youre like a smart cure
i love your trading betwixt
i love the mixing too
it never fails to engage me at all levels
reminds me of demons souls
i havent eaten for 36 days i still get bigger, i know the process
Hello friend! Reading your review, I don't know whether you mean a cure (as in medicine) or the cure (as in the band)... heh heh... either way it's a good thing, so thank you! Betwixt is such a good word! Thanks for the compliment on the mixing too! Glad I could engage you and others for a few minutes. I think I know the demons you mean, and that's pretty much what this song is about. I catch your meaning about not eating and all, though it wasn't foremost in my thoughts when writing this song. More literal, as in I'm getting thinner, and you're getting bigger... "you" in this case is more of a general powers that be reference. Thank you very much for your exciting comment, you never fail to inspire me and make me look at things differently! If I could fave a comment I would!
this shit is hard, so expressive, lofi enough to allow interpretation, hifi enough to kill it
your vocals are getting so good i want you throwing down accas,
chav chaos, it gives me, you have a signature sound to you, your cadence is spot on, your delivery on time, theres an element i cant describe yet though, something very complicated, favorited.
Definitely one of the best reviews I've gotten, and from a member who inspires me thoroughly, that says a lot! To be told my cadence and delivery is proper means very much to me! I'm not sure if I'll ever do accapellas or not, i gerally prefer to have my vocals in a remix kit setting with the instruments used. Might be worth it for this song I guess. Maybe I'll work on that. Thanks so much for the comment and fave!
dude, pat you made the track, you literally balanced my end to functionality, you are mix king. just hears the final on the host, i am flattered to be a part of anything you do, letslone a remix, that beats mine, ive neen srolen from here quite a few times, but im proud that you grabbed it this time, you get me
Hey, you're my hero for inspiring me to write this song! It was one of the most cathartic things I've ever done! It's a collaboration that just had to happen. Thanks much! I'm going to visit your page in a second!
you grasped the entirety of the beat
you balance better than i,
honky tonks comment kinda hurt but im proud to be a part of anything you do!
thank you for your vision and time
Hey, you've made my new year with this comment! This is one of my most valuable and rewarding collaborations to date, and I owe it all to you! I spoke with honkytonk, who I'm collabing with now, and he wrote a new comment apologizing and stuff. Thanks for your comment!
i love the effects, very active-listen kinda track, so much to follow and hear
this is a very unique track, and your use of offtime is absolutely perfect
i really dig this one
mournful almost, as if glados once cried
this is very powerful, and you are a master of edit-event,
and your melody is downright infectious
still i see a story here
someone with drive (the ever presesnt backing) faces challenges over and over, they never stop
then comes the goliath, and were left to wonder how our softspoken hero fares
#faved
this is an aural feat, i came back home to visit the fam, found this, and with it new resolve to create.
i had nearly given up on my passion. thank you for your slice of mind.
working towards deputy-ship now here in the ami midwest, lets not meet on my beat lol, great track, the depth of mix is even phone friendly, nuanced and strong
really great track!
id like to know joe, he seems like a deep intuitive man
uou make me pang for a soul i dont know, thats serious kudos bro, to convey in words and music, one sentiment
i love it
powerful and aggressive
love the range of sounds, you understand the jazz/techno influence that birthed the genre
not a human soul could manual this on the tables without poser mixing
beautiful
you hit every freq and not for novelty, the composition is mighty
evokes dave wise works and feed me at once
keep this up, wonderful track
do you do your instrumentation, this is impressive, with a far better handle on mastery than i could aspire yet
this really throws me back
atmospheric and challenging
this is obviously a product of thought over feeling, had to listen a few times to get it
i love it, great job

this is cerebral, impactful and inspiring
and on a technical note you can mix with the best
im dumbstruck by this track
thank you so much for sharing it

im not a big house man, but youre on the cusp of making a convert with work like this
much respect
heroin the song
ive had a hellish day and with this track youve dug me up and handed me a warm glenlivet
you truly know how to build an atmosphere and expand upon it
distilled 6 times with no fill or conjugate holding it down
great work here, im grateful to have you among us once more
makes me want to don the woad and stamp that fire out
i fell the anticipation rise and the "shits gonna go down" vibe take over
a great afro-techno collision
you should be proud
love your melodic sense, and the drums fit sooo perfectly
such caliber work inspires me to carry on, seeing what can be done
the blend of heavy retro and analog kills me, i absolutely love this mix
ill be watching you from now on :D
as a delta man, this track takes me home, smoky powerful atmosphere and an impressive blend of disparate contributions
this blows me away, hard to show a creole something new in blues but trust me, im taking notes now ;)
terrific track
Wow thanks for that man, I'm sure everyone involved will be blown away by your comments, I know I am. How about contributing some authentic Creole guitar for the track. There's an email address in the forum. I don't think the mix is over yet!!
Doctorcatface, I love the name bro. :) I also love and appreciate the support. I can't take any credit for the drums as they are a sample. All I did was run some effects and EQ them to where I wanted them. Guitar, bass and keyboard was all me so I thank you for the kind words in those regards. I believe a good track regardless of genre should be one that pulls the listener in and engages them. One thing to say it, whole different thing to pull it off though. :) Thanks again bro.
i love the sense of confusion and panic right from the start
your voice is like a mix of tyler and wayne
with lyrics that create vivid images and challenge the listener
i love it, in short, i need more
Soft like velvet, like cruising through downtown through the lights, reminds me of home.
Between casinos, locked on your partner enjoying a quietly fierry night.
Saved it on my list for my getting it on playlist, i love it.
I like the way you picture a possible scenario on my little music .
Very glad you stopped by Doctorcatface, and I receive your words as an appreciated compliment from a untypical and gifted musician .
Cheers ;)
strings are SO underused, nice job here, and those drums are a kick in the face, i love it
if these are your first tracks, with a few voice packs, youre gonna be golden, im a lil jealous actually
i liked being the string brass guy
Keep it up, you should be proud of these tracks
I don't know if I can express my thanks correctly, haha...
It's very encouraging to see these words, and I definitely am uplifted! It says volumes about you to reach out to a producer-in-the-making such as me, I duly noted this. (:
Thanks! I appreciate it. I think in the future I'll spend a little more time reviewing and editing, I kinda jumped the gun here and uploaded as quick as I could, haha. But thanks again! !
