on On My Own by Silvestre
I think the vocals are loud in places but the music is very well done. You should sing them in your own language, make it it easy on yourself. Plus I think vocals sound good in Spanish and will sound good here. Give this another remix and see if you can lower the vocals a bit and you will have a great track!

Take care!

Hey Wayne I just lower the volume and EQ the vocals little.

Thank you for the advise I will attempt to sing in spanish.

Sweet track, I really like the pace of this one. Nice percussion and minimal drums, it really opens up the track. This is really nice, thanks for sharing this gem!

On the baseball side of things, is that pitcher slower than the Red Sox's knuckleballer Tim Wakefield? lol!

Thanks Wayne,
The drums definitely drove this one.
Yea, Wakefield is really slow too.

on Alergic To Cardinals by Koukotsu
Sojobeast took the words right out of my mouth, "allergic to cardinals ?" haha! I do like how you used an everyday event for the title.

Hey K, this is cool, no complaints here. I'm sure if you rework it you could tidy things up but overall it is a very good song idea with some nice dynamics, well done!

Hi there!

I've been tweaking it a bit in my spare time today, but mixing this one is like trying to cram and elephant into a shoebox, lol.

Maybe a little more volume on this one. Good idea, cool acoustic guitar and singing. The idea is there, just needs some more production added to it. Hope you finish this one up, it has the potential to be a really good track. If you want any help mastering or in the production of this let me know, would be willing to help out.

on More (Phyruis Glitch Remix) - Elaine Sharp by Phyruis
This is working for me, I like the glitchiness of the drum pattern and Elaines voice is great with all the effects added to it. I had to give it a second listen because I liked it so much.

Is the cracklin sound I'm hearing at the beginning something that you added, giving it a record sound or is it just noise from the original track? I have some awesome noise reduction plugins in Audition that can remove almost any noise without damaging the desired input. If you ever need help with that just give me a shout. I've worked with several people here with noise reduction issues and I am throwing it out there so don't be afraid to ask, ok!

Great track, uplifting and well mixed, too cool, nice one PBJ! Think I'm gonna fav this one, would dl this if available, thanks!

I've always love the vocal choir when it's added to a track and to start the track and to have it continue right through really impressed me from an arrangement point of view. Beautiful and touching knowing it is for such a good cause. Great work WaPer!

Sorry for late reply man, i didn't get the notification about your visit to my page and for your review of this tune.
Man I'm so glad you like it. You know, what happened to Japanese people these days, i was in shock and whole thing was hit me badly, because everyone on this planet is no safe of bad power of nature... so this track is my only way to support them. poor people... in one moment they had everything, in another nothing.
Thanks for your kind comment my friend

Hey Simon, nice to see you back and uploading great tracks like this one. I also hear an Enya influence in there, not a bad thing, imo. A bit of mystery and darkness combined with hope and illumination, it works though!

I believe in my country we are regenerated every 40 years. I hope for the best.
Anyway, this is not the country that we wanted to leave to younger people. Everyone must contribute their bit to not to commit fatal errors. I can only express my opinion and remember parts of the story that my country has forgotten. A great man in my country said: The people who do not remember history are condemned to repeat it. "I hope it does not happen that way.
Another great man of your country said: "I sing this song, what can you do?"
Thanks for your review, it is always well received.

I was having internet connection problems this past week when I played this track so I never got a chance to hear it or comment. Now that I get a chance to listen I can say that this is impressive, I've listened to this several times already and enjoying it each time! Ya, really DV, make this one longer!!! Great idea, the cello in the middle was demanding my attention and the percussion and the high strings were holding it all together. Gonna dl and fav, sweet one!

Paul's music is wonderful (all he has done so). But I really just finished the lyrics, I thought Wayne is missing here. When two great musicians like you get together the result is great music. I have the honor of having worked with you a few times and have always done that my songs were better. I think we have a great musician and companion in Looperman: TheHumps.
Thanks.

Too cool!! Thanks for the heads up on this one, it's certainly something I dig with the folk music feel to it. Mix sounds good, new mic? It has a Decemberists feel to it. The melodica is great and I like the percussion, it adds a lot.

Good luck with the new project, you are off to a great start!

on illregulare by MLTPjames
Thick and heavy guitars, nice! I use Cool Edit as well. It's a great straight forward daw.

Another way to do what Mahloo suggests is to have two guitar rhythm tracks, pan one left and one right abou 50% to start. Then zoom in to the beginning of the first note and just slightly drag one of the tracks to the right just a small amount, offsetting the tracks by just a tiny bit. This will give a thicker and a bit delayed guitar sound, much fuller sound.

You can also use the effects rack and try the chorus plugin. Turn all the moduation sliders on the top of the plugin to the left so they don't have any effect to the track except for the spread slider. Then by using the 3 sliders on the bottom of the pugin, the stereo widening and effects wet and dry sider you can widen a track. I do that with a lot of my tracks.

Good luck and have fun! Cool track and any questions just ask!
