I like the thought behind the track. Very trippy and creatively put together. I agree with FR that the vocal should come out more but overall this is an interesting track and very cool to listen to.
Thankyou my friend for the listen and review. I'm glad that you found it creative, because that is where I'm trying to go with my music. I hear what you're saying about the vocals, but they're not the big part for me lol Anyways, thanks very much.
Great track, I love this kind of music. It has a Lucky Dube feel to it meaning it has a very positive upbeat Caribbean feel to it. Get work producing this around the awesome pella, Patricia is so talented. Sounds awesome, gonna dl this so thanks!
Your music really does capture deep dark emotions in a cinematic way. Loved the female vocal choir pads, nice touch. Impressive piece and sounds great as well. This has an orchestral influence for sure which in my opinion really hits the heartstrings and gets the blood pumping. Very cool track!
Thanks i was going for that type of music where it gets your blood pumping and I decided not to hold back on the vocals this time and go for that epic feeling. Glad you like it and thanks for the listen and comment have a good day and take care =)
You have a very pretty voice, nice backups as well. As I am listening it sounds like the vocals are only in the left channel though. I would suggest centering them to fit the stereo field a little better and it will sound fuller, imo. Other than that it's a nice composition and I enjoyed listening to it.
Cool track, I don't claim to know a lot about house music but I just liked the track. The vocals were effective and it was a track that would definitely get people on the dance floor.
Dang man, you have some talent putting a song together. This sets such a somber mood. Reminds me a bit of a Sarah Mcglachlan piece. Emotional and peaceful, intriguing and wonderful, just to give a few words to describe this. Thanks for sharing this!
Thanks ever so much for stopping by and commenting. I really appreciate it. It's a great vocal track and Amelia June has fantastic timbre to her voice. I was trying to be very careful I didn't destroy any of that in the process of producing the track. Glad you enjoyed it and thanks again.
Boy, I hear so many musical influences in this track from a few different decades. Nat's vocals are great and really open the door for such a track. Nice mix and quite a catchy tune. My only suggestion is a little more pop in the drum track. I think I will dl this one cuz it's just that good! Thanks. I'll check out some more of your material, impressed!
Yes there are many decades I can choose from for influence!! Not sure I understand what "a little more pop on the drums" means but I'll have another listen today and see what I can hear. All these decades of listening must be taking it's toll!! Thanks again.
Hey Allen, nice to hear a new one. Three talented people getting together on this one, pretty cool! Laid back and easy on the ears. What is Zoom? Never heard of that, a guitar effect or program I'd guess. I have to get myself a Tele someday, it is such a versatile instrument. Well done fellas, kudos to all!
Thank you Wayne,I hope you're feeling well.
This one is not really new but one that I haven't uploaded myself.Zoom is the Guitar Pedal I use before going into the recorder,it's an old habit that's hard to break for me but it does the job...I just have to deal with"pedal noise"..I just bury it in the track and no one hears it...so far!
Thanks again Wayne, your comments and advice have always been important and appreciated by me.
Allen.
Interesting track, I liked it. I agree with FR and it seems the guitar fills need to be a little louder in the mix. The chunky guitar could use something to get that to fit in better but it certainly doesn't mean it's a bad track, just needs some work on the mix, the idea is there. Good luck with it, cool track.
Pretty freakin' cool. Plenty to get into, the chants were nicely effected, if that is the proper way to describe it, lol. This would be cool for a movie soundtrack like in Bladerunner or some sci-fi flick. Everything sounds nice, impressive, gonna dl this so thanks a lot!
Hello Mate, I've been meaning to pop over your way, so i'm glad you could drop in and check out my attempt at something slower.
Yeah that Indian "Chanting". It's a free loop hidden away in the miscellanious files, in FL studio (they named it indian chant, i just went along with it). I've tried to use it a few times but this time it just seemed to fit perfectly, without actually having to do a lot except start it at the right time so, result really!
Anyway cheers for listening.

Hey my friend, good to hear a new one! Nothing wrong with a blues style rock song. I think we share some of the same memories in those bars, if I could only remember them, lol! That's an interesting slap-back on the vocals. I like the horns and that honky tonk piano, very cool. Nice one Vicen
I remember a second floor in a bar, where I had to bend it but my head touched the ceiling. Everything was full of smoke and brought us a container containing a liquid gold called tisane of champagne. We sang, Spanish rock and roll until dawn and the voices could have aroused the entire city and have made the second flood ...
Thank you friend.
Hey Bill, this one is great, nicely constructed track. I only wish some of the leads were a bit more in front in the mix. You always seem to demonstrate how well you can determine the perfect instrumentation in a track. A little too early for a drink but I enjoyed it just the same.
Glad I waited till the end to start typing, nice fx. Interesting topic for sure, kinda reminds me of music by a band called Brand New Heavies, acid jazz band is what I would call them. Really a bunch of goodness happening here, except for the main character the track is about, hehe. Nicely put together and mixed, always a pleasure!
Usually when I hear drum and bass it is at 100 mph so this is quite unexpected. I like the tempo, it opens it up for some cool experimentation with the bass. I like the vocal pads you used, subtle but still effective.
Yeah I like drumstep because it works at the tempo of drum and bass, but uses a half time feel. Gives the song some breathing room! Glad you could get into my first try at a genre. Thanks for the comments friend!
The Rhodes is a nice foundation, really ties all the instruments together. Very cool track, reminds me of the 70's. Don't ask me to do the Tomahawk dance, I would probably scalp myself, lol. Nice track, well done!
This sounds great and is such a catchy track. I like all the different variations of reggae that is around these days. Nice recording as well, sounds really nice and clean. Always a pleasure!
Thanks Wayne, I appreciate your kind words. Way back in the eighties I wrote this kind of music for my band – greatly influenced by Dag Vag's front man Stig Vig. And I still love this type of punkish non roots reggae so it was nice to do this hommage to the man that was my main inspiration back in the days.
Again, thank you for the kind review.

I have to agree with the others about a very cool bass riff and sound. Liked the rhythm and guitar leads in this, very well constructed sound. I think Nuada has a good suggestion about making the last rhythm guitar strum echo, I agree it stops suddenly. All you need is Roger Daltry to sing on this and you have a hit on your hands. Great job!!
Hey Vicen, nice pop song. Your vocals sound right out front and are nice and clear, great job recording them. Maybe a bit more reverb to set them in the mix a bit more. I liked the instruments you chose for this, it has a positive upbeat feel but it is simply stated as far as the music goes. To me that is a very good combination, the right instruments in the right amount. I really liked this, great job!
The voice mixing with the rest of the music is really my ear has not yet mastered (every time I do it differently). I'm glad you liked it. It was a simple melody, but I liked from the first moment and I would not add anything more. I'm glad you liked it.
Such a classic song and I really wondered how a woman's voice would sound singing this but I am pleasantly surprised. You did a great job with the vocals and the music is a little more modern. It really is a nice cover, hat's off to you and your beautiful voice!
I just listened to Michael Stokes' remix of this track so I just had to listen to your original. I must say this is a very good track, catchy beat, cool vocals, and put together nicely. Great job!
Interesting choice to fade in and out the beat/percussion, a unique approach to a dance track for sure. Panning the individual tracks is a nice touch and adds an element of interest to an overall sparse and minimal track. I liked it, dance is not a genre I know a lot about but it was very cool and made me listen a few times to soak it all in.
Yeah, that indiv pan stuff was another experiment I though I'd try playin with again here. The minim angle was mainly for the vox stuff done for this. Glad ya dug it. Later on!
Hey Dave, it's always great to hear a new one from you. This is a really sweet piece, much like the rest of your tracks. Great intro, equally great ending. The mid/ending started to go in a slightly different direction like Ensam mentioned, kinda wished it hadn't stopped. I agree with Toonz, vocals would be a nice touch but that being said, it still is a nicely produced instrumental.
Hey Wayne...great to see you back online mate, that must have been a real bummer moving.....I was in two minds about this track...I dearly would have liked to get a singer onboard and no doubt the song would have had a more linear aspect (since I got this 12 string it puts you in song writing mode every time you pick it up)...I guess I better pay more attention to that in future (jeez I wish I could sing, but I sound like a deflating ballon!lol)...thanks for the kind review mate!..cheers Dave :)
Such a great tune, everything about this song is right on the money, from the performance to the production. The both of you work so well together, very professional job guys! Always a pleasure listening to your tracks Gord.
I would love to hear this with vocals on it as it has a nice catchy beat and rhythm to it. I'm not familiar with Rihanna but if you say she would be magic on it than I believe you! I think it has a slight reggae feel with the synths coming in on the 2 and 4 beat, nice job!
