ooooo, that organ you used sounds great and adds a lot. This is country or a close resemblance. Nice track, good balance on all the instruments, nicely played too! Well done Silvestre!!
I worked in my keboard making the organ loops and the acoustic guitar some of them with the electric guitar a frien of mind help me with the bass and we are looking foreward to add more loops to this
The music is very well put together, loved the drum track, not typical, very cool. And the sax was sweet too. Where did you get the vocal track? I don't think I've heard such a track before, gotta hand it to ya, this made me chuckle, ha!
Thanks for checking it out and fav. It's the first time I did such track. It was fun making it. I cracked up the first time I heard the vocal. I had no idea that's where she was going with it. thanks again.
I'm with the new program and I've done things with him. This song was finished with it. I wanted the sound of the strings for this lyric. Thanks friend for your words.
You have two great producers that you chose to work with, I recognise the music from their great tracks. The bird at the beginning of the song reminds me of when I kayak, I always hear that bird call, ha. Mix sounds pretty good and I love the sound of the bull roarers, nice job on this one.
Some interesting effects in this track. I liked the track overall, especially the very cool bass. Maybe a fade out would work for the ending, I'm only a little famimiar with fl but I think you can do that in edison.
Very catchy track Trax. I love that wobbly bassy synth that goes back and forth, man this is a cool track. I like how you incorporated AJ's vocal samples into the song. That wide twangy synth that's panning l and r is a bit cool too. What's not to like about this!
mmmm, mmmmm, good!! Love it just as much as I did the first time around! The drums are nice and right there, punchy. I am diggin this again, and again!!
This is pretty cool! There is a lot going on here to keep me interested and glued to my speakers. Mix sound great, things are spread out and not cluttered. Some of the sounds remind me of animals grunting, ha!
Thanks so much for allowing me to work with you Vicen, the pleasure was all mine. I loved the track from the first time I heard it! I don't think I'm the man of wonders, haha, hardly. You gave me a great track to work with, my part was easy.
The truth is that I like the song much more now than when you send it. I had my doubts about the song. When I hear the instruments that you will add, for the first time I considered it good to climb Looperman. So thanks again and it was the first test. Quite a record.
I like to use the waltz beat too, always makes the song sound different. You have a very strong voice and it is very nice to listen to. I like the track and agree with eshar that things coud be added to it but simplicity should never be underestimated. I think you are onto something here, nice track and welcome to the loop!
This one seems a little more upbeat in tempo than others I've heard from you. After hearing those tracks you sent the other day I am trying to picture your evolution from that to this and it all makes sense, I think, haha.
The title is so appropriate and as I'm listening to this I'm picturing in my mind little folk working furiously to this beat, it is a humorous thought to say the least. Like your other work this just has a great percussive and almost mystical feel to it. You have a unique quality that is mind boggling, I don't think I could make such a track, it's not in me but it lives vicariously in your spirit.
Yes, there's a thread of swampy psychedelia in the analog stuff that shifts into this approach as well. Figures you'd hear the "mystical" feel as well, and it was that that created the imagery of gnomes slipping through the veil into mundane reality. Once I had that, it was pretty obvious where the tune had to go next. Thanks for the listen and review, Wayne!
I'm trying to listen to more dubstep lately and get a grasp on it and when I hear a track like this one it makes me appreciate the genre even more. It seems like so much is possible. I like the track man, nice vocal samples, cool wobs for sure and a tight mix. Well done!
I had listened to this before but I think this time it really worked for me. I like "have a safe trip", ha! You really seemed to make the track I real mind trip and it evolved nicely, great job!
heya Wayne, thanks for your comment, techno rock sounds cool, but i guess i should get rid of ambient elements in there to make it more comprehendable as a whole. pleasure though, what a pleasure to work with sound.
neon.
Thanks for sharing this gem, so darn cool. Your music always grounds me in some way. A virtual feast for my ears. Man, I'm on play three right now, soaking it in like a sponge. Nice bass and rhythm, powerful to say the least.
You never seem to amaze me when I listen to your music and I can certainly appreciate all that went into making this. Ableton is quite the toy, so much fun and creativity happens when using it.
Ableton for me is really about doing it live. This one is no exception, and I always try to keep things under 10 or 12 track so that I can mix it all with my MIDI controller on the fly. What you hear is what I play - though recording samples of the instruments on hand requires a lot of assembling the elements first. I'd really love to be able to hit a club and perform this stuff live as it's recorded. Thanks for the listen and encouragement Wayne!
Thank you Wayne,Slap does make all the difference.
I guess it's in part that the style SpellJammer and I are doing lends it's self to the Sax so well, and that Slap is just sooo very awesome!
You have such a beautiful voice and the song itself is quite good. I would try remixing it, like eshar said some levels need to be adjusted. The vocals sound nice and out front, I think the music could be pumped up a bit.
You have a nicely spread out track as far as the panning is concerned, big in the stereo field, it gives room for the vocals so don't be afraid to turn the instrument levels up. I saw your post in the forums and figured I would give you my honest opinion. Good luck!
Dang, there are some nice chords in this, really beautiful track. You got the big guns adding some tracks? Can't wait to hear the next version! You played the piano tracks too? I'm just starting to play again after 30 years, very rusty but this sounds like you are pretty decent on them. This is a great track Jamie, thanks for sharing.
Pretty interesting track, has a lot of feels to it. Naming this is a tough task, it has a Japanese and Australian and some techno and some orchestration and some..... Nicely put together and prob tough too. Liked it, on play 2 now, hmmm, a name..... how bout, "Down Under the Cherry Blossoms", ha! Well I tried, enjoyed it a lot!
