Description : ..one of my recent efforts..epic in length..not certain where to classify chill..fusion..experimental..many elements from many genres..the premise being the folks you encounter in the wee hours on the city streets..the 'nightcrawlers'..i attempted to recreate the emotional response to some of these late night/early morning encounters..

This chill out track was uploaded by cait. They retain full copyright and you are only entitled to listen and in some instances download. For further details on how you can use tracks see the terms and conditions and the tracks section of the help area.

Wow Cait this is really something. I love the idea behind it too. That apprehensive, cautiously stepping bass remains throughout and certainly encounters many other, sounds or, wanderers of the night. I will cherish this dearly. Thank you so much.

Love your work, I agree, the percussion is enchanting. Awesome track man.

AstralRaven 18th Sep 2010 22:20 - 16 years ago

This tracks so exotic and enchanting. I'd enjoy driving to this sort of music. The drums and percussion sound really complex, i wish i could make beats like this. Good work!

Hi, I am brand new to this site. This is hip and very impressive! I'd really like to know how you did it... thanks for the inspiration and the groove.

cait replied Unknown - 2028 years ago

..why thanks!..i use ableton live 7 and an m-audio midi controller and an old laptop..as is my custom i trawl for samples..find one that spawns an idea and then start layering..i write a few bits and bobs and sample heavily..this was a jam initially..that's why it's so long! ('',)

I am frickin loving this! Its just a great groove - makes me want to take the day off and just get lost in music! It is its own little vacation - and I am a big fan of mixed genres and experimental - thanx for this - downloaded for sure!! Great work here

cait replied Unknown - 2028 years ago

..now that's what i call feedback!..cheers mate..most everything i do falls into the 'experimental' category..just learning every day..very pleased it worked for you!

daymonpenick 17th Sep 2010 18:52 - 16 years ago

cait replied Unknown - 2028 years ago

It has to be a great song to keep my attention for this long but I enjoyed it to the very end. I was playing along with it on my acoustic, changes key a couple times. Enjoyed it, loved the bass track! Very cool, dl and fav! I like the idea behind the song as well.

hi mate, strange blend of genres im hearing!? sounds like a small mix by a DJ, hard to place in any one genre!! but interesting all the same, some nice chilled elements and also some nice deep house sounds!! nice work any way!!

cait replied Unknown - 2028 years ago

..haha! indeed a very strange blend mate..and i am a retired deejay making beats as a hobby..so i experiment..a lot..it's where i like to be..delighted with your feedback!..cheers!
