Description : Quite an upbeat track, built around a simple drum beat, which I sliced together as I wanted very short breaks in the drum pattern. A solid bass synth to accompany the drums and the odd sequence. In addition to this, there's another nine seperate synth melodies that I played. I used a variety of vst synths on this track: Poly KB II, Z3ta+, HY Poly and Thorn CM. Feel free to download or comment. Feedback is always appreciated. Thanks

Thank you. I would have listed this as Synthwave tbh, but it's not an option in the genre section. Eitherway, I'm glad you liked it and thanks for listening to it and leaving feedback. Thanks.
Yeah, I would have listed this as Synthwave if I could tbh. But thanks for listening to the track and leaving feedback, it's always appreciated. Thank you.
Pretty cool track, man.
I may be way off here, but I'm going to go out on a limb and assume that you're a fan of Rush. Or, maybe it's just because that I am, and with my own exposure to them that I associate some elements of your synth work to their sound. When I first heard the sequenced synth starting at 0:16, my mind went instantly to the intro of "The Spirit Of Radio". There were a few other synths in there that reminded me of their work over the years, too. But, to be clear, I don't mean to take away from your work in the slightest. Quite the opposite, in fact. I mean it as a sincere compliment.
So, either way, excellent work.
Take care.

Hi V, thanks for your feedback, it's much appreciated. The short answer to your question is, no, I'm not a Rush fan. I don't dislike the band, truth is, I've never listened to them. I know of them as their pretty famous, but the only things I know about them is, their Canadian and the only song I could probably name by them is the one you mentioned! How bizarre. I've just listened to The Spirit of Radio and I can see where your coming from though. No, I absolutely take it as a compliment and I really appreciate your comments. Infact, I'm gonna listen to some more Rush I reckon. Kayos2 commented on this track and said it reminded them of early Ultravox, which is another band I'm not that familiar with. It's very insightful to hear what people think of the music you create. I'm always grateful for feedback, thanks again.
Beautiful synth work here, it is pure electronic stuff with powerful bass sounds that seem to prevail.
Interesting track BullittVolante

Hello BullittVolante, well orchestrated and arranged track my friend....its a nice fun electronic ride of sounds, effects and percussions.....really enjoyed this.
Hi, thanks for your comment. You've actually inspired me to go and listen to some early Ultravox, as they're a band I've never really listened to, apart from some of the early singles, I'm intrigued!
Description : Feel free to check out the video on YT as well (Alan McLaren Project - Upside Down) of this 6min journey from electronic to rock with some psychedelic moments...
This is my latest, but also one of my earliest tracks.... any feedback is more than welcome, thanks :)
Description : 'The main point of this song is really about the frustrations of living in the overload of today's World of Tech. The consequences are impaired communication and that if you advance too far you end up diminishing what you had to start with, so you are way worse off.' Enjoy a 60s Rhythm with a modern deep Bass, a Sitar, a Piano from EvilPianist, a lost flute from UniverseHuston and some Oscillators :-)

Description : A demo of one of my current projects. The chorus vocal sounds like "Aaaaraashe" to me. The song is in C# minor with a nod to C# pythagorean on the chorus. The beat on the verse was inspired by the Peter Gabriel song Intruder.
Description : This is one of my earliest productions that I did at the start of my recording career. I did not have a keyboard at the time I made this song, so I improvised and used my sister's iPad and a 5 dollar GarageBand application instead, and plugged the headset jack into into my PT6 rig and did my best to turn each individual track (which were mono and there were about 25 tracks or so) into a stereo image. Then recorded vocals over it. My computer was so old and slow that I had to mix my music and then BOUNCE it to a new session - four times. My computer (which had 512 MB RAM and an 80 GB hard drive) couldn't handle more than 8 tracks at a time or it'd stop working because the processor couldn't handle it. Took me FOREVER to do. But I got it done. Had a lot of fun doing it too, even if it isn't my "best" work. I'm still happy with it, considering I didn't have many tools to choose from at the time.
Description : Long time lurker first time poster, pretty new to production n stuff, this is my first track in Ableton Live.
was going for a darkwave/synthwave sound, reminiscent of Justice, Carpenter Brut, Perturbator, ect.
Looking for some feed back, constructive criticisms or even just your thoughts if you liked it or not. This is just a rough cut on this current WIP, just the bones of it if you will.. If you have some cool title suggestions, would love to hear those too.
Thanks for listening.
