This is a super promising track. The vocal is not the most exciting, but your Depeche Mode like synths make it work really well, kudos to you.
Except... I feel you can bring more excitement to it by introducing a break or variation, something to play a bit with the listener before getting to the end.
I'm not sure what it needs, that's up to you as the artist, but I feel you can probably do it :)
Great work man!
Sehr gut gemacht! I like that you didn't stuck with the obvious chords but went aore interesting route. Really good, and you left the stage to her fantastic voice. 10/10 would play again ;)
The track is very cool and soothing. The saxophone is good... But if I'm really honest I think it can be even stronger.
Part of that could be making it stand out more in the mix, maybe have a bit more of that "soaring" sound, maybe make the solo a bit more exciting... Just saying I think if you give it 10% more you can make it even better.
Love the track, lovely sounds. Well done!
This one has a very strong beat, and it's definitely pleasant to listen to, but I have to say "Girl you are my fire" is a lot more mature as a song.
When you play keyboards (or however you inputed it), be careful that it doesn't sound too much like the 1-finger method; I think you play something like E-F-A-G which works, but then you go up to -B-C and then not only doesn't fit the "mode", it's also a bit too... simple? Make it more surprising and exciting.
Anyway, I think you have something good here, but both "girl" and "Something" which I'm listening to in the background as I write this are stronger, so I know you can make it even better!
Good luck man. Please take this as constructive criticism, I like it :)
Very nice and chill track. Perfect for a windy Friday morning when you're still not fully awake despite 2 cups of tea and one coffee.
So, I love it; one thing that could make it even better is if you would have some break or countermelody or variation about say two-third way in (say around the 2:28 mark?) But great song regardless and I'll check out some more of your work!
That's pretty good! I know that flow, where everything is working, all goes smooth, you can get your ideas straight and all instruments are doing what you wanted, and sometimes you're indeed done in an hour, and that's an awesome feeling.
I just know that if I then listen a second time a couple days later, I often find some things I want to improve ;)
Consider it! It's good, but there are of course some rough edges. Never hurts to take a bit of sandpaper and polish and make it even better ;)
The truth is that I do this while I'm at work and I'm using Ableton 11 DEMO so I can't save the projects but just a "resampling".
Listening again I also notice many things that I could have done better but now it's too late because the project has been lost :(
But it doesn't matter, I like so much to working with music in this way: the first take is the good one XD
Dude! This is awesome!
I was browsing through your tracks and I like almost all of them, but this one jumped out at me as being extra special.
Loads of references - I think I'm getting a Spyro Gyra vibe - but holy funk this is very professional.
I'm off to listen to your other tracks!
Very musical, I like this a lot. I think you can make it even better if you improve the mix even more. You have loads going on (which I love), but that means you need to be a bit careful with all the parts vying for attention, and a good mix (which I'm terrible at) can help you.
Anyway, love it, I'm off to listen to more of your work!
Oooh, you almost lost me at the start, and then it really took off. Maybe you need to work a bit more on the first 12 seconds, so there's more of a crescendo towards the meat and bones of the song - because that's totally worth it. Well done again.
It's good; I think it would be a great track to sing or rap to. See if you can find an acapella or make it available for download for the people who want to do that?
