Definitely a cool track you've done here! I'm only recently getting into trap, and it's because of songs like this! The arrangement and mix both sound pretty nice on my system. Just curious, but on your sub bass, did you happen to cut the ultra low frequencies out? I personally like 21 Hz, I find it helps subs and stuff be more audible to human ears. Just curious mostly, I'm trying to learn too. Was a fun one to listen too! Fave!
You've done it again my friend, created something precious, and brightened my life in a big way! This gives me images of a travelling bard, going places, and changing lives. I realize this isn't the version you meant to upload, but I love it! You performed all parts with feeling and expression, and they all work together to create life. It's very good to see that you are still around here with us. I am happy to know you.
happiness belongs to me for knowing U my friend & Pat generally I should confess I've been lucky abouT my looperman communications what teached to this isolated grown man so much..regarding this track I'm gratefull of your attention & time , shared review & all your supportive words .
just no Patrick my friend , this is it the same version that I had wanted to upload ...I'm back from mission & U've listened the last seq of that folder of this project in which ending part has not that issues ...
buT your honest words makes me know this hasn't convinced your mind to be recognized as a completed and done track ...
despite I think U've not listened track till the end too...
and so I'm sorry if this hasn'T convinced U as a completed & done trial of mine , and my exclusive appreciation for sharing honest feedback & critical point of view Pat...
would be great to know what do U think We should change in it to can gain to a better output in the end ... ?
anyway thnx & thnx & take care buddy.___B
This is pretty cool, especially for a second try at dubstep. When the wobbles came in, I was appreciating that after the pitch bends, when the wobble went flat it sort of changes tone slightly... I don't know that's just me. The vocals are arranged pretty well too. I like how it seemed like there was another track of vocals sort of overtaking the main one, an effect or something maybe? Or was it an actual second channel of singing? Any way, I enjoyed listening! Have followed you on soundcloud now. Keep at it!
Thank you for the feedback :) I have been messing around with a few new plugins recently and i'm started to understand things a little bit more. Hopefully my next song will be much much better.
Oh yeah! This is the kind of style I was trying to get into like 20 years ago, but living in a minor midwest US city I couldn't find much. So this is a pleasant flashback for me. Love the vocals you did, very powerful! The drums are quite cinematic to my ears, but in the setting of the song I can get into it. Nicely mixed, and very interesting to hear! Fave!
Arrows buss throu the night ..... you are right, this song is realy cinematic.
A great thanks to Anubis for this drumloops.
25 years ago i run away from my minor north german hometown but there where all kind of music around us (lucky us) but thats another story.....but its nice to hear that i give you a flashback in time.
Real nice to hear is that you found the vocals powerfull. You know -hearing yourself isnt "real"- so i never found them realy powerfull.
So thanks for the comment,
thanks for feedback and thanks for the fave.
Let me start by saying that you are definitely amongst my top favorites as far as dubstep goes, and a song like this totally shows why! The complexity that it demonstrates is fabulous, but at the same time the track feels pretty open, like things aren't competing for space. Yes, it's very dark! Puts me in mind of some goth music except it's up to date and computerized. Nothing wrong with that! Potent track you did here! Fave!
Well I definitely took a leap in how I produce things nowadays so I am really happy I see people supporting me, means I am going the right way haha.
Also I was surprised because I literally had it on looperman for like a few hours and already had 6 people commenting on it, that's immense in some way.
This is a phat mix! It's people like you that are in the process of getting me back into house, don't know if I should thank you or poison you...heh. Definitely cool deep and bouncy vibes going throughout this set! Listening, and reading djtheobserver01's comment and your reply made me wonder if you are doing much volume automation in this minimixes of yours? Mostly just curious, as I don't hear to much for mix problems. The last part is definitely my favorite, has major flow to it! I've been awake over 4 hours, and I think this track finally woke me up! Nice one! Fave!
Yes, pretty sweet stuff here! You totally have your own style going I see, and I respect that thoroughly! I can't seem to pick out parts that I especially like, because it seems like without the whole mix the elements would not be very expressive, but put them all together like this and you've got an epic track. Cool ending!! Fave!
Wow that intro was freaky! Have not heard hip hop like this before, but I hope I hear it again. The bassline around the 1 min mark was very cool and groovy! I like that you always seem to push the boundaries with your tracks, if more people did that we probably wouldn't have all these boundaries. The chopped feel of the drums is very nice, I can't tell if it's old school or new school... shows how much I know about hip hop. Anyway, killer track! Fave!
Yes, I think "special" is the word for it! I'm loving the complex rhythms you've created! To me this reminds me of the time when industrial music was just transitioning to compact discs... like maybe "Too Dark Park" from Skinny Puppy or even "Further Down The Spiral" by Nine Inch Nails... I'm not sure, but it's awesome whatever it is. Very cool tune, I think it was good medicine to take with my breakfast. Thanks for sharing! Fave!
Many Thanks Mate,
Found my own style (i think) here at Looperman and the progression about is going on and on.Reply´s of the Members in here made this possible for me and i thank every single one for support, good or bad.Glad that you like :)

Hey this is a fun song to hear! I'm digging it very much! I can see what people were saying about the sitar... I guess I'm assuming it's a loop, otherwise you could vary the velocity between the different notes to give a more live feeling. A little verb or delay could help to like FR said. Anyway, love the trap elements very much! Was very pleasing to hear this track! Fave!
Hey, it's a good song, but I'm going to be honest... it really depresses me. Maybe it's that Minneapolis contamination... Used to be up there all the time, and now it's pretty a sh*t town as far as I can tell. The beats and instruments sound great though. Another track that makes me wonder about my question in the looptrack challenge 3 thread. Good work though!
Definitely a pro sounding track you've done here! I like the feel of the mix very much! Cool vocals too. Seems like a fusion of style, and I'm never against that! Well done!
Likes me some fusion. Gonna try a different avenue with different vocals and see what else I can come up with. THe vocals that I currently have don't span the length of the tune. I've asked the community to try and come up with some tailored vocals. I love the music and don't want to touch that.
First off, I'll say I like this very much! Secondly, it wasn't what I expected when clicking on a "hardcore" track... I was thinking either hardcore dance or maybe hardcore punk, but I really don't know what this is! Love the homemade audio on this one, you have an ear for good and useful sounds! I like the bass at the end very much! Fun and trippy song!
I'm just beginning to get back into house after going through a phase of not getting into it, and I'm glad that's the case because there's some great songs out there! This is one of them! It really does put me in mind of your signature sound, but is also a little refreshed in some way. Nice and bouncy, just like I like it! I like the momentum! You did an awesome job here! Fave!
Thanks my friend! I'm happy you enjoyed this one. House music is probably one of my favorite genres, as it just makes you want to continually node your head. Its really cool that you're getting back into it, I don't think you'll regret that one. Thanks for the kind words and have a great day!
Yeah man, this is nice! I thought I had never heard of the vocalist, but then got to a part of the song and the memories came back instantly! Had forgotten about this song completely. I'm especially fond with the guitar solo you did, it's smooth and toneful! Sometimes it's a fine line between chill out and pop music, and I think you're walking the line expertly in this track! Very good sounding mix, and I enjoyed listening this morning with a little iced coffee. Fine work!
Thank you so much for stopping by and posting your comments. Much appreciated particularly the compliment on the solo which I found a real challenge trying not to overpower the track. Iced coffee and this track sounds a great combination!
I have to say, this is a really enjoyable song to hear, no matter what the genre is! Brings me back to the time I was constantly listening to bootleg DJ sets, which can't be bad... can it...? Really smooth effects you used to create the vibes! The tempo is perfect for this style too! Thought I'd return the favor by listening to one of your that's been here a while, glad I did! Freeking great! Fave!
Nicely crafted intro! Good to see you back around the Loop, you have been missed! Would be very interesting to watch your work flow when creating stuff like this. What are those 32nd notes? 64th? sweet! Very good quality mix too! I am thoroughly enjoying listening! welcome back! Fave!
Very cool and fun song! I like the playfulness of it quite a lot! Definitely sounds like something that would have come out when digital was new and people were experimenting. The 80's were great, though I don't get into 80's music as much as I used to... that's okay though, because this is new and I tried to listen as such. It's just minimal enough so that you can hear everything clearly. Very enjoyable! Fave!
I was hoping you'd get around to listening Spiv. I respect your opinion. I'm glad you liked it although it was probably hard to since it's so bubblegum 80's and a little disco'sh with the 90's sounding bass line underneath thrown in.
I'm actually pleased with the production quality. Might of passed uploading the song but happy with the sound.
The next track I'm working on is more true to the genre I'm going after. Still 80's, retro-future but more outrun electro that I'm trying to capture. I'm hoping anyways.
Hey, jammin tune you've done here! I can tell it has some solid performance skills put into it, you can hear it and feel it. The kind of acid sort of bass is really groovy! I'm really enjoying the arpeggio thing around 2:30, very flowing and more complex than it seems. The vocal sampling in places is very effective and catchy! Looking at your page, I realize you've been releasing a lot of songs lately, don't know why I didn't catch that sooner! Later in the song, I'm feeling like I'm being taken somewhere new and shown things I didn't know existed. Amazing solo you played, I love it! So so cool! Has a bit of a dubstep feel around 7:30 I think, and it settles just right and flows well. I like the sort of nu disco vibe in the ending part, really unique and well crafted! Quite an enjoyable song to hear! Great work! Fave!
Jammin tune here! Haven't heard any death metal in a while, so this is nice. Was very cool to hear someone bringing up moshing in the comments, I was just drunk talking with my wife last night about moshing and how no one does it any more. Really excellent work in creating this! Fave!
Very killer song you've got here! Love the style of the synths, they make this very universally acceptable! Definitely not enough "hardstyle" songs around, especially in the electro genre. This is uplifting and fun to hear, so you must've done something right! The outro is just freeking amazing! Woke me up, maybe I don't need another coffee! Well done! Fave!
I'm enjoying listening, it's like a little mini mix! Personally I'm enjoying the second half much more, partly because it's nice to hear you experimenting with new synths. The patches you're using sound very cool! If you keep at it, you'll be making some amazing presets! I really didn't mind the kick drum in the first part, sounded okay on this system. I am just getting to that acid sound, and it's great, awesome tone there! Nice movement to the mix, and the mastering is pretty dynamic too. Thanks for making the soundtrack to my fruit salad! Cool track! Fave!
Hey friend, thank you so much for getting me involved with this awesome collab! (and thank you for encouraging me to tune up my bass and plug in for a while!) It's really pretty much the first real pop song that I've worked on, aside from maybe a remix, and I'm proud of the results of the collab! My wife isn't into it, but then she's one of the least pop people I've met ha ha. I personally really like it! You did a great job mixing the different elements and retaining a dynamic popular style sound and feel. Excellent first collab! Fave!
Thank you for the review but more importantly your input along with Bear, if it wasn't for you two guys, track would not be anywhere as good, if finished at all, was an absolute pleasure doing this track with you mate, First got to do first remix with your night8r stems, now a collab with you and Bear, high lights of my year so far here on the Looperman, apart from finally getting back on the loop, after a shit 2013...Peace n heartfelt thank you Pat...Thanks for fav too mate...Mosaic...
Hey totally didn't notice this one! I dig it! The vocals are nice and prominent. The synth stems used are cool in this context. The guitar is pretty jammin, good tone! Fun to listen to! Fave!
On second listen now. The intro gives me the feeling of not knowing what to expect, and I like that in a track. FreeRadical asked if this was you singing, and you didn't say anything about it... if this is you, you are good at what you're doing! I definitely agree that the guitar could be up in the mix a little, though for the more pop-rock style like this it may be appropriate the way it is. Getting towards the end, and I hear that the guitar gets a bit louder near the end, so maybe you shouldn't adjust the level. I am really into stuff that builds subtly toward the end, so I get it. The sort of epic drum sounds are a nice touch too. Should be pretty cool when you bring it to completion. Good one!
