This is a pretty cool chill track. I don't know if I would consider it house, but I don't really like getting caught up in genres like other people sometimes do, very well produced, and it makes me move, I dig it.
Man, every time I write one of these, I always look up at the top of the screen and see the same thing posted in the grey box, but really, that's all I can do here, so I'll just say "Cool Track" and leave it at that. Keep more like these coming. Added to my favorites.
This is totally old Spice one stuff right here! I like it, it needs some hard psychopathic vocals over it in my opinion. At first I was like "What the hell is this low quality track, and then it kicked in, what a bad ass way to start a track. Keep em coming!
Wow, this is really cool. I found it from your forum post about the acapella being up soon. You hit some freaky notes that work in context to the original piece, so I'm really glad I listened to it first, because I wouldn't really know what to do with it otherwise. Great epic track, and I can't wait for the acapella!
I like the track, but it didn't really make me feel all that sad. It has a great melody and everything, but I think with some of the repetition, the intent got a little lost. I think it's almost there, but try changing the loops a little, just by a note or two here and there, so the piece moves a little more. I know it's hip hop and some repetition is pretty hard to avoid (good hip hop, in most producer's minds= 70% vocals, 30%beat) but I think this could be a rare exception. It would give it a great relistening value even after vocals are added. I dunno, just a thought.
You got great flow man, and I really think the accents on the vocals are in all the right places, this has more feeling than a lot of other tracks I have heard. Great job. As a side note, when I read the description, I thought you were actually talking about cats, like the animal, and that made sense in context lol.
Of all the tracks I listened to, I like this one the most, but it is neither classified as drum and bass or trance, so I couldn't really use it in your forum post, but really like all the envelopes and such that you use, really nice to groove on. Check out my remix of Dance With Me sometime.
I agree with you, but yeah, this really was just an experiment, but Im glad people enjoyed it, Including you and three people below. I'll happily check out the remix, because you did what I asked you to do :)
Cool, I like it. I didn't expect someone's first attempt at making music to include beatboxing, it totally took me off guard! I think you got some talent man, keep it up, I look forward to hearing more of your stuff in the future.
wow and thinks a lot, this song is not one of my favorites because its just loops and freestyle and not original and made from srcatch
thanks a lot i will be in touch
I agree with Mr. E, the mix could be a little more even, the keyboard work is really good, and the drums are fairly real sounding, which is not easy to do when synthesizing metal. I think you should seek out a guitarist to actually play on this track, and maybe add a couple of leads, and you have a solid intro track to an album, so long as you spend a painful amount of hours automating EVERYTHING and making a great mix. A really solid start, in my opinion, and a good way to compose a metal piece all by yourself.
Yeah, I know the mix ain't all that good. "Something..." was one of the first songs I wrote, and I just didn't really have the experience nor the equipment to master the track well. I've since gotten some very nice vocal processors, sonic enhancers, and high-end multi-band EQ's (and gained a bit of experience as well), so my production quality is gaining (I hope). I'll probably remix this track sometime in the near future, but I'm presently concentrating on finishing a dozen or so new tracks.
I wish I knew a decent guitarist to add some licks to some of my stuff, but I don't. I do have a couple of new guitar emulators though, so I'm hoping that with a little practice I get the guitar sound I'm really after.
When I re-master, I'll probably replace the FPC drums with Real Acoustic Drums Sf2, which are real acoustic drum samples.
Thanx for listening and reviewing, bro. I really do appreciate it.
I wasn't really digging this track until about three minutes into it when the melodic elements started, and then I really got into it. I suppose that's the relationship I have with a lot of trance though, it takes awhile for the main melodic parts to kick in unless it's a radio edit or something.
I couldn't tell you anything to improve it, the production is top notch and the track is well thought out. I like how all the drums cut through the mix well, and you still don't lose the bass or any of the synths. Nice work!
Smooth indeed. I like the whole thing. I can't wait to hear what someone can do over it. I love the strings. Total old skool rap sounding. If it were me, I would quiet the clap just a pinch, but everything else is mixed perfectly to my ears, but that's just me.
Straight outta "Tales From the Hood". I agree with BrotherJack on this one, you need to blend it a little better, everything feels really separate. Or you just need a vocal track over the beat so I can see where you're going with it, either way.
I like this track all right. I think some levels adjustment with the vocals is in order. Also that arp loop 33 secs is a little overpowering, or it might just not work, I dunno, it just seems to get a little loud in places. Overall though, the beat is really cool and a little proggy, which I dig. Also, I like the rap whistle a lot, and you never hear it anymore! Keep it up man.
I still have a lot to learn with production man. Thanks for the advise,,any feedback is good feedback!Glad ya like the tune man.thanx 4 reviewing..Peace!
Great tune. I love the melody. I would suggest maybe turning the birds down a little at the end because they kind of overpower the mix, but other than that a stellar track!
What are you talking about you wish you could get my level of production? This is so much better than any of the stuff I have ever produced, everything is so crisp and defined. I dig all the panning, I rarely use it myself. We should totally collab on something sometime.
