Rob! When the music in our hearts and heads gotta have expression, sounds coming from anywhere will trigger them. With me it can be a sample or a synth preset. That's why what we do is therapeutic. Late reply - just hit the road with the whanau up to the North Island for holiday + surf competition + family so been a bit hectic. Yeah, the new rig is pretty much the same. The good thing about setting up a new system is you clean out a lot of plugins that you don't really need. I have my go-to's though, particularly my fairly rudimentary mastering chain and that's what matters most. Thanks heaps from the upside down.

Its certainly been a while since we last spoke.
Yes, getting older comes with its ailmentswhich is hard enough, though I could reasonably accept that part.
But after a fall outside an airportjust as Id returned from a holiday in SpainI ended up going straight to the operating table. Its hard to accept that the fall would have such a severe and prolonged aftermath.
My passion for music was still there even in the ambulance; after
theyd administered ketamine, I shouted, "Hey, you're playing my beat!" But my daughter later told me it was actually the heart rate monitorlol. Thanks for your kind words and the compliment, Jynxz.

Rob. Thx for the continued support on this musical journey. The remastering/improvement Ive learned is just as pertinent as creating a track.

The motivation behind this remaster is that process of continual improvement. Ive been using Elysias Alpha V2 buss compressor. Its intimidating to look at, but Im learning why something sounds great. This compressor forces me into a new learning curve. Thanks as always for the feedback!

Yeah me and Pseudoble do seem to connect somehow. We've done many colabs and both often contributed things to each others work.

And yeah I'm trying to age gracefully but am in some danger of becoming a grumpy old man. There's lots to be grumpy about at the moment tho so maybe it's justified!
