I have no idea why but I kept thinking about the movie Days of Thunder during this one lol. I think it's the guitar. Either way it's awesome.

I love the sound of that guitar; it has such a realistic sound... I also really liked the subtle way the keyboard accompanies it in the background.
Pure feeling in your performance.
Congratulations.
Best regards, Juan Carlos
(I'm sure that's not what you meant, but for the avoidance of doubt, I play all instruments including the drums)
If you want to see it, you can see me play it here :)

I have come to listen to your music after the review of our song, which I thank you for.
I am highly pleased with this track. I loved it. I will take my time and keep listening to your music. This is surely a favorite.

I am not following things on Instagram as closely as I used to, and Threads only from the sidelines. But I did see this action, and I think it is a good one it brings new impulses to your work, which I have always appreciated a lot.
The song has a very clear structure. It builds, rises, reaches its peak, and then slowly settles again.
For me it feels like a bow under tension: the more you pull the string, the more it bends. And when the arrow is released, it returns to its original form it does not break.
So I do not hear anything falling apart. I hear a crossing over a mountain peak.
Those are the thoughts your track evokes in me.
Apart from that, the song is simply wonderful.
Your guitar work is outstanding. It is a slightly different style than what I usually know from you, but it fits you perfectly.
Great work.
Warm greetings,
Manuela

I'll check with the looperdevs, it might be an anti-spam feature or maybe a tiny bug. Let's see!

The melodies... I just jam until I hit something I like. Then the next day I check if still like it and if so, it's a keeper. No idea where there come from !
The chords is something I do on purpose. I have a special love for certain type of chord modulations, and I try to surprise myself every time. If I think I know where it's going, then there's probably a better solution ;)
for the mix, I'm learning! I used to have everything more or less in the same register but as I get more experienced I think I get a better feel for using different areas of the musical spectrum.
It doesn't always work, but when it does I think it also makes for better tracks :)
on Chrysalis - This is what it is by BaoBou
I felt that this is sometimes how we grow as musicians or producers. We eat as much as we can, we learn, we try everything, maybe it's ugly, maybe it's hairy, but the wings of the butterfly are already present.
Sometimes all we need is a bit of time to reconsider, grow, rearrange our ideas, try something new and suddenly the chrysalis opens and a wonderful butterfly comes out.
I'm not that butterfly yet... but who knows what might happen and how I can grow in the future. For now I'll keep eating ;)
