Hey Mark, thank you yes I like vintage sounds and Jeff Beck. Well that was only me fidgeting with the whammy bar, nothing serious unlike JB who was the real deal!
Anthony, You didnt know, but vinyl crackle has been and will always be way too cool. I miss my turntable. Ok the piano chords moves the track nicely. Organ in the background with the Leslie ending is cool too. Interesting creativity. Keep going! Peace.
Hello Mark,
so glad to read your comments. Well it is a series of royalty-free audio drum samples by Loopmasters that are processed with this old vinyl effect. As far as I remember it's a free product. Yes, I used it because it really makes warm feelings about the music you listen to. I will keep on doing stuff with music, it is really interesting to me and creative.
Thanks so much for your visit.
Best regards, Anthony
Greetings StratOli. Theres nothing like the feeling and sound of improvising a song. Its like free styling unplanned creativity. You have done that flawlessly. Absolutely no weaknesses whatsoever. With a solid beat and your floating melodies this effort is a successful one. Peace.
Thank you Mark, I'm really happy you liked some of the melodic ideas. Yes as much as possible I like for my tracks to use improvisations and make them sound a bit like live recordings. Sometimes the first take doesn't work well so I still have to practice on that :-)
Yep! BaoBou! You captured the essence of fun. Its really great hearing what youve been up to. Ive been checking your YouTube. Keep up the good work buddy. Peace.
UE as Im checking your back catalog, Ive found this jewel. Tell me about the sax and piano. Is that you playing or is that a loop? Anyway this is smooth and laidback. Peace.
Chris! This is loaded with goodness! A great take on a classic. The muted trumpet with those delayed guitar chords and the stereo field percussion did it for me. Historically this song has been done in every genre imaginable. You have done it justice for sure. Thanks for sharing. Peace.
Holy moly time flies. Yes, I forgot to mention in the new description that Pseudoble thought of putting the Jack Teagarden track to my music. I still wonder how he did that. Cheers Chris
UE this again is a great track. Innovative how you incorporated a touch of house sensibilities in with the jazzier influences. Im from the Chicago area so back in the 80 house got deeply imbedded in my musical experience. Keep up what youre doing. I hear you! Peace.
UE. Another hit on your hands. Vocals at the changes is a boss touch. Drums at the chorus with the sax and piano is a very nice touch. Great track for deep chilling! Peace.
Thanks again my friend. As you can hear, have been , At It! We will catch up. I quit Spotify. Horrible for artists and horrible for a peaceful planet. Switching my Library to Apple Music was tedious but feels somewhat better. . Apple Music as UncleErin
UE Im loving that emotional and expressive entrance. Guitar and sax is wow! Transitions are smooth. The bass glues everything together nicely. Sweet brass section. Nice!
Hey MArk. How are you? Thanks for the listen and comments. I really look forward to your take. Just about to dive into your tracks. I have been away but back at it! PEACE UE
UE immediately I thought of a classic movie soundtrack. This has a unique urban Manhattan feel. Or looking out at the city from your Central Park terrace. This is a powerful work. The sax speaks volumes. The sparkling effect running in the background is a beautiful touch. Another great track. Peace.
So D! There you go messing with my emotions! The opening is so so in there. The mix is extra crispy just the way it should be. The oh so lethal guitar and bass runs at the changes is just sheer perfection. AND YOU KNOW EXACTLY WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT! Now the drums and percussion laid down could withstand a thermonuclear blast with all that solidness my friend. Very well executed though and through. The band is just plain FIRE! Great writing and arranging too. Thanks so much for sharing! Peace .
Lol! Playa U 2 Funny! It's always a pleasure to converse with you and so glad that all is well you. Thank you for your too kind and extraordinary review of my track and I'm so happy that you really enjoyed it. The plan is to release a album before the end of the year, and I've been working with a lot of different artists to get the project going where it needs to be. However I'll still posting new tracks here on LM. Again so good to hear from you and all the best.
Ok UE! Im totally loving the relaxed atmosphere right from the start. Sax is so in the cut. The percussion is executed with surgical precision. The synth is unlawfully cool. Muted trumpet is a nice addition. But the key change made me stand up! First and second change. You put your whole soul into the intricacies you created. You do jazz right! Congrats on a job well done.
Ok UE! Nice work here. The overall feel is light with a pertinent undertone that moves everything pleasingly. The only recommendation would be adding a flugel horn for a call and response with the guitar. Theres a lot of great space to work with. Peace.
UE agreed! The bridge is phenomenal. Man @1:46! Thats classic UE swagger! I love that sound. The vocals are glove in hand. Sax is just as expressive as the vocals. Why dont you tell me why! This is quality. Nice feel. Its album time UE!
Thanks Mark. That fretless bass hook is a touch I liked. Thanks for the listen and your comments. It means alot to hear from other players. Thank. Stay Cool. Peace UE
UE. Smoothness. Good arrangement. You have great space for the vocals. The vocalist here puts me in mind of Catie Waters. My feelings here, this would fly with vocal continuity throughout. I feel you applied the vocals to season the track. But the musical arrangement is screaming to give full support to a full vocal arrangement. Im loving the trajectory for this one. Peace..
DANG UE! With that synth bass and sax/ keys tho! The arrangement is WOW. Its as if you took smooth jazz notes from the 80s all the way to today. This track would BLOW UP Sirius XM Watercolors. This track is next level. Trust me, I totally hear your dedication to excellence! Very well done UE! A delightful listen. MORE PLEASE! Peace.
Mark. You don't know how much that means. Thanks! This one took ALOT of time. I'm rying to make the tracks as transparent as possible. Thanks again. Stay Cool. Peace. UE
UE! Excellent! I enjoyed every nuance of sound here. From the walk in the park acoustic bass in lock step with the sax and the extremely emotional piano chord progressions. The sax and piano riffs are off the chain. Gotta mention the sax and bass runs too. This is a special piece that invokes that high level of listening enjoyment for me. Intricate throughout. Thanks for sharing and also the text. Peace.
Thanks Mark. I always look forward to your thoughtful comments. I especially love your comment about the emotional piano chords. Hit me the same way. I'm a softie. I've always loved how Yellowjackets and Jimmy Haslip are able to find those moments. Thanks again. Check out the track Resolution. I 'd love too here your take. Stay Cool. Peace UE
