on Im letting go by RitajustRita
What happend with you? Im just away for 6 months and you are reborn. The mix is another level, very professionel. I low how you set the bass and and overall balance of layers. You touched my soul, I'm crying because of happiness. when I listened to your demo around february, i knew there is something special inside you. I feel the same as Paul. I'm haunted by this track.... mirrors are lying...your songwriting impresses me a lot. Love from a banana

Hi Banana
So that's all happening in your absence, lol.
From beats to singing.
Your comment touched me.
So sweet of you.
I also think it's a miracle that I can sing this when I feel the right vibe.
Because I've also sung songs just because I wanted to sing, but they're not special because I didn't feel them at the time.
I sang along with you on two of your songs, but I've since deleted them because I wasn't sure if you approved.
Right now, I'm in Spain for eight days, drinking cocktails with my daughter, lol. No music for a while, but I'll be back.

Wild track, thank you for welcoming me back. I'm in for a strange collaboration again it was pure fun. I'm not a metal vocalist, but the last months I incorporate growling session into my daily routine. The mix is great, well balanced and focused. Enough air to let it breath.

on ITS THE PRICE by klmr29
Great professionel mix, bass is in the pocket and gain/saturation is on point. It carries the whole track, some Sade kind of thing. I get this feeling that you are inspired by fennias. Love what you dringend with guitar track in Refrain, haunting minimalistic. Overall humble and ethreal mix.

trip down to memory lane, i was wonderring why it sounds 2000 with those chord arranging and synth stuff. theres soul in here. i red your profile and i had to smile alot. my first studio work was in 2008, i had a little chamber, with windows XP and Cubase and all those midi files. keep the spirit up.

on Industrial Resolution by BadNode
you really turned your production up. Synth work is amazing, all the layers work great and are full and direct in your face. This is some really subtle modulation game going on. this relentless beat got me moving. That is some Mike Dean stuff you putting out here. Im a big fan of you, im getting so much inspiration. i put vox on it, just a demo. if you feel something, let me know.

Thanks for the kind words! I just recently learned how much modulation can elevate a track so I've been trying to find places to implement it! Great ear!! So cool to hear it's got people moving too, never thought any thing I'd make could have that effect haha!

Also man!! LOVE what you did with vocals on this!! They are super haunting and fit the vibe perfectly! BRAVO!! look out industrial world! Bad Node and Banana Lu are comin' for you!!

on Young by Cyberflares
love those hard paning stuff, greats weird space on headphones. The tones on synth and this low muffling sub bass is great, really moody and that twinkle stuff is mellow . love how how give energy in 2nd verse with drums. recently listend to pauls stuff, you take care of this community. Im deep in the final steps for my 1st album. remeber we did the "way Out" Demo. i recorded a a track and used the lyrics. If you got time this year, would be nice if you can edit and remix the shit out of it. im feeling some energy from you is missing. love from a banana

on If I Had You - featuring Junior Paes by DanMed
Like how prominent you made horns sections, eq is alive in this and gives enough energy for edm without loosing natural tone. Well balanced overall, the bass is bouncy af. I can feel the joy in this production. Would love to listened to another version. Love from a banana

Intro got me thinking of toto stuff, really articulate on shuffle. There's some really nice jazz timing on your picking hand. Great change in style into hese latin reverb psychedelic . I'm surprised with this one, I'll check our your other uploads. Greetings from a banana

on Spirit Walkers by Kayos2
Great mix, really surprised how you managed the low end. You kept it clean but got that raw feeling. Great synth work some fluffy style. I'm fck impressed with your style range from a bit country pop like Miley Cyrus to. This "protection" line timbre thing was gnarly. I love how you go alternative 80 in the end part. Lots of creativity shining through with energy.

on ValveDriver - Brass knuckle Kingdom - and tea by TheFrenZ
Ethereal vocal delievery, I can feel the pain. Some weird shiat is going on, like Bjork in verse and Werner Herzog in the breaks, never encountered 3rd kind new age stuff in this context. Really impressed. Valve got that blessed touch in his production booth goes hard. If you ever got time I would love to do some crazy stuff. Love from a banana

Hi banana, Thanks for the listen and glad you like it. Wouldn't be possible without ValveDriver's track. Once and a while I try to think in the box but mostly I just create things that I like that can get a bit crazy sometimes. I have time to play, just PM me.

That was a surprise, intro was like Oliver Tree waiting to jump on. But the vox entry changed everything, raw and your growls comes from the the right place in you soul. great mix of 2010 metal scenes and the guts to put those synth in this track. Fck Great execution. I never got the modo drums to sound great in my production, but they banging here. Keep the energy going. I'm excited what's coming in the future.

Thank you so much! Modo has not been the easiest to work with, but it's been the best for use with the Roland td-17.
Again, thank you!

Pleasing mix n master. Your composition is mellow and fits the vox. Nothing is squeezing and crying for attention like some temporary edm. I can imagine this bad boy on a great pa and people will dance.

on Bad Habits by dimestop
recently i thought about what Paul does. I'm deep into Sleaford Mods and my mind was happy that there is a place in people hearts for unusual underground. It remembered me a bit of your style and what is happing in in England music scene. The edits of cyberflares fits your style and booth got something raw and creative. Keep the energy. Your songwriting is getting tighter without losing the mystery. Great to watch your journey and glimps into your world.

Sleaford Mods are a cool band Lu and underground, its great to see my old friend still about and making great music, i got some good lyrical content in the next few tracks, its also the area i am putting more into along with engineering and i think its starting to show with much tighter and cleaner tracks, i will continue giving glimpses of life in song, if you sing the words you feel, it comes across real and to somebody who sings with so much emotion in his work like you thats something you well know anyway, great to see you about

Crazy world music fever dream. Lots of high energy japan funk stuff. Love the tone of the middle break guitar. Where do the key parts come from. reminds me of 2000 yamaha stuff. The hit hat sits great in this mix, gives great forward move. Keep digging in your vault.

Great filtering work on those baddy bass synths. Full and never harsh. I can confirm those Berlin industrial vibes. you nailed the heaviness and precision of german underground. Great production with a lot of air, fx section fits perfect and compliment well. Halftime break is a creepy journey.

Lu, it's good to hear from you, man. I'm glad you liked this one. It's a little bit of a step away from my normal shit. As far as the Berlin industrial vibes, or German underground...I have no idea what those sound like. But, by the end of this weekend I will!
Hey, thanks brother, for taking the time. It's always good to know you're still around.
Take care.

love that vibe, almost waited for Luther Vandross to enter. i love our play with dynamics and minimalistic approach on lead. it never liked when a guitar player shreds to much and plays unnecessarie notes. i can feel the soul in each note from you. very dream like production and suits the genre well.

Hello BananaLu, I appreciate you listening to my track....mean a lot. I always believe there's a time and place for the shredders, but I think for a lot of music expressions don't necessarily mean a lot of action on the neck, I think so much can be expressed using very little.....just more imagination....a phrase here and there. For me more means less, if you feel it at the right time in your piece especially when improvising. Sorry to go and on.....again thank you for listening.

excentric af, and im not a vampire but that pop melody lead melody mixed with your voice got something thruthefull in it. i can hear a human sing, feeling your emotions. catchy song with crazy arrangemts. those drums are gnarly. it really sets the mood. love from a banana

Hey banana, what a nice comment. Many thanks for it. I never heard the term "gnarly drums". But I had many different Drummers visiting my DAW and this simple 60s beat fits well. Sometimes easy arrangements together with a honest loving voice are going best with the dish :-) Cheers, Oli BTW that was my first contact with the Vampire world also.

did you kidnapped Carlos Santana for that ? pls let him go. Your guitar lead is extraordinary. straight from your soul. I can almost touch those frequencies. Thank to Valve for kicking you in the nuts, we need more stuff like that. relly expiremntal and your mix is superb. i love those dimensions you created. every little sound you put there is a for reason and makes sense. crazy hard stuff but you dont overwhelm the listeners. Like Vintage Nights i get those avantgarde muse vibes but totaly your own. hope you you get back on track, something is brewing here in looperman, we all get more heavy and guitar is coming back. on Dazed And Abused - Monzder Squad Feat Banana Lu by Pnnywze
great work ethic you put out here Pnnywze. Its fck hard work to put everything toghether while setting up a discord server. You truly build a foundation for artist to collobarate. i can feel something in your production thats different and standing out. i wish the best for Monzder Squad and that you all can create and explore into alternative hip hopa and keep the raw energy straight from hell. I was blown away by Dustys honest lyrics and i felt the same pain roming in his soul, thats hunting me. Lil Vizzio brought that crazy flow to the table and grounded vibe that balancences out the track. his lyrics are on point i dig his style. You done a great beat and the guitar parts are gnarly. i love your fx edits in the vox and bridge part, dark energy stuff.
Pnnywze
Pnnywze replied 30th Sep 2024 - 1 year ago
Hey brother, I really appreciate every word of that. Sometimes the work and detail that is sometimes required for a single track can be lost on the listener, so it feels good to know that putting that extra little effort in truly matters. And the vocals took me FOREVER lol, mainly because all 3 parts seemed like they were recorded in 3 diifferent decades with 3 different types of equipment lol. Its my job to figure that shit out, and I always WILL get it figured out, but this is also a learning experience for me, anyone who says they have nothing else to learn is a damn fool. The more a person learns and the more they work with people, the easier it all becomes. And BTW, anytime u feel like u can jump on a track, do so lol. chances are itll be something I can use immediately,

on One Life by Zootman
i dig that loose sound and what you did with your guitar is just straight soul, a great conversation and brought so much energy. your voice tone and ideas are great and i love that whoo. I listened at monitor and headphones and its great clear mix of all instruments and vox. I red the comment from doudei and tried the cut around 6k it changes up for a bit clearity. Im thankfull for his comment, because i suck in mixing . But we talking upper echolon type shit here, with your production. It really stands out in dimension and feeling. i want more vox from you, such a beutifeul voice.
