I'm not as critical of the drums of Danke, but he has an actual drummer in the band and I'm just an amateur ;) but yes, in a song like this they could definitely be heavier.
All in all great job, totally enjoyed it!

I try to do as much as I can without plugins (my laptop isn't powerful enough), but:
- izotope for mastering
- sometimes graylon for a spot of autotune
- I recently discovered Spitfire which has fairly convincing strings.

It's definitely fun, and you worked in an interesting way with the 5/4th, in some parts more or less working around it, sometimes high-lighting it. I like the somewhat medieval sound you achieved in parts.
Regarding the one-synth challenge, I'd not heard about that before but I suppose you use only... One... Synth? :D
I think you made full use of it, but if you let go of it, I think you can make it more interesting. I'd definitely welcome a bit of that guitar, either some power chords towards the end or a good solo!

But I'm also a strong believer in finding a balance between having unfinished stuff, and never finishing stuff, if you get what I mean. Better is the enemy of good :)

Jenna has a great voice, I've also used one of her Acapellas in the past and ever since I'm a fan.
I really like what you did here, by slowing it down you really made it fit the tone of your electro tune.
Great retro vibe on it and strong mix where each element has a clear place.

Haha nice! It sounds a bit like a ringtone, but definitely a fun ringtone, well done!

Your guitar playing is fine. Unfortunately your mic is a bit rusty and something is resonating too much so that it's really hard to hear your lyrics - which is a shame because from what I hear I think you have a really nice voice!
Consider recording in 2 tracks: one for the guitar, one for the vocal, then mixing it, and make sure you have sufficient distance from the mic (or your iPhone or whatever you used) so you don't overload it.
I think it's a really sweet song and in order to ensure people hear it sometimes it helps to pay some attention to those details ;)

Well done. Great drums, which I think you played live? Really fits with the track.
The only tiniest improvement point I could think of is that the "piano" is now all notes at the same volume; it could feel slightly more dynamic if you might have a touch sensitive keyboard so you can accentuate some notes and play other softer.
But lovely tune, also liked your other tracks!

Awesome track. One thing though, I'm listening on crappy inner ear phones, but it sounds to me like it could be clipping/distorting in the louder parts. Maybe you want to check that, but otherwise really enjoyed this!!

I didn't know the original so did a quick compare. I have to say that I really love the sound and vibe of the original (I love that 80s soul sound) but your dubstep rhythm definitely adds a new dimension.

Good processing on the vocals; I'm not a fan of too many effects but I think you hit the sweet spot, and the other layers all work well with it. Top notch!

Lovely sound, I actually started physically moving to the beat and I had a yuuuuuuuuuuuge smile on my face. But man, you need a vocal on this, whether rap or sang, it deserves it.

I hear loads of stuff here,but there's also bits you might be able to improve on. Hear me out.
The idea of Gregorian chants and DnB is very cool. Other bits clash though; the "bell" like sounds (first I thought the nutcracker and then I realised l... Harry Potter?) after 0:15 and 2:10 are interesting but have too many dissonants.

The bit from 2:35 is very different from what came before, and I applaud you for that - in general the whole track is very ambitious, and I like that. But I do think you might be able to make it more one story; try to think what the core of your song is, and build up to that. If that road has detours, then great, as long as the listener feels you know where you're going.
