This sounds cool, the bass goes nicely with the beat/percussion you used. Still lovin the guitar sound. I think the bongos could be a little louder. Like the panning of the guitars. gonna fav!
Hi Wayne!
Thanks for the review and fav.I got your mail:go ahead with the bass track cause I think the track needs some.Unhopefully,I won't be able to go to the US this summer cause I wanted to go with my sister but she's kind of short of money. But I'll go next summer for sure!Looking forward to hear your track!

Always loved the original and had to check this out. Very unique interpretation of it, thought it was pretty cool, much different than the original. I wouldn't mind getting the stems to this, could you direct me to the site please. Victor mentioned something about it. Thanks.
hi Wayne,
sorry i have taken a while to reply...thank you for your appreciation of it....yes the original was cutting edge music at the time but it will be interesting to hear other interppretations as well. I am glad you now have the site info and let me know when you finish your mix.

I can't believe no one has reviewed this yet. Nice piano with some delay, great beat, the music is catchy and very well produced. I think the vocals are very well done, especially liked the ending with the layered vocals. I could hear this on the radio, I think it's has some potential to reach a pop audience as well. dl and fav, thanks!
AAAAhhhhhhhh. This is a really great track. Blood pressure falling, peaceful thoughts entering my lucid mind. Darn, it stopped. Hit play, drifting away, repeat....
A nice clean sound to this, the guitar was great and so was the sax. This is so cool, has a 50's jazzy Louis Prima feel to it. You did a great job with the vocals and backups. Nice mix too!
Catchy number, like it! This song is cool, the drums are nice and all the instruments go together well. If I heard the tracks seperately, I probably would have thought they wouldn't work together but they really do and it certainly has a unique feel.
Geez, I missed this review on the second page. Sorry about that my friend. Thanks so much for your listen and review. Your right, sometimes a person may think it won't sound good at all but sometimes it doesn't sound half bad. Take good care Wayne.

This is pretty decent, music and vocals fit nicely together. I like the arrangement. Chris's vox were strong and the lyrics were great! dl and fav! thanks!
Nice beat with this one, it put me in a great mood listening to this. A bit of chill out feel with this and I'm getting into this as it goes along. Look forward to the vocals but it sure doesn't need any, nice as is!
Was this the song to which you were dancing around the room in your video? This is nice now that I can picture you hopping around the room like a frog. ;) Gonna dl and fav, thanks!!
It has the nomad signature sound which always appeals to me and I certainly wasn't let down after listening. Was that the trumpet bellowing through the song as the main melody line, little distorted? Very cool!
Diggin' the groove to this. Deepman mentioned the length and lack of variation and I agree with him to some degree. I'm not saying the song goes downhill after 4 min but maybe there could be a trumpet break or solo where things settle for a bit and some slightly manipulated trumpet comes in(kinda like the ending). Ask your daughter to go "sachmo" for a few minutes and give you a a few lead snippets on the horn to play with!!
I've tried (unsuccessfully) to bring trumpet phrases into this one, and so far they really aren't working with what's happening (to my ear). I think shortened, the variation issue won't be so significant, and if I can find a moment of big space here that will help too. Everything that's not drums here is actually my daughter's trumpet sample manipulated, which I think is really cool. Unexpected and sonically quite pleasant. My attempts at recording this have generally been 8 to 12 minutes long, and I was really annoyed at how long this version is - I had thought I'd got it down under 4 minutes this time. I think a few dry runs with the new controller I should get it down to a satisfying length. Glad you here the signature sound! To me, it's a lot like the early Jungulator stuff I was doing, though now I actually have control over the production and mix. Glad you enjoyed this one. Thanks Wayne!
I noticed the panning right away with the guitars, really opens things up for the vocals. Catchy, nice lyrics, bass was cool as well. Had a Beatles(Mr. Moonlight, think that's the name of it) feel to it. dl and fav!
Wow, interesting mix, you chopped and placed things where you wanted them, cool! I was wondering what you were doing over there with all those tracks I sent, doing some mixing I hear!!!
Your vocals really stand out now and they sound great too. No bass? It was a bit busy with the mando, I didn't care for it when I put the two together, well, they were recorded seperately and prob not meant to be in the same mix anyway.
Hi Wayne,
I felt so stupid when you told me about panning last time and so I have to thank you again cause I've been remixing a lot of my tracks these last days and some were really improved I think thanks to that.I made a version with the bass but I still think it's a bit busy with.
Cheers

Nice job guys, Ash always seems to come up with something great and always love listening to you sing Marj! Liked the acoustic guitar and the lyrics were very nice. Sweet!
thanks Wayne! i actually wrote the song and posted it at facebook a couple of months ago if i'm not mistaken... and Ash was so kind enough to present himself to do the instrumental since i was just using my acoustic guitar back then.... and i just love the way it came out... thanks for the comment Wayne!
Very cool track guys, I can def hear the Spivkurl sound in there! Liked the bass track and the bells and it's a nice mix as well. Interesting track all the way through, enjoyed!
This put me in a good mood. Liked the intro, thought I was going to hear you sing there for a moment. The sax was just great. Like rei said, your new at this? It does end kinda suddenly but quite enjoyable.
Great piano playing, ragtime, ya I hear it!! Reminds me of music that would accompany a Charlie Chaplin type silent movie. Good stuff, don't hear much ragtime here!
and maybe there's a reason for that, lol. This is a piece I'ld worked up analog, but got ripped for my gear before I could record it. So, to pour off some of the pee and vinegar I immersed in writing it up non linear. The rag really came thru once I tossed the seventh in.
