Fanstatic, you are amazing Allen! I'm so glad you went for it and added the extras. Great southern feel to this track, a bit of Allman Bros in there. Very cool track, could listen to this kind of music for hours on end. instant fav!!

Beautiful song Daniel. Sounds like a live jazz performance. Great job putting this together, all the instruments fit perfectly together, nothing is overpowering anything else and it's a great mix as well. Gotta dl and fav this, just a wonderful piece!

Elephant guitar, haha, never heard of such a thing till now but I believe I heard it in there, sooo cool Jamie. I'm sure that going to a place like Egypt must be such an inspiration to write some music to. Such a pleasure to listen to this, it put me there, right in the heart of Cairo.

Thanks for the listen Wayne! The Elephant guitar thing is something Adrian Belew does (as well as emulating various other animals on guitar), most notably on the track "Elephant talk" on the King Crimson album Discipline - thats where it can be heard done properly (lol).
Cheers, Jamie.

Very dramatic production and you can feel the tension throughout the song. Nicely produced track but it ends quite abruptly.

on WARGAMES by GHOSTthatcheR
The intro was very well done, it instantly created the feel you were trying to achieve with the intensity of war. I'm with ELSD on this one, war solves nothing.

The music was cool, it has a very structured mechanical feel to it like a machine, hopefully not a killing machine, haha. Ya, some good things in this, cool pads, liked the vocals, there is just enough of them.

on WIP Keylime Pie by DonnieVyros
Interesting track Donnie. I'm not well versed in this style of music but I really thought it was creatively put together. I liked the purcussion especialy the bongos, they're one of my favorite purcussion instruments. I thought the mix sounded good. Sorry if I can't help with the technical aspects of it but I thought it was a cool track. Well done, great listen.

No worries mate. This was one of those projects that got sidelined (as usual, haha). I was trying something different here (using numbers for notation). There's only a couple of other things I was thinkin about addin to it, but never did. The percs were chosen coz they added a fun element of flavor I thought. Glad ya dug it. Later on!

on Rain Drops and Puddles by GHOSTthatcheR
Hey man, nice to hear a new track by you. When I heard the intro I was wondering how this was going to tie into raindrops and puddles but when it kicked in I certainly understood where you were coming from. I can close my eyes and picture myself walking in the rain, hearing the rain and my feet splashing through the puddles. It is certainly a great mix and and a very nice song to chill out to.

dl and fav, thanks ThatcheR

Oh yea, this is quite a nice track. Cinematic to a large degree, I could hear this in a love scene or music to represent a passage of time. It really took me to a very relaxed place. Liked the bongos, used nicely. Great job with this one!

It is a very nice piece and does stir the emotions and combined with the lyrics it comes together nicely. Nice delay on the piano and the percussion is fitting. Look forward to hearing the vocals.

This is a bit different, like the beat. The bass sounds nice and full, I like it! Is there some tremelo on the guitar, that sounds cool as well. I like this, it's sleek and a bit on the mysterious side, very cool Stephane! Could you send it to me? Thanks!

Hey Wayne! Thanks for the kind words.Sometimes you just don't want to worry about the next epic tune and just try to have fun and play smooth guitar...maybe epic is next week.
Has anyone thought about or have put together an all guitar jam song with different players on the site...maybe some blues where every one adds a little of their own guitar flavor?I know we all seem to have our hands full at the moment but just wondering if it's been done.
Maybe in the future. Thanks again Wayne

The low synth, bass, reminded me of a Lenny Kravitz tune which I thought was pretty cool. I can't help you on the genre but it has potential with some cool vocals and a kickin mix. Great idea, hope you get someone to do some vocals!

ok, so the music is pretty tight and the vocals dance over them with such ease, really appropriate for the music, perfect. I like the effects on the vocals, a lesli or tremelo or something like that. Nice Ken, this could be on the airwaves!

on The Examined Life - Jumping into the Waters mix by n0mad23
There's something about the sound of water that I connect with so much. I was listening to this and closed my eyes and it felt as if I was paddling my kayak down a busy river. This is very cool, relaxing and inspiring! Great mix, fun listen!

I've got a think with the water, too - but for me it's the oceans and seas. Finally come to grips with the fact that I'm a Puget Sound boy, and feel like I'm home when my nostrils fill with the scent of hydrogen sulfide. I think that our bodies are largely composed of water is the other key. Thanks for both the review and the favorite - I'm feeling really flattered by this.
