Yes Michael,i do agree when you say this is cracked pots music.This is the result from listening to Tom Waits and wishing i had 1 percent of his talent.
One thing i know for sure, without these lops i coult be able to make a track like this one.

this is masterful looping!! the flow is so natural and the arrangement is constantly surprising but so in service to track, makes me think of the great jazz arrangers like sonny blount or gil evans - nevermind these words - it's fantastic and darkly luminous song. much much respect, brother
