I like this track. I think opening the possibility of any genre appearing in one track is exciting and refreshing. This track shows your ability to take a simple cord progression, make it complex and lavish then break it back down and bring it back home.
Thank you!
Actually, i think this is one my most complex works ever despite the mediocre number of applied loops...Only thing made me a little sad the sound quality of a few loops (too noisy). But still one of my fav. I love the sad-funny mood coming out of it. :)
Btw, sorry for the late reply...
I love this track; I wish more players would expand their sound by not being a slave to the genre titles and styles in their compositions. You morphed your way through at least four if not five different genre’s. Sounds like you’ve freed your mind and your sound. Thanks for sharing.
First off I love the composition and drive of this track. Personally I would have used the "Sitar"or "Marimba"voice @ 1:03 the more modern voice @ 1:57 then the Synth @ 2:37 of the track. I felt like the mood you were setting up had a Middle Eastern, Arabian night feel to it.Perhaps I'm reading too much into it but, I think it would have added to the continuity of the track. IJS. Thx for sharing this track.
I'm really feelin it.
BTW... I deliver, assemble and demonstrate medical equipment. Small world. LOL
Hahaha we are colleagues, in music and work.
Thanks for listening so attentive! The sound of that melody is defined by something that i forgot to say, all the track (and all the Ep that im going to release in one week) is made based on samples from the FM radio of my country, that one is from a Jewish community, and is chopped etc, (the first time its one 8ve down) the synth after that is based on the resultant melody.
Maybe it would be better to change the order, i was trying to have suprise and making the change of the texture over the same musical idea.. i don't know, things that i imagine when i'm producing.
Thanks again for your deep listening and analysis!
Cheers!
Today is my first day on this site. Your track energized the crap out of me.I guess that's ironic for a blues piece. This track is the only one that made me get on my keyboard and play along.BTW...I made a killer BB King style guitar accompaniment for this track. Your track should be on the radio.IJS.
