I make no secret of how much of a fan I am of Manuela and 2sisters, I'm glad to see that these vocals were in good hands. Nice work and a lovely message to the community. Thanks for sharing.
I woke up and found your message and realized that this track made another happy person and it's another wonderful day for all of us. )) What about Manuela, she has the gift to touch the soul...
The say the highest form of flattery is Imitation. That by itself would be enough for me, and an honor. But you have your own vibe, for sure man. I feel like you understand a lot of my vision, and pieced your own vision together with a little new inspiration. Well freaking done, man. I love orchestral stuff, and operatic, as well. This one gets my stamp, bro. - Aaron
P.S. I'm honored that I'm able to inspire you. I hope that only continues.
Yeah I think it turned out pretty good, most of my music is inherently dark even if it doesnt start that way it usuall ends that way lol I really have to work to make something that sounds "upbeat" but the dark stuff just flows right out of me idk lol. Glad you dig it bro thanks for listening!
Hey Paul, I forgot to to tell u in my earlier msg, but be on the lookout for an email from me, I sent one to Manuela as well, Im outlining some things (some of which u you touched on in your reply here), I feel like the potential for growth and closer and more frequent collaborations between the many talented artists here is STAGGERING, but there are more barriers here than bridges, unfortunately. (RIP Forum) Ive brainstormed some possible solutions that would leave everything here intact, that was important to me. My wish is only to enhance, streamline, and strengthen relationships. Anyway, You kno what I mean. I'll send the email this evening. - Aaron
great Aaron, the whole point of building a community is to enhance everyone, we are here to get better, whether you want to earn or not, LM is were we bond, its not the beacon of how big or how good you are or aren't, i want more than anything to keep it in house but they are making it extremely difficult, they gave people a great looking site, but removed some of the best things, forum being one, but the ignorance is appalling when i cant reply using nothing more than English i use to always translate to their language, to see comments in all languages is inspiring and a beautiful sight to see, its harmony, thats what music does, unfortunately life doesn't alwayswork as you want. it will be interesting to see what you have been putting some effort into, great community spirit bro, you will get your rewards, karma comes round.
thats right mate im 4 years in November but only 2 years doing voxs, we got more to offer too, mark my words, hope your album was received well too Aaron
This is similar to the first songs I heard from you, back in like 2019, only with extremely eveident growth. I think when u began broadening your range and experimenting, you really found your stride. Ifeel like thats one of the main points of having a community such as this. Its good to have a style that u feel is your own, everyone should have that. But unless theres an album to make etc, stepping out side the box is the best way to learn and grow, IMO. Because the things u learn get applied to your main work, and u get better. not to mention having a blast getting the experience. U have the right idea about it bro, dont doubt. I really proud of u, Paul. Ill be here for it all man.....i already knew this would be good, and i was right.
hi Aaron, thanks, i am thrilled that i connected with you, yeah about 2022 i'd say. i'd done 2 year and was really only known for my beats and finding a vocal for collabs with Maj, but i was good in the community. i always believed i could write a good track, and started singing about our community and the people within, my voice was embarrassing tho, i don't even do Karaoke, ive never sang. i danced, i was petrified thought i would get smashed but i never, the best artists spotted something, raw as hell but he might have something, thats when the guiding and help started and is the reason i love and protect our community i try to get everyone on the side of love and sharing and collab as much as possible to highlight it, we have bucketfulls of talent here and im steppin out with the best of em, thats why i love the place and want the site to start lovin us back and give us a forum, this place is nothing without its artist and uploaders
hey Aaron (valvedriver), I wanted to respond, as well. I had the dry vocal mix, and I couldve done what i normally do with vocals, but i didnt want to lose Dime's signature and his echo effect, and Id have felt like I was stepping on his toes and what he wanted to do. with the fx as powerful as they are, i found that any louder and they drowned out some of the nuances of the beat, and each other in some cases. In the future, Before mixing I would approximate what he was going for, and then send it over for his thoughts. This was our first true collab and i took what i felt was the best overall approach. Its more on me than on him. I will say that not many first time collabs go this quickly and smoothly, and that working relationship can spawn some great things. Thanks for supporting Dime, as well as myself, man. - The other Aaron lol
just about to retire had a friend over a late one, nice message bro, we are going better have no worries my overlays were textuted as you know mate, never ever feel like you would step on my toes, you do you like i do me, it works bro, a true story my track with Oli my layout was alot different,, first listen i was this isn't right, but what a mistake that was, i assume my layout is best, not necessarily, i make mistakes like all, but after a day of listening to Oli's layout my opinion changed i couldn't have it my way it sounded good dont get me wrong but Oli captured my heart far better with his layout he structured my verse differently, thats why i give carte blanche the producer is the boss, even if its my idea :) all the comments are positive too Aaron even the couple critiques which is the feedback we want most, are not really critique they highlight positives too, and thought it was a good collab moving forward, bigger and better bro that's the name of the game
About 20 years ago, I used to frequent a place called Club X in the City I grew up in. The doors didnt even open until 11 PM or later. This reminded me ALOT of the music Id hear there, a genre that almost defies description. Watever that genre is, u absolutely nailed it here, and brought back a ton of memories I had long ago forgotten. I couldnt ask for more in a song. Thank u for uploading this. I love it.
Hello Pnn, many thanks for your reply. I am glad you like it. It is not for everyone, I know. It is something quite special and I am sure I could have been the DJ those days :-) Cheers, Oli
It really makes me happy to revisit these comments and see all the positive things everyone has said. It's a Great song and, as Dime said, we're really proud of it.
that's right bro, the comments are positive and we have every right to be proud, i see you got new up, I'll take a look, ive got 2 new ones finished so will be changing up again soon, but I'm also looking to do more with you too.
done ourselves justice here Aaron, but the beans are served by the producer YOU, there was no shady without Dre, more will come im sure, you done me real proud fam, its got to be a certain vocal trap, its not easy to accommodate even tho it's a sub genre of hip-hop and rap, but i got there, and its extra dark and menacing alright, your work is fire, im proud your proud too bro, it means we both have the same drive and hunger, you were a pleasure to work with, we both know now what to expect from each other in future, this result shows that it works, thankyou.
My reply to your first comment was a little jacked....would not let me finish....but anyway my friend I thank you for checking it out....I'm not a guitar player just a guitar lover.....really from way back. Believe it or not I improvise all of this from start to finish....I've learned the fretboard pretty well but allow the feeling to dictate the notes I play. It may be the harder way of playing but it's what I do.....I do appreciate the heck out of folks like yourself who are very talented and love to listen to your creations....so keep it coming....thank you again brother.
Man....this makes me want to get my acoustic out and play. Guitar was the first instrument pcked up, at 5 yrs old. Then throughout my teens, I was convinced I was going to be a rock star lol. I was in a few bands, one really good one. But we never played anything as pure as this. I wouldnt have understood it back then. But as a person gets older, sometimes their soul just craves something its hard to put a name on. That something is exactly something like this. Bravo man. Im moved. - Aaron
I hear Ministry and even some early Nine Inch nails here in places. But overall, Its its own thing. Certainly isnt alot like it, at least not mainstream. Ill make my way through your work slowly but surely. It has definitely made an impression on me. The breakdown + drop was awesome. Love this one. - Aaron
Aaron, how ya doin'?
It' interesting that you hear Ministry and NIN. I had no intentions of giving this an industrial sound. But, now that I go back and listen to it again, I can hear it too. I guess it's inevitable that my influences are going to show up whether I mean to or not. Not so much NIN, I wasn't ever really a fan of Reznor, but Ministry...for sure. One of my all time favorites.
I'm honored that my work has had an impact on you. That's always good to hear.
While you're working your way through my work, just be ready for a wide variety of sounds. All of which tending to lean on the darker side, but a total wide spectrum of...we'll call them Genres.
Anyhow, I'm glad you're diggin' it, man. That means a lot.
I certainly dont get to hear much like this anymore, this took me back to the Raves and house shows of my youth, a place called Club X. Idk if u make Dnb often but this is well done. U should definitely do more. - Aaron
Every track Ive listened to from u, u can hear marked improvement overall. U must really be working hard, man. This is my favorite one yet, well balanced and perfect length also. Maybe slight reverb on the snare? I think it would sound great. - aaron
Hey Paul, I must say, this is much different than your usual work. Ur a seriously hard worker, I think trying this kind of thing a litle more and marrying it to ur other styles would be lightning in a bottle. Im always proud to listen to ur stuff, youve grown as an artist immensely. Super proud of u dude. - Aaron
thanks for the check out Aaron, i really liked the words in this one, i always try bro give my all, ours next mate, maybe later even, we'll see, but again looking forward to sharing it, same with you bro always like to listen to you, we all keep growing
Ive had a similar experience, man. I didnt have the guidance I needed when I signed the documents I signed. I hope that this experience didnt put your fire all the way out, This is nicely done. U can hear that u had fun with it, and u should do more in a similar vein as this one.
You have such an unconventional approach man. Id like very much to have u here in the "Sewer Lab" (my tiny makeshift studio) and just chill & bounce ideas off each other. I sent that little mix I did with one of your loops as a test run to see what your thoughts are, btw. Ive been playing around with the idea of a discord for the members of this community, as the forum is gone, not that it was easy or intuitive to use, but it did exist. (RIP) I think a discord would solve alot of the problems that arose from that. Id be glad too help set it up, Im just gaugeing interest atm. Feel free to send me anything, Im defintely looking for some stuff in D#m, F#m, or Fm, I dont like altering the keys if i can avoid it. Happy Music Making, my friend. - Aaron
Hey mate - Im always happy to share stuff and collaborate where I can - dont always have much time but every so often I do. I sent you a few more bits - left overs- stems, parts from abandoned tracks (Ive a lot)
Holee shyt....this is awesome. My musical journey began as the guitarist in a garage metal band when I was 16 years old, and even though most of my work these days is completely different, i still wear those influences. Ive had a side project in mind involving Industrial Metal recently, and this makes me want to dive right into that and get it going. I havent heard anything like this in years, this is excellent work.
Thanks, man. I'm glad you liked it.
I say do it. Dive in and do the shit out of it, brother. Bring your side project to the forefront and knock that fucker out of the park! Uncle Al didn't pioneer the way for side projects. But, you know, only if you want to. But, if you do, I want to hear it.
That's all for now. Take care, man.

Manuela is very inspiring, It always makes me happy to see a collab with her that does her vocals justice. Very nicely done, man. Inspired music to go along with inspired vocals. - Aaron
Thank you so much for listening to the song and for posting your comments. I am really glad you liked it. I will very soon visit you to listen to your work. Thanks again
Best wishes, Anthony
Its heartbreakingto live as far away as i do sometimes, bro. Id love to be a part of this somehow. My roots are in performing, and theres a deep itch for it i can never seem to scratch. i envy u man. I kno u guys will be killin it
bro i love your enthusiasm, as you know news is slow, please keep this completely secret my texts are being monitored by MI5, the CIA and the Kremlin are also monitoring, we were hoping to cross the water and gift our American public, we've created riots on the street you've seen the UK news :)) sorry i have to go, this new news will upset, they're holding it tho' both me and Robin are in deep trouble, not just musically, the story continues in next week's HEADLINES :))
Aaron the girls are an important part within our community, just like Rita Angel, ashes and dreams and Bella provide vocals, but dont join in the community as much, which is fine of course, we need more females to balance the scales, thats very important, it cuts thro' all the male bravado, your dead right they worth going to war for, they have supported me massively, and they also support everyone and the community massively too
well, im certainly glad i pressed play on this one. Unique vibe, I feel youd serve yourself better to describe it that way. this is all u, man. nice progressions, as well.
hey paul. its a shame we dont hear music like this very often in my parts, at least not in many years. Im glad ur the kinda person to grasp what making music is all about. As long as u continue to bend genres and make music that works for u, youll be a hrad person to stop, my friend. well done. - Aaron
thanks Aaron, i am really enjoying the writing and delivery and the subject content recently thats how Paul see things today and he dosn't like it at all, im all for everyone having a happy life, all i see is pain and suffering and a whole lot of hatred, riots in the UK are disgusting and your country is so divided at the moment too, humans are the worst thing this planet will ever host, because we are greedy and selfish and power hungry and continually want more, respect is a word not many recognise these days especially our leaders
Man, this just calls to my soul....old skool memphis vocals just hit on ten for me. How would u feel about working on something similar with me? Even if its something as simple as swappin some stems. I do professional work myself, & Im still signed to a Label. Youd be in good hands, but my work would speak for itself. Lmk man, shoot me an email. My names Aaron, I upload here pretty often.
