Hello friend! Reading your review, I don't know whether you mean a cure (as in medicine) or the cure (as in the band)... heh heh... either way it's a good thing, so thank you! Betwixt is such a good word! Thanks for the compliment on the mixing too! Glad I could engage you and others for a few minutes. I think I know the demons you mean, and that's pretty much what this song is about. I catch your meaning about not eating and all, though it wasn't foremost in my thoughts when writing this song. More literal, as in I'm getting thinner, and you're getting bigger... "you" in this case is more of a general powers that be reference. Thank you very much for your exciting comment, you never fail to inspire me and make me look at things differently! If I could fave a comment I would!

this shit is hard, so expressive, lofi enough to allow interpretation, hifi enough to kill it
your vocals are getting so good i want you throwing down accas,
chav chaos, it gives me, you have a signature sound to you, your cadence is spot on, your delivery on time, theres an element i cant describe yet though, something very complicated, favorited.

Spivkurl replied 27th Apr 2014 - 11 years ago
Definitely one of the best reviews I've gotten, and from a member who inspires me thoroughly, that says a lot! To be told my cadence and delivery is proper means very much to me! I'm not sure if I'll ever do accapellas or not, i gerally prefer to have my vocals in a remix kit setting with the instruments used. Might be worth it for this song I guess. Maybe I'll work on that. Thanks so much for the comment and fave!

Hey, you've made my new year with this comment! This is one of my most valuable and rewarding collaborations to date, and I owe it all to you! I spoke with honkytonk, who I'm collabing with now, and he wrote a new comment apologizing and stuff. Thanks for your comment!

on Changes by pxlDoc
mournful almost, as if glados once cried
this is very powerful, and you are a master of edit-event,
and your melody is downright infectious
still i see a story here
someone with drive (the ever presesnt backing) faces challenges over and over, they never stop
then comes the goliath, and were left to wonder how our softspoken hero fares

Wow thanks for that man, I'm sure everyone involved will be blown away by your comments, I know I am. How about contributing some authentic Creole guitar for the track. There's an email address in the forum. I don't think the mix is over yet!!

on Frayed and Dismayed by topvega
right away you pull me in with powerful guitar expression and a punchy drums, a wound that should never heal, great track
topvega
topvega replied 25th May 2013 - 12 years ago
Doctorcatface, I love the name bro. :) I also love and appreciate the support. I can't take any credit for the drums as they are a sample. All I did was run some effects and EQ them to where I wanted them. Guitar, bass and keyboard was all me so I thank you for the kind words in those regards. I believe a good track regardless of genre should be one that pulls the listener in and engages them. One thing to say it, whole different thing to pull it off though. :) Thanks again bro.

Between casinos, locked on your partner enjoying a quietly fierry night.
Saved it on my list for my getting it on playlist, i love it.
