not simple! that is an amazing and enveloping and developing solo that ... oh man Terry Riley hasn't done this for years but that makes this better - deep deep listening gem!
dig the shifts that occur thru-out this track - bein a minimalist/phase-music-lover esp 1.30-3.30 hits an unexpectedly trippy zone with great overtones that works within the whole - keep going!!!!
Thank you! It took me forever to come to a conclusion as to which pieces should go where and the pieces I finally chose are from a 28 minute straight jam to the loop. Thank you for listening and your comment! :)
music of horror misanthropy and experience -
fields of blades
harvests of diminished humanity
gun food for Khomeini
lives cut down forever
or split in half lives
or spit into cells and damaged
within an inch of being free
which is the cruelest thing?

You're right, Mike . Some dreams should remain untouched as we never know what stands behind a smiling heart . "Burn", you said once, and even if I'm not a phoenix, I wish to take that risk . And I've swallowed enough stones to have a safe shell around my heart .
My dear friend, merci beaucoup for your inspiring words . You're a mentor to me .
yr description + the music makes me think of a place called turnagain arm in alaska where when the full tide comes in it slaps back across the continent and meets itself in the middle and the result i've seen is like a wave standing still - it's unearthly but earthly - rare and beautiful
Well, that was an unearthly beautiful and poetic review! Thank you for bringing the knowledge of the tide wave standing still...had not heard of the phenomenon before. I'm definitely going to use it in my writing.
love the shifting and skanky flow - arrangement, instrumentation and perfs are perfect - fav is how ya take the bassline from pure electro to fretless to aco and back to fretless - that's a beautiful hook
Glad you like this motherlover as I had fun making it. It does indeed morph into various shapes. Would have liked more sax but the sax player is apparently not at all interested so don't think I can get him back. Had to use careful editing and FX to stretch the playing I had as far as I could. Would have been good in the main metal section, perhaps to go with the banjo.
ah the hubris of homo sapiens to think that somehow they will be passed over after all the extinctions they have caused - i truly dread to think what the world will be like in 200 or 2000 years - but in 20,000 years the earth will have abided and gone its way without us. i'll come back and let you know
I think there is only one outcome to the evil man has done time for a new race once mother nature has had enough of us then it will fold the earth like a pack of cards hopefully bringing life to those who will listen to the natural laws I could go on
thanks Michael sorry took me a while but very busy here

sound art at its drastic and most necessary - serious, ruff, playful - bad as in badass and with a conscience that awakens any active listener = a deeply aware and deeply layered work, my friend
would dearly love a translation of this powerful vox my friend - the music matches the passion of your delivery and i wish i could understand it more completely - dark, vital, entirely lit up!
Here`s a quick translation using google translator:)
The night falls asleep in your arms
It scrambled the day in tar and milk
and my dry cough now
curves my body in a bow.
I've never wanted the night
to become the blanket
thrown over me in the darkness oblivious
tuck me in a knot - mind and body
I've never loved so
until yesterday - now it is too late
I did not dare to meet stupidity
face to face, and now I`m staring at it dully ...
Paris does not believe in tears
but I see comets falling in your eyes
I do not know how to crawl with dignity
and I cannot walk standing
Repeat my storms rage
for the written word-cry in stone
a cool kiss of the city
for streets torn up to sand
For his caressing hands
as steel caress that leads to screams
and how you sleep like a child
innocent , tired and shy ...
