I initially thought the idea of starting a project that was all about space funk would get on everyone's nerves after a while, but it seems to be going quite well. I didn't consciously think of native american music at any point but I can see why you did. Hiya Wayne! I knew using the term barfly would be loaded for certain listeners, haha! I identify, thats for sure — fav scene was stumbling into the wrong apt and raiding the fridge. The real genesis of the song was a matt johnson/the the short film that robin had me watch a year or so ago that opened with a long long take of a damaged individual before launching into this is the day. Can’t find a link to that for some reason.
Anyway, you got every wavelength i aimed for. Thanks from the heart for listening, man!

I (Micky) personally am very happy that the description could contribute something to the imagination, because at first I was unsure whether it made any sense at all. But it sure is a good substitute if you don't have a video to convey what you had in mind while composing. Oh god I can't even think about how much a video for our tracks would cost... the spacey stuff.

thanks Wayne, yes i find it quite meditative myself. i wonder if somehow our minds realise that the sound source is comes from something physical rather than electronic like from a synth, and that helps with the vibe?

Thank you, Wayne. Refrigerated bananas are tricky, as I'm sure you know, because if you don't eat them right away when you take them out of the cold, they turn black rather quickly, and squishy. I can eat a somewhat squishy banana but only with a crunchy accompaniment like peanuts or pepitas. I also have a TinySong about peanuts and several about trailmix where I've worked out the finer details of these foods. I'll be reporting back shortly, tune-wise, with some of those important learnings.

Thank you, Wayne, and good luck with the doctors! I have had many ear infections and many poor ear doctors, so be careful! If your hearing is diminished, it may be because you have fluid in your eustachian tube, something a competent doctor can deal with easily but an incompetent doctor will misdiagnose as permanent hearing loss. So be careful and good luck!

I have a monkey hat that I sometimes wear to remind me of where we came from. Just kidding. I wear it to amuse my grandkids.
The past is interesting to learn about because it's always changing. Or, that is, our understanding of it is.
I'm interested in the sunken continents like Beringia and Doggerland. I believe they're rich with ancient settlements, artifacts and bones that would completely change our human storyr, but we can't get to them as they're underwater. It always amazes me that, the more we know, the less we know. Everything I learned in school is now wrong. But, I guess, that just keeps it interesting.
