love the sound of the bass, and how you put it in the mix. It brings a mellow ambiance into the track and glues like patex. its a nice relaxing song and i dig that steel lap guitar sound in the bridge. nice organic sounding guitar. greetings
i see myself fighting over the last piece of cheese in the case of an apocalypse. this gonna be my soundtrack while im whipping in 1992 BMW trough europe. im gonna put you on a trailer like madman guitar freak. i dig that mix, well balanced, energetic, more a feeling than. love your energy.
great feeling and mix. i dig that lush choir verb. sometimes im afraid to put that much on sends but in your context its is relaxing and mixes well with your instruments to create some unique harmonics. i think its a great foundation for sharing with this community.
Thank you so much for your time listening to my music and commenting on this. It is a real pleasure to know you liked it. I usually try a lot of things before I choose which sound to use and the choir sounded a good choice. It is not always successful, so I am glad you liked it. I will soon visit you to listen to your work
Best wishes, Anthony
waka waka, this is defintly a new gem. Im really suprised by your creativity and vocal delievery. you got this unique vox. i can feel vulnerability and strong energy that i really hunt for in an artist. your vox edit it so much better. lush intro and the mix is really warm. im suprised that you can to reggeaton. im in the process for my 1st solo album and it will be a island dub, dancehall, reageaton album. it would be nice if we can stay in touch. i really like your vox and it would be a pleasure if we can do a collab in this year 2023. love from a banana
hey Paul :) nice that you put out new stuff. those dreamy pop urban beat comes in tight with your vox. i really love your greedy edit on yor vocals. you change your flow like a chamelon on this. fck them haters. i recently split up from my band , they wanted to do generic pop shit with evil people and no politics involved,. its hard to find your own thing today and your track gives me a lot of vibe. i really love your line" smell at the flower, plough and deflower. it´s what im feeling all the time in society. i was sad for a long time. but i grew older and im 30 now. i can accept reality. i reall ylove the end section (3.50) when the beat is a bit mellow and your vox can shine bright. i love when you go up in the register, and i can feel all the pain. im glad that your my mate as well. you were the first to welcome me here on looperman and cheered me up to go my own way. love from a banana
thanks for such a nice comment Lu, we are lucky social media can be very fickle, but here in featured we seem to have struck lucky and get along fine. music is our bond, the super talented people here are unbelievable, of which you are one. splits happen for the right reason eventually, so dont beat yourself up, your great solo fam. keep thinking positive, if you dont believe in yourself, who else will. your a firm favourite among us because your original, i remember your introduction, i was like wow, this guy is nobody but himself.
Jansmusic provided the music that was not me i only added overdrive and a couple of fx to the master. i was happy with the overall job 3 big changes. im in a good place at the moment Lu so heres a little goodluck from me hope it rubs off. be you bro f#uck the haters, we always here
hey baou, you are a great observer of the human soul. i specially like the " you dont wanna let me see your face and you dont want to share". your direct approach on lyrics with an open interpretaions makes it unviversal and everyone can take something out of it. im glad for your output and make my own baou album on my laptop :). you give me such an energy, i wake up everyday with hold on, to remind myself to just hold on. its a hard time for everyone right now. you have this calm guitar lead thing going with explosions and it feels like something want to get out of you and you just grabbed it and put in his own special safe place back. your vox is amazing and your own and it calms me down and sometimes i get emotional when i listen to you. love and respect from a banana.
waka waka, this beat is gnarly. the intro feels like a throwback into 80´s. it really feels like jeanne from Falco. this snare haunts me all the time. this a perfect mix of old vibe with spicy new urban context. yummy for my tummy.. the kick drum is great i love those fast hitting and sublte thing you get here going. it would be so fun if you send me some beats. i try to get better and i need a bit time. but in my mind im dreaming of a urban album with 12 songs. would be gnarly if you can help me with your music energy. love from a banana
hey phantom , i really love the intro that swirl into the song is niece. and you put something in the backround that makes it 3d an the you put it away for the str. section and you went clean. i love the guitar they really support the vox without overwehelming it. vox got soul ánd i liove the baritone. its flawless. he is definitly something special. chorus feels like breaking out of everything. this is soul. outro is amazing with this reduced eq and a perfect ending. well done. composition is nice.
i really like your song writting, theres is this straight foward approach but without beeing edgy or clichée. its in the realm of pop understanding but with a soul backround. i love how you play every instrument with conventiction and dynamics. guitar parts are gnarly, i love the guitar tone specially for the end part of this track. what kind of guitar and amp do you use?
Thank you thank you danke! This one and quite a few of the recent ones are straight from the heart (Kleine Josefine, Hold On, Through the Clouds) and I think it makes a difference. I know what I want to say and the story guides the songwriting - sometimes I'll follow conventions, sometimes I'll throw all than in the garbage bin because there's something I need to say :)
Regarding the guitars, I used to have more but I've whittled it down to a PRS Silver Sky which is my "travel guitar" (they're indestructible) and a very nice Heritage 535 (like a Gibson 335) at home.
That one I pipe through a couple pedals, for this ttrack a wampler tumnus (a Klon clone) and a JHS octave reverb (although I make new arrangements regularly). NO amp; I go DI into my Scarlett interface. Certainly not the best, but fine for a home setup.
Glad you enjoyed it :) It was a painful one to write, but cathartic to sing, as maybe you can hear ;)
this is a great track, i love the brighntess in your mix. it always feels live. those drum break are huge, like some 80´s stadium rock moods. what i love about your style, you always create a dynamic rthytm with your instruments. it helps me to find my rhytm and let my self go without loosing tempo. i wrote some lyrics for that. im gonna record today. love from a banana
hey shroomer24, the tone and articulation of your guitar is amazing. it really got this epic stadium rock sound. love to listen to more of your thoughts. Mike Dean is a OG of synth magig and he outdone himself with DONDA, i can imagine a real epic track with this guitar track. im a weird proucer looking for guitar players. when youre down for a collab, we can do some voodo magic. love from a banana
tom waits meets a bootle of whiskey. i love your vox. i can´t stop laughing about the lyrics. This is a great story you´re telling. the mix is great, i love how you put the guitar and the tone, what kind of guitar and amp you are using ? this phased guitar makes it very special and you mixed it very well. i get a lot of ideas from this tracks. im a huge fan. love from a banana
For an amp I am using a Fender Bronco tweed amp, 15 watts, 1 8" speaker. It has a clean channel and a drive channel, no reverb. It makes some nice tones and makes a cheap guitar sound pretty good.
For electric guitar I play a couple cheap ones, Fender Strat Squire and an Epiphone Riviera Custom P 93, an ES styled guitar. Here I used the Strat.
waka waka, this is some amazing stuff. Danke is on of the best rock proucerd weve got here on looperman. The combination with his dark mood guitar and drums with your voice is superb. i really like your recording of your voice, you nailed it. i get goosembubs when i listen to your lyrics. your tone and delievry are awsome and i feel a connection with your thought and my thoughts. im a huge fan of your creativity and i cant wait to work with you. at the moment i prepare a lot of beats for booth of us, i signed a german russian rapper into my indie label and i got this dream to create a track with you me and this rapper. we gonna create some magic. Shaman you inspire me everytime, thank you for putting out your soul to the world.
i love this raw indie feeling, mac de marco showed us that not everything need to be polished as fck. i really like more raw production. this is a sign of human. i really love the mix it is warm and feels like a summer breeze when im on my bike. this vox is amazing. i like those hold on section that you splash with the drums. lyrics give me energy and i think its very personal what you put on paper. it is a perfect skate song. i cant wait to listen to all your other stuff. greetings from a banana
what a great vibe, this is 100 % island approved . im from phillipin and we have a great dancehall and raggaton history. i love that you respect the culture but put it in a modern context. those 3d drums are amazing. i would love to get a wav to really put it to test on my Deck. Im touring as a Dj through europe an asian. greetings from a banana
fu yeahh. you hit the flow like jack the road. im sure that im a fan of your music. theres this quality in your voice, the delievery with passion and lyrics are no bs. I can feel you, alot of mc or rappers think they are og with theyre gangs. i just can laughed about it. im from a OG 600 year old money family. we dont talk about money we dont show money, we talk art and helping other peoples. they spend money on watches, when they could have bought land. greetings from a banana
waka waka, like Dj Kahlid said another one. i really love what you put out this year. this is some weird af and like other looperman members once said "wonky"(its my favourtite word so far) i like what you doing with the bass drum those little doubble action just a tiny fraction of a second makes it special. it gives me a lot of energy. im now your stan your are my eminem.
attidude attidude, i love this production. i love those raw feelings from vox. its a nice production you ground him very well with your layer of smooth synth. those beat vox flip got me a heard. this is a raw diamond, dont change it. this is passion. and lyrics are awsome. you spread a love of energy with your mood changes in the beats, Sandy if you got some b- beats laying around i want to dropp somei f you are open for bath shiat crazy stuff. greetings from a banana
WOW! ty sm for the detailed and highly gracious comment! comments like these is why I keep putting music out, like seriously ty you didnt have to say all this and I appreciate it greatly. I would love to make something with a banana lmao my email is in the description of my profile send me a message and ill reply with some stuff im working on. :)
hey maj, i really love this one. i know you send me some stuff twice on dropbox, but if i want to open it, it tells me all the time its deleted. i dont know i cant controll it. so i just use stuff from looperman :) i did a raw demo on this one, hope you like it.
skunk face on ragga. this is a nice airy production. but with a lot of boom in the drum section. i like those snare, its punchy af, and those little percusion hi hat with those tritplet kind of feeling. i love how you build in the backround, those little ear candy things make it really nice to enjoy it. nice filter actions to seperate. vox ist just profi level. i´m dancig in my room.
hey maj, i would like to listen to what youve send me, but like i said. if i i want top open it. dropbox tells me it´s deleted. i wrote you before and it didnt change. if you want to send me text me on insta. my link is in my bio. i would like to work with you. greetings from a banana
what a improvment over the year. i´m really impressed with your mixing and soundscape work. eq and compression are digital smooth and modern with a dirty gritty urban feeling. i liked it so much i wrote a 16 on this bad boy. we done some magical work before i hope we can continue in 2023. i sent you a email with a rough sketch recording, hope you enjoy it. greetings from a banana
what a journey, i dance hula hula with my tuba. there is some serious warrior-desert-santa-island vibes on guitar. really nice 3d soundscape. this is really something to listen on headphones with a preamp. those detail and compression you play that game hard zootman, congrats on that. i will take my notebook and learn something. greetings from a banana
Hey there, sorry for the extremely late response. I've been in a cold place the last month with none of the trappings of civilization. Glad you enjoyed it, cheers.
what a nice track, rally unique style of drums. some strong snare work. it reminds me abit of 80 but with a modern urban context with some spicy island beat breaks. in the last 2 years you really stepped up your game. i love those compression and you give every layer own sound space with coulour. eq is warm and well balanced a bit indie, not to harsh digital. im dancing in my studio.
