The first time you used it in this track was at 23sec. I don't think it was a snare/rim, altho that's an excellent tip.

Ha, I was hoping you would comment again because right after I replied the first time, I figured out what you meant. :)

For the tape drag effect I just applied a stock pitch plugin (in Garageband) and didn't do anything to it at all. I then went into the automation on that track and pulled a curve down on the pitch just where I wanted it to slow down. I hope that made sense. :)

Thanks so much for your time and feedback I appreciate it! I don't recall what I used specifically but if you are referring to the snare/rim click sound, I think I may have used 3 different samples (two snare sounds and 1 rim click, or something like that), I also remember purposely not lining up one of them on the beat so it created like a delay effect. Hello koga100,
Wow... I am literally in the process of posting a track with "spoken word" in it. Lately everyone seems to be posting "singing" so I thought spoken word for a change, and it seems you beat me to it. Bravo!
My feedback on this track would be that it needs a "bottom". The Synth work and the Drum needs to have more bass. In fact I think a Bass guitar line playing against a Drum and your Synth would "activate" the drive this track needs to sound powerful.
BTW... Keep in mind the last Electronic music I listened to was "Devo" and "Gary Newman" LOL...

Bowie is my lord & savior. Over the decades I've listened to his work more than any other artist that's ever existed. I broke down into tears when I heard he had passed away. It was the hardest I ever took a celebrity's death, or ever will. Comparing anything I do to his work is a HUGE compliment for me to receive. Thank you so much for that. This has got to be the best compliment I've ever gotten on this site.
