Nice 1 F.R. Welcome back. I can hear David's influence here easily. i lovin the twist and turn chord progressions. Solid beat and that rhythm guitar is fire. Clean mix and good guitar solo on the exit. Thank you for the share.
B.O.M. Easy Breezy Laid Back and Relaxing. This one can be developed and pushed further. Yep based on your melody line I can hear another couple of verses. I like what you're producing. Keep going!
Richard. The way you process your vocals is your signature. That gives dept and character to the lyrics you've written. I'm loving the mix clarity and straight forward way everything was presented. Just checking some of your earlier works noting the progress you've made. Another great production
Mark, thank you so much! That really means a lot, especially coming from someone who's taken the time to listen to both my older and newer work.
Believe it or not, I still use the ancestor software, Adobe Audition 1.5! Haha, I actually have the 2025 version, but I've become so used to the old one that I'm a bit scared to make the jump to the newer versions, let alone other DAWs.
I do use FL Studio to sketch out beats, but I've never used it to record or track vocals.
I actually started out as a rapper around 1999 and stayed with it until about 2011 before gradually transitioning into the style I'm making now. It's been quite a journey, and I'm still learning with every song. So it's quite possible the vocal sound you're hearing comes from the very basic settings I've always used. By today's standards, it's probably considered a bit raw or not fully polished, but I guess that's become part of my signature sound.
Thanks again for your encouragement and for noticing the progress. I truly appreciate it, my friend.
Also, apologies for the late reply. My wife and I are expecting our second baby any day now, so I may be AWOL or MIA for a little while!
You absolutely positively cannot go wrong with the stellar vocals of Patricia Edwards. Your soulful foundation did her justice. A really nice performance.
Solid production. The piano melodies are so good. The closing section running with the guitar, and strings is over the top! This is good music. The mix is pristine. I enjoyed my listen.
Richard! You've picked another winning loop from Nameless. Good ear! The inspiration you've drawn from that guitar loop alone and strategically executed it here, caused this work's outcome to be amazing and successful. Along with your spot on vocals and lyrical content. So note, you are now free to be comfortable out of your comfort zone, go with the flow.
The unrestrained expressions and adorations to our wonderful Lord and Savior is highly honorable! Very Impressive Richard!
Thank you so much, Mark! That genuinely means a lot to me. I still feel like I'm just experimenting, so hearing that it all came together is really encouraging. Credit to Nameless for such an inspiring loop, and all glory to the Lord for giving me the heart to write and sing. I truly appreciate your thoughtful feedback and constant encouragement.
Hey mudhoen! So we've got stab's with bounce to get us into the swing of things. Ditto Anthony on the lows. The arpy synths and ambient runs really gives strong character on your kick. The relaxed way you composed is proof EDM is your zone. A great work you've produced. Me likes!
I always liked stabs in house music and combined it with the vocal to make it a bit more interesting. It came out surprisingly well. Nice to hear that people like it, especially (great)fellow musicians. Thanks a lot!
Robin! What have you done did? This is full on housey! Those extra crispy hats and that kick! Remember where Im from, The Chi! Yep that back in the 80s house with Farley! You captured the sheer essence of house and this work is a way back machine! Thanks for the memories.
Laidback is correct. Loving how you brought in the first verse. The tinkling piano melody is flame. Vocals are in the cut lovely. Impressive work though and through.
Asociale! The auditory panorama created here is definitely flame. Everything sounds wonderful, but those drones really set me in my happy place. An amazing work of art. Thoroughly enjoyed my listen.
Steven! The opener took me back to Kraftwerks Trans-Europe Express. Catchy, with bounce galore. The guitars, lead and rhythm are riding the wave like real bosses. Excellent listen.
Whats good Robin? So yep no doubt this one is an imagination tickler. Futuristic fantastical with a pinch of microgravity. The time signature is flame. You do quality music constantly. Add this track to the list of the awesome compositions youve created!
