Hey Simon, nice to see you back and uploading great tracks like this one. I also hear an Enya influence in there, not a bad thing, imo. A bit of mystery and darkness combined with hope and illumination, it works though!
Nice one, very enjoyable, loved the percussion, congas and such.
Thanks Wayne, yeh just trying to quietly feel my way back into the Loop. This one was one of the tracks I had posted before just been remixed and mastered.
Thanks for the kind words and being the Humps.....
I believe in my country we are regenerated every 40 years. I hope for the best.
Anyway, this is not the country that we wanted to leave to younger people. Everyone must contribute their bit to not to commit fatal errors. I can only express my opinion and remember parts of the story that my country has forgotten. A great man in my country said: The people who do not remember history are condemned to repeat it. "I hope it does not happen that way.
Another great man of your country said: "I sing this song, what can you do?"
Thanks for your review, it is always well received.
Fresh intro, this is sweet Jamie! I've been trying to embrace midi technology more recently and every time I hear a new one by you it always inspires me as to what us guitar and bass players can put down now. This is a keeper, loved the choo choo!
I was having internet connection problems this past week when I played this track so I never got a chance to hear it or comment. Now that I get a chance to listen I can say that this is impressive, I've listened to this several times already and enjoying it each time! Ya, really DV, make this one longer!!! Great idea, the cello in the middle was demanding my attention and the percussion and the high strings were holding it all together. Gonna dl and fav, sweet one!
That stinks bud, were you able to figure out what was causing the probs? As for the track, I was thinkin along the lines of Dropkick Murphys meets KMFDM or something. Will def expand on this in a few days. Glad ya dug it. Later on!
This is a cool interpretation of dnb, liked your approach here! Liked all the percussive instruments you used. I think the vocals could use a bit of mixing towards the end but I think this is very good on so many levels. I'm gonna dl and fav this! Thanks Felix!
The drums sound great, clear, low thumpy kick. I hope someone uses this for something. Dnb isn't my genre of choice but those who do produce it should give this a go. Nice one DV!
Prech that mate. Only downside to it is that I mixed it with headphones so when I relistened to it the next day I found that the mix was a little too hot. Anyways, glad ya dug it. Later on!
I must say it was a pleasure to work with you again. Paul did a great job writing the song and I think this one is a favorite of mine. Thanks again for letting me be a part of this track!
Paul's music is wonderful (all he has done so). But I really just finished the lyrics, I thought Wayne is missing here. When two great musicians like you get together the result is great music. I have the honor of having worked with you a few times and have always done that my songs were better. I think we have a great musician and companion in Looperman: TheHumps.
Thanks.
Too cool!! Thanks for the heads up on this one, it's certainly something I dig with the folk music feel to it. Mix sounds good, new mic? It has a Decemberists feel to it. The melodica is great and I like the percussion, it adds a lot.
Good luck with the new project, you are off to a great start!
Hi my friend!
Yeah,I borrowed my son's melodica for this one and I like the sound of it.It's still my old mic but I changed the settings.
Speak to ya soon

Great feel to this one all the way through but what is to be expected from a "super group" like the one you compiled here. Quite a reaction to this track after one day being up, just amazing how very cool this track is. What can I say that hasn't been said already. Great job everyone!!
Hey Wayne..thanks buddy,it was a blast working on this track,it just shoehorned together so smoothly...hopefully we'll be able to get a few more under our belts before too long...cheers from all the guys. Dave :)
Thick and heavy guitars, nice! I use Cool Edit as well. It's a great straight forward daw.
Another way to do what Mahloo suggests is to have two guitar rhythm tracks, pan one left and one right abou 50% to start. Then zoom in to the beginning of the first note and just slightly drag one of the tracks to the right just a small amount, offsetting the tracks by just a tiny bit. This will give a thicker and a bit delayed guitar sound, much fuller sound.
You can also use the effects rack and try the chorus plugin. Turn all the moduation sliders on the top of the plugin to the left so they don't have any effect to the track except for the spread slider. Then by using the 3 sliders on the bottom of the pugin, the stereo widening and effects wet and dry sider you can widen a track. I do that with a lot of my tracks.
Good luck and have fun! Cool track and any questions just ask!
right on thank you. I tried what you both suggested and mahaloo13 was dead on the money. im going to post the results in a bit. If you guys have tracks you would like to use me on let me know. I am always down with making music.
Hey Slap, imagine if we had this technology when we were kids just getting into music....... Sounds like the apple hasn't fallen far from the tree, way to go guys, sounds great. You never seem to disappoint!!
Hi Wayne, I wonder how far technology will have advanced when Alexander reaches my age! Ipad is an awesome piece of kit which can cater for all interests due to it's extensive apps. I would have loved to have one of these when I was younger, but alas I had to make do with Pacman! lol...
Very cool FF!! Love the latin feel and especially the horns. I agree with Fani, I think if you add some percussion like timbali and some other latin percussion instruments here and there it would help. Kinda a crossover latin/techno genre, run with it, great idea!!
Wow, this is a cool track, glad I checked this one out! I'd dl it it you had it set for that so I will fav it for sure. The mix seems a little bright, that's my only constructive comment, I'll make about this one. Great job!
yeah your right need a bit more compression thanks alot for the comment and the advice.. please dont hold back! I need all the constructive help I can get!
All the sounds were great in this one, what a fiest for my ears! This sounds great, nice use of the whole freq band. On play 2 now... Plenty of changes and everything flows perfectly. I think I'm gonna dl and fav this too, thanks man for sharing!
Pretty cool track, loved all the slide guitar in it. This would be a hit with some vocals on top, not that is isn't cool the way it is. Mix sounds great, lovin' it! Reminds me of the SuperSuckers when they do their country albums, now you just need Eddie Spaghetti to sing for you!!(he's the singer in that band)
With the protests going on in your country I am not surprised to hear a song like this from you. I liked the horns especially. Bluesy, gritty, emotional, just great, loved it!
In Spain we seek new ways in this new century. Still unknown as they are, but we want to find. We have woken up, but there are many shadows on the road. Thanks for your comments (I too love those horns). Bittersweet for my city.
A real crossover hit you've created here. Cool blend of sounds.
The music played for about a minute and a half but the track length was 3 and a half minutes. Just letting you know there was a large amount of silence on the track. No biggie but I figured I'd let you know.
There's a great feel and funk to this track. Great job putting this together. The organ sounds are classic and I have a collab going now with a lesli/hammond sound, just great!! Always a pleasure stopping in and hearing your music!
This is very cool, the vocals fit pretty good. Guitar tone sounds great too. Maybe double up the guitar and pan one left, one right, might fill things up more. Liked the track!!
The dude can sing!! Nice performance, wish I was there to watch him put down the track. Picturing a smokey, beer stained carpeted, dank booth with a bottle of Jack somewhere in arm's length. A man can only dream, lol!
Nice one, it's amazing when the right vocals sit on top an interesting music track. I'd try some more mixing, I think there's a better in there somewhere but the song itself is great! Man, I've heard some great tracks posted today, vintage day on the loop!
This is very sweet, glad I gave this a listen! The first dnb song that I've heard that came with a more subdued approach. I don't listen to a lot of this genre but I must say this is quite good, imho!
lol I hear yah on that one, most are hardcore because they're considered rave but then again DnB is also a really great background sound if it's used properly.
I'll hit one of your tunes up!
