i love your new Style and that you experiment the hell out of creativity. It got something from Gorillaz with all the blends of electronic dance music funk groove with crazy sounds. The beat is awsome and your vox is fitting as hell on this. i dig specially your 2nd Verse, you got more energy going and i can feel you more. Your songwriting is this mix of pop knowdlege mixed with mysterious cryptic shiat that i love. it opens up any interpretation. im dancing on this. Manuela and all the singers involved, did a crazy funksoul Hook thats catchy Af, it goes right into your brain. I love her power and controll of her voice and so versatile. you got something here, let it out. im excitted for whats coming in the next months.
Lu it was a great collab with the girls and something im extremely proud of the opportunity they give me, Manuela is extremely talented and experienced, but Angelica is a young beauty too, such a talented Pianist, composer and singer, she wrote Warriors on the Beat and i think the girls vocals for it too or at least she played a part in them in sure, she maybe doesn't get the mentions she so truly deserves again all the cryptic, that was Manuela's experience, i was naming him, Manuela said if you can point a finger yet not name, people know who your talking of, it comes across more powerful, these little nuggets i am proud to share because they benefit everyone else about self expression and for your own protection too, Zoot nail summed the track up tho' the girls jump out the speakers, simply wow, love from us all
really beutifeul motive you got going here, but that jump in 1:40 was suprising and it gives it a great foward energy. It got something of Wendy Carlos meets Genisis. The Intro got that lil funky feeling and awsome lead synth sound, very mellow and natural. well balanced mix.
hello fellow brother, i can feel your energy from far away. i felt in love with your composition. it feels light and grounded in a catchy pop context. your mix is great and warm and coming great through big monitors. your vocal fx fitting well and serves the song. im impressed. our lord gifted you with an amazing voice and a mind full of great ideas. i can feel your honesty and your song calmed me down. sending prayers and love from a banana
Hello, dear brother! Thank you so much for your heartfelt message; it truly warms my spirit to know that my music has reached you in such a profound way. Im thrilled to hear that you felt a connection to the composition, as its always my aim to create something that feels both uplifting and grounded. Your description of the mix as warm and well-suited for big monitors means a lot to me, as I strive for clarity and depth in my work.
Im especially grateful for your kind words about my vocals and the effects used; its incredibly rewarding to know they resonated with you and enhanced the overall experience of the song. Your recognition of the honesty behind the music is deeply appreciated, as it reflects my intention to share genuine emotions and ideas through my art.
Thank you for sending your prayers and love from a bananawhat a delightful touch! Its moments like this that remind me of the power of music to connect us across distances and bring a sense of calm and comfort.
that mix sounding yummy on my headphones. bright dreamy vibe with your guit sound and i think you should leave those parts, it gives it a human touch and your rhythm guitar in the background grounds it with the groove. im just a beginner but im impressed with a lot of creators here on Lm , the improved their mixing and you are one of them. love from a banana.
Thanks Lu - yeah I keep trying to figure out how to improve the sound production - not entirely sure it's right on this one (kind of edgy) but it fits well enough : )
thank you zootman for sending me the link. its beautiful and im feeling soul in your production. no tweaking needed here, the mix is warm and modern. i will write something this week and record. i would love to sing with you on this track, im in love with your voice.
Glad you liked it enough to have a crack at singing on it! Not sure I can reciprocate but we'll see. I'll reply to your email contact with my email and see how we go. Cheers Zoot.
you made a great beat for that vocal and the mix is warm and natural. i dig those subtle synth layers, specially your use of pluck to enforce the rhythm and it gives energy. im happy to notice that basic music theory will not die here. you mirrored with your keys odarkas vox, im impressed. someone was doing homework in the past. im keeping dancing on that bad boy and sending love from a banana
Thanks bro yeah her voice is amazing it's her music I just helped bring out some of the melodies and tones that were already there :) Thanks for listening!
fire beat, this is some serious mixing you put out here. As a listener i can clearly explore your different layers and they never get boring and you dont overwhelm us. i specially like those followed solo bass lines, they sound organic and contrasted with this kinetic energy stuff. breakdown is heavy and well done. i can imagine how a crowed would react to that one. im digging serious vibes here. love from a banana
hot hot hot hot, you murdered that beat without witnesses. its crazy how you dropped on that beat. Theres something ready, i love your changing flows and you give each section its own personality. those subtle changes are gnarly. lyrics are perfect for this written for this shiat and they burning. if you need a mixer whose familiar with crazy bath salt type of production, just me hit me for your next upload. would love to hear that kind of stuff put into the next level.
Hey Zootman, love your mix. its modern upfront but with our ancestors like mad scientist, lee perry in my mind. i love your vocals theres is something you bring from our western world into this dub. lyrics are awesome. and when you do on another dub track would be gnarly if we can collab. Dub is dying, i was in a local vanilla job, looking for my drug dub, but that women told me they squashed the section, nobody is listing. keep that dub burning zootman. love from a banana
Hi Bananarama, how are you doing? I know you're a dub man, so glad you got to hear this track. I would like to do another dub thing, I did start something recently but never got around to finishing it. Maybe I should....be cool to get your vox on something mate. Here's something you might like, not regular dub but.......kinda.
what a treat, in my mind theres a modern Lou Reed but with better flow behind the mask im currently listening to. you always keeping the community together and you are not afraid of any genre. your style of writing is unique and seems obvious but theres another realm you are tapping in. i specially loved when you go stakkato in your flow. i listened to the raw mix and hell yeah, that mixer done a great job with this mix down. that made my day to listend to this version. love from a banana
thankyou Lu like you my brother i always try to keep original and will have a go at most genres, i am not the greatest producer just yet and sometimes let myself down with a sloppy master, one of the reasons for the Discord was to help overcome this and polish the work then upload to LM, Nik is Manuelas engineer in Germany, the whole team there have backed me and helped me achieve more than i ever thought i could, being involved in music has improved my mental health and my health in general i have another collab coming with Manuela, all the links from the site keep coming back invalid even setting them to no time limit, we are looking in to it, but the server is known as LM COMMUNITY on DISCORD, we would love you on board, it just helps people connect and share your finished work here and is so easy to do, i will get the links sorted, but you should be able to join us if you search for us
thanks for another great review my friend
hey robyka699, that beat got something. i love this flamenco guitar and how you approached your beatswap. there a great ideas in this track. i took me very long time to sample and i noticed that you put up that loop straight in. i did. the same for years. you better a better fluent motion if you chop that loop. then you dont have the problem with tempo issues. all in all i dig that vibe and im excited whats coming from you. love from a banana
this is yummy. the kick sits perfect in this mix. your sample diggin is on point, i love this crazy male vocal sample edit in the background. nothing is unnecessary and your beat tells a story.
salut zipbass, great mixing and use of air in your track. love your dynamic range and explosiv transistion from verse to chorus. did you use for chorus different compressor or did it came with just setting up those huge drum with synths? love it. The bass sound sits very well in this track and dont fight with other frequencies. where did you get those vox? love from a banana
whoooo made the voccoder ? what are you using for vox fx ? drums are on point and i love that you put some thought into it and made this gnarly track, some half-time ,some percussive hit here and there, delicious af. your friend made a killer ambience moody loops and i think he will be amazed. love the fact that you support your friend. my friends helped me alot, we all dreamed about getting into music. 15 years later we still grinding every weekend on stage, but no one gave up.
Hey man, the loop included the vocoded vocals already mixed in, and when I separated the stems, there were some anomalies in them so I just stuck with the way-off-balanced loop. It turned out pretty good, though. My friend absolutely loved it. I really do want to be different and lift my friends as much as I can. We are all much stronger if we're together and united against a common goal. Thanks for listening, man. I appreciate your time.
salue mr.jazzzigarette. i really got into flute sounds since Andre3000 dropped his magic album. reminds me a bit of that. the compression and eq is really on point.
moin
woah! didn't even know he released a new album... AGES AGO!
well, now i do and what a nice surprise that is. the perks of being uninformed.
love it already. apparently it's as amazing as andre himself.
thanks for the heads-up :D
you nailed the dynamic range and your tempo is superb. its quit hard to keep this tempo specially throughout the changing motives. what i really loved is your use of percussive hits. i get lost, im a huge fan of debussy and own various vyinl, but you made it more surreal with your recording. i love how you play with your ambience and tone. love from a banana
woah, you've got a Debussy vinyl collection! that is serious business. i think i've seen a couple of those records once but never actually had the chance to playback and listen. got anything antiques even?
thank you for the most kind words
never imagined to incorporate euro into reggeaton but that is delicious. i specially dig your kick, almost techno and it glued it together. really crazy driving beat. im impressed that someone even doing reggaeton here. im doing my two step dance here and my mind some crazy brazilian funk vox would be great on that bad boy. love from a banana
after 1 guitar strum i thought if he dont go for Liam vox i will be mad, but damm you did it and mixed it with a warmer happier mood in your articulation. nice composition and well mixed, that vibe is really catchy. im excited whats coming from you. love from a banana
Thank you Banana! That's really really kind of you to say and I appreciate you taking a listen and leaving this feed back, such high praise. You've made my night friend!
great sounding layers and soundscape. i love your intro and how you handled that distortion with a well balanced filter action. transition like butter with those Kraftwerk pluck sounds. those rhythm guitar parts sound creamy dreamy, what did you use on those parts. later you dropped some stuttered delayed guitars, catchy af and decision well made, those are great inspiration. you were always good in mixing but holy cow you get better, its juicy in the eq and clear with all your layers and well compressed. love from a banana
Thank You Thank You Thank you, you have great ears for a Banana mate! I love adding diversity into music. You have described it really well. I look at Sheffield bands like Rolo Tomassi, and see how they seemingly move between Dissonant, Cookie Monster voice, and then clean vocals and a pop sound. I try to bring that genre-busting inclusion to my music. Otherwise, I get bores. Thanks so much
you synth work is electric, always on point with all the layers. love the building up and specially those guitar tone, what are you using ? the track brought me to another dimension, you nailed the psychedelic parts. im working for the last 6 months on more heavy metal crossover , and thank you for uploading. it really inspires me, love from a banana
I'm glad you enjoyed it. It's just a little different compared to my usual attempts. It means a lot that I was able to inspire you.
As far as what I used, I'm assuming you mean software for the guitars, etc.
For the guitars I used Shreddage II and III. For the bass guitar I used Native Instruments Rickenbacker. The amp sims are from Line 6's Pod Farm 2. The synth effect in the intro, outro, and scattered in a few places here and there I made using Sylenth1. The drums are Easy Drummer metal kit.
I hope that answers your question.
what the phonk is going on here, i like what you did. im very impressed. its kinda hard to combine these genres but that is awesome. i working on something like this for 6 months and never cracked the code. but damm your vox glues it together. i dig your flow and fits perfect. the quality of your baritone is good craftet and never gets into a wannabe baritone thing. thank you for uploading and if you ever need a bassist. i would be happy to do some stuff. i got like a korn like bass tone in mind for some bridges. love from a banana
Thanks man, I always love collaborating, I just love making music of pretty much any type and especially love mixing genres. Glad you enjoyed! You should join the discord for easier collabs if you arent already. It's on dimestops profile.
waka waka that beat is infectious i love your mix and dig that ooomph in the kick and bass. the layers are great separated and never fighting each other, very clear.
I never noticed your fabulous range. its a producers dream. each octave you present, got its own soul.how your baritone sound and tenor and whats going on with your falsetto . its clear and smooth some jamiroquai voodoo. love from a banana
wake waka that hit me hard in my little pump. great work from all of you. the choir is heaven like and got a lot of soul in it. Your Voice got so much life in it, so much to tell and its very special like rare. i love your complete honesty in your lyrics. i think a lot of people here on Lm can understand the pain in the process of making sounds to throw into the world. it hit me hard, yesterday my band split up. a lot of frustration, all the energy you put in and nothing gets out, but im fine. like you said. we are warriors. love from a banana
thankyou Lu i felt blessed the girls would do this for me as they are all pro artists, i really was honoured, i think it was a really cool take on having passion and heart always chasing the beat, honesty in your words make people believe in you, i try with all my lyrics to tell a great story that is truthful and based on things ive done or achieved or the people close to me, your time is always blessed, one of the nicest and talented people ive met here, hope you are doing well in life bro
