What's up Mark,
You know it's not a party
until I get your verdict. You
know that you are the one that
put the "oddball rhythm" thing in
my head back when we first started
using SD3. I got so hooked on oddball
Drum beats that I started transposing it
into Vocals and all the other instruments.
I'm pretty sure it will take a 12 step program
to get me off it lol. I really appreciate it every
time you stop by and give my tracks a listen. I
try my best not to forget anything that you've taught
me over the past many many years about music and life.

I think the 70's-80's music
made a imprint on me that
I can't shake off (don't want to).
I feel like the old-school writers /

their soul, not for likes but for the art.

I've been working on getting a certain crisp sound without losing the punch on the Bass for a while. I've probably start/stopped this track for at least a couple of years. Finally just had to get it out of my system.

This is me experimenting with playing Bass lines in reverse. The Bass jump @ 1:40 is the Bassline going forward. I felt like I got 2 for 1 out of that Bass sample lol.

What's up Mark,
Studio 1 DAW Yamaha 73 key (no controller-yet)
I can remember having so much hope, and even more
energy. This is back when you first turned me on to Looperman.
I mostly played all the instruments because the S1 sample libarary
was the worst. I was sure that by now I would have it all figured out.
Now I really get "It's the journey, not the destination"
I'm going to try to re-Master this track. I dont have
the project folder or stems. I might try a "stem separator".
I feel like my "Healing" is has just about run it's course.
I've missed talking to you and Big Ant. I feel that my
healing had to come from the inside out. I could
be wrong (won't be the first or last time lol)
I am liking where I am now tho.

What's up Mark, I know exactly what your'e talking about (The Jam). I get hooked on the Clav and need a 12 step program to get off of it lol. It would sound perfect in that change tho.
I'm still trying to put together my pre-set template band. I've pretty much got my template for Drum,Bass and Key pre-set. I'm still working on my Guitar and Synth, I hope to have them all together soon.
I'll tell Micky you gave him a shout out for the Bass. I'm not sure if he has heard the track. I've shot different ideas for that Bass stem to him for a couple of years lol.

You just brought back memories for me, a former band mate that isn't with us anymore. I made a sample of him saying "Yeah" I use it every chance I get on my tracks. It makes me feel like he's still in the band. Thanks...

Wow! Thank you for the aid and assist.
I stored most of the VSTs that I use most
on a external storage drive, I just had to find
it. I really needed to downsize my VSTs anyway.
400+ VSTs is actually a cry for help, lol I really only
use 40 or 50 of them with any consistancy honestly.
Man, you don't know how great it feels to know that
you would help me re-build my setup. If there is any way
I could help you don't hesitate to ask.
