Those pulsating pads - to die in ecstasy for! In listening to Rave tracks, this is exactly what I had in mind. The drums certainly could have more presence, but that's a minor point in the overall impression of this piece. Three people are in my living room as I write this, and everyone is either tapping feet or bobbing heads. All validating what I already feel about this one. Very, very nice!
This does have a bit of that New Wave flavor - I think where it works best is how your vocals weave it all together. Love the effects you've processed your voice through. Very, very cool track!
The title is perfect with this one - so breezy and light it's easy to drift away while listening. Great choice with improvisation here, as the sax both carries the melody, and the spirit of the song. The spirit here wouldn't have full voice if it was a fixed melody. Very nice.
I like this - the title combined with the sound brings images of strange circus performance pieces. I can see this as the soundtrack for several different themes. Nice one.
In West Africa, there's a genre called "Modern/Traditional" that this is really reminiscent of. Definitely a brilliant fusion of old and new musical forms. I really like this!
Very nice. At times there's so much going on, but it all weaves together brilliantly. Love how you pull back and give it space at times, too. Great choices, and good mix! Cheers.

I guess it's not very "mainstream"... and that's a good thing I hope.

Music is cool, as it's not an abstract language, so different "dialects" (genres) can speak together and still make sense.
This is very, very cool! The fusion of very different genres is entirely seamless, and it makes something memorable and unique.
Faved.
