I also need to engage with the buyer and support them in every way I can. In Odarkas case, unfortunately, she doesnt distribute herselfshe works with distribution platforms that have taken over the entire handling process. I value Odarka very highly as a person, and I think if you send her an email, shell definitely get back to you.

Speaking of trust: I trust most people herebut only as long as that trust isnt betrayed.

Kiss, Manuela

on Draw Near Again by RichardShekari
Hello Richard, musically once again an absolutely wonderful song. I really like its structure, melody, drive, and instrumentation. You know how much I appreciate youyour life, your compassionate nature, and the work you do. I know that despite some painful life experiences, you remain a remarkably balanced and life-affirming person. And I believe youve come to know me well by now, too. Thats why you know we could talk for hours about sin, atonement, and God without ever losing respect for one another. While I believe we should continuously ask ourselves during our lifetime to what extent weve caused harmto others, the environment, and even to ourselvesand seek to make amends in the here and now, you seem to place your hope in Gods mercy. I hope were both right and walking the right path. With all my love to you, Manuela

Hi Manuela,

Thank you so much for your heartfelt message. Im truly grateful-not only for your encouraging words about the song, but also for the depth of your understanding, the wisdom you so generously share, and the unwavering support youve shown me over time.

It means a lot to me that you see and acknowledge the journey Ive walked. Life has brought its fair share of trials, but like you, I try to remain grounded-guided by something beyond myself. Your perspective always adds richness to our conversations, and I deeply respect the way you approach life with clarity and reflection.

I also treasure the mutual respect between us-how we can discuss difficult matters like sin, atonement, and faith, yet never lose sight of the love and regard we hold for one another. That kind of connection is rare, and I dont take it lightly.

May we both keep growing, questioning, and walking with humility and hope. I pray we are each moving in the direction of light and truth.

With all my appreciation and love.

on Odarka - In The Middle Of Nowhere by VTNights
Hi Oli,
Youve really nailed the grooveit sounds fantastic! If I were you, Id definitely consider pursuing this commercially. I think $10 or $19 for the basic or premium license is absolutely fair, especially for such outstanding vocals. It doesnt necessarily have to be an exclusive license.
Warm regards,
Manuela

Hi Manuela, I know you would say something like this :-) Yes I was a bit provokative but when I look at the Lm site for this acapella you cannot see any feedback to the links producers do. OK, some of the versions are more a rape of the acapella but you will find also some nice versions. But no feedback at all? This is a bit arrogant (even it could be shyness) and turns me off. I did buy acapellas in the past but all you get is a link and a payment confirmation. No words from the singer at all. And this is IMHO NOT the way we should collaborate. I have done nice tracks with Silver Bella for example in the past. You get a feedback and also maybe a brief but nice comments or even a Email conversation. Just like we have done in the past. That adds to the vibe a song needs. I have to agree that you need to spread out the word of your work in so many different sites today that you may lost track, but at the end we are still humans connected to each other and that singers need good producers and the other way around. At the end we are all in the same boat. I know it is not a good feeling when you can hear your voice in a shabby Spotify song and nobody told you and you have given it for free. But when we don't start to trust each other this is only a digital marketplace with soulless songs and music. I am sure you agree that this hardly cannot be successful. Cheers, Oli

on Track 12 Prog House by paulcreaney
Hi Paul, I completely agree with "Doofuss" comment you've created a rich, expansive sound that sets a really intriguing mood. Taking that slightly stumbling synth from the intro, as "Art" pointed out, and using it as the rhythmic foundation was a clever move. I also really enjoyed those background tones that almost sound like an old Atari such a fun touch! All in all, this is a very strong and fascinating piece of work. The mix and mastering are also really well done. Warm regards, Manuela

on Be My Echo by Kayos2
I can picture it so vividly that movie scene where an open Cadillac, bathed in moonlight, stands on a hill above the city on a warm summer night. Inside, two young souls wrapped in each others arms, sharing a kiss... What a vibe! Kay, your vocals are absolutely beautiful and fit the mood perfectly. Combined with one of Ollis famously retro-style productions, this song becomes a truly wonderful listening experience. Much love, Manuela

on Across The Echoes Of 1987 - Instrumental by Verdiqo
Hello Verdi, Even though the 1980s are just a hazy memory in my physical perception (born in 1984), this kind of light and easygoing music is still very present in my world. It's simply timeless! You really notice that when you take a serious look at todays music and realize how strong the influence of the '80s still is. And thats the beautiful thing about that musically rich era!

Many of todays musical genres draw on fragments from that time or even adopt entire song structures. I truly believe the 1980s were the most important period for the development of modern pop music.

I love that your song brings a bit of that sound back to us. Great work warm regards, Manuela

on Smooth It by StratOli
Hi Oli,

You can really hear how much fun you had with your guitar on this trackit shines through in every note. Your relaxed and confident way of handling the instrument is truly remarkable. I also love how you created a musical bed with the other instruments that perfectly supports your unmistakable guitar sound.

There's a great funky drive to the piece, with a touch of soulful elements, and at times your playing even brings in a subtle jazzy character. Excellent choice of accompanying instruments, by the waythey sound great, never overpowering, yet still holding their own alongside the guitar.

Wonderful work! Beautiful song!

Warm regards, Manuela

Thank you Manuela for your kind words. I am not that good to talk about my recordings. I guess I am just trying first of all to have fun and convey some sort of mood. I also like to mix genres a bit (to the extend of my capabilities) and to try to create a real conversation between the various parts and instruments whether they are 'organic' or not. Sometimes it works and sometimes ... I wish you all the best with your new album, warm regards, Oli
