Hey this is very creative! I see there was some confusion about genres, I could hear this being appropriate in either ambient or industrial, as there were times when the two genres were intermingling heavilly, sometimes they were almost the same in the past. The vocal symthesis sounding parts are quite awesome, subtle but very important to the vibe! This reminds me of when I worked in an optical lab, very mechanical, technical, and yet thought provoking and strange. Amazing work! Fave!
Thank you for the feedback and your perspective on genre. Also want to thank you for Nightr8, I spent a few good hours enjoying the samples (and sorry I left out your voice, I actually like it, but it was importing as 128bpm for some reason, so they sounded off and I did not have the skill set to make it work)
take care
Well, I'm impressed! "Cinematic" music, especially out of context is not usually my thing, but you've outdone yourself here! Love the rhythm of the percussion instruments! The quality of sound is quite good too! The mixing style is very unique and appropriate for the genre. You've obviously found a style of music that suits you, so keep at it! Nice work!
I tried several times this genre, to keep improving.
I like this kind of music genre, and also the "oldscool" style
I used many good instruments, which helped a lot, as the "Brass" among others.
I very glad you liked it, thank you for taking the time to listen and leave a comment.
Super cool game time music! Love it! Great rhythmic elements! Very fun to listen to! Your description reminds me of the real world to me in recent months, so thanks for reminding me! Amazing work! Fave!
Yeah, this is pleasantly F'd up! Great chopping of the vocal samples, it's like all over the place, but it flows great! Awesome rhythm and synth work that go very well together! This is nice and minimal, but it's not boredom inducing. Fun to listen to! Fave!
Interesting style here! For some reason this puts me in mind of the first ghostbusters movie... I seem to have a flashback to telling you this before on another song, but maybe that was someone else. It's just got the ethereal early digital feel to it. Love it! The bass line is pretty sweet! Excellent work! Fave!
Hey buddy! This is a sweet song so far, and I'm really enjoying listening! I am in love with the guitar tone you achieve, and you played it so expressively, it's molten! When it becomes a duet with the sitar, it gets even more amazing! Very cool calm rhythm throughout, which does leave me wanting more. I would go more in depth, but I realize this isn't finished, and I need to do some gardening badly. Very creative song! Love it! Fave!
Yo. I changed my mind on this one and am fairly sure I'm going to leave just as it is. What it could/would/should/still might become is my latest upload called There Goes Gravity http://www.looperman.com/tracks/detail/156081.
That's all the extended stuff that I already mostly had when I uploaded this (which was just an experiment to see how I felt abut this short length).
I'm trying all the time to not do such gargantuan tracks as I do listen to people's whinges about the great length. But I must also always bear in mind that some of these complaints probably come from people not at all into lengthy, far out music so I must not change and deviate from what feels right just for them. It's really hard to know, isn't it?
Maybe a little like someone always reviewing your stuff telling you to be less weird and make your music sound more like Coldplay or someone.
Yes, the guitar tone during the solo seems pretty perfect. And the sitar touches are pretty unusual but also kind of subtle. I can think of no other blues track with a guitar solo and sitar underneath.
Yes, the chillout drums drive the whole piece and totally inspire most of the instrument playing.
You get gardening but don't forget There Goes Gravity. You may enjoy that even more as it gets really psychedelic towards the end. And it's got more sitar and tambura stuff in it.
Interesting jazzy sort of dance tune here, very crafty! You used the vocals very effectively! No complaints about the mix, it's powerful, balanced, and bouncy, so great job! Not my usual listening preference, but within the genre the song stands out. Excellent!
Hey, this is sweet and special! Just got to the piano section, and it just sounds great! Then some nice acidic synth work, very cool change there! I think between that spliff of a minute ago and this song I may have overdone it on the relaxation for 8:26 in the morning! The guitar part sounds great, a very cool way to head towards a conclusion! Very fun one to listen to! Fave!
Well, I'm sorry my friend for not listening to this earlier, I guess it's good to hear a version that's more perfected. And it really does sound pretty much perfect! I don't really notice any more timing issues on this version. It's pop music, so I'm not going to go to far on critisism, as it's not in line with my listening preferences. I enjoyed the piano parts very much, and the drums seemed very appropriate. Definitely sounds like it could be a popular one! Great work!
Friend thank you for the review and kind words, lol as you know this is not my genre, so basically new ground for me doing these genre's especially working with vocals, have to say this one was a nightmare to do, Instrumental was very easy to do, came up with that straight away with in first day, rest of the time was trying to get vocal to work in the piece, sounded very close but just wasn't doing it for me, nearly trashed can it many times, but in doing the piece it sounded like it had potential to be an ok track so kept fighting with it, glad I managed to get it done, so glad Bear was able to be fresh ears with track as I was over it, listening to it well over a 100 times plus, you become punch drunk so to speak and everything sounds okies, then you miss slight error's, have to say this was the most simple instrumental track to do, but one of if not the hardest track I have had to do, if that makes sense...Anyways my friend again thank you for the review and your continuing support, Have another genre coming on weekend, cinematic piece called Myths Of March...Peace n Respect dear friend...Mosaic...
Hey very cool stuff here! Great aggressive momentum! Killer bass sounds, and those vocals are pretty cool too! Haven't seen you around the site lately, hope all is well! I would be willing to take a stab at remixing. I'll message you. Any way good sh*t! Fave!
Groovy jammin rock track you've got here! The guitar and bass sit perfectly together! One thing I'd love to hear in this song is nice organ part, maybe with a short solo at some point. I just love organs, especially in rock music! Anyway, this is a really fun one to listen to! Interesting you called it "Sleep," I don't think my sleep usually sounds like this...heh. Nicely done!
Thanks Spiv. I agree a cool Organ would be a nice addition. I have vacay coming up 2nd week of June. Maybe I can sit down and try and add some. What's funny is I don't remember why I named this one Sleep. lol I must have named it early on and it stuck. Thanks for giving it a listen.
Great chill style of hip hop you got here! The swing is really sweet, makes me want to move and groove! The vocals are good, and I like how you mixed them, they're present but kind of thin so not annoying. Definitely a fun one to listen too! Great work! Fave!
I'm generally pretty picky about house music, but I can get into this one! I like that it's very straightforward. I don't know why, but that's just the word that comes to mind. Cool sounding bass that comes in at the break! Enjoyable song to listen to! Thanks for sharing your work with us! Fave!
Definitely a groovy piece here! I like the sort of slowed down breakbeat vibe to the drums. Cool synth sounds which give a sort of fusion feel to things! The guitar definitely adds some funk, and there's nothing wrong with that. It seems like you could chop some samples from the beginning of the track to get those drum samples back and continue the track, granted there's a little sub bass in there, but that could be worked around. Just a thought. Fun listen! Fave!
Thanks, there is definitely a fusion of sounds going on here! Thanks for the suggestion too, might see if I can extend it at some point but got other things I want to work on right now!
This is a fun track for sure! The high hats really do it for me, they're minamal, but keep the momentum! It was interesting to hear the build up and variation between the different sections, I like how you held back a little and gave us a little more to get into as the song went on. Strings near the end sound awesome! Dig it! Fave!
I like some things about the track, and some not, but it's obviously not finished and I know how that goes. The rhythms are pretty awesome, and the chopped feel to the bass parts is cool and unusual! The synth melody seemed maybe out of tune with the bass, but maybe there's something wrong with my brain (I seem to have posted exactly that on facebook earlier). Might be worth checking though. As compared to other things I've listened to on Looperman this morning, I had to turn this track down quite a bit, maybe the mastering is a little heavy handed that tells me. I'd love to see you bring out the parts with vocal samples, because they sounded quite cool! Please don't take my opinions too seriously, as I did enjoy the song so far. Keep at it!
First off, let me say you've created some awesome rhythms in this track! Personally I like the second part of the track best, it seems very expressive. As far as the synthesizer sounds go, they feel a little bit outdated and/or overused, but don't take that the wrong way... because you've played them very well! I just find that some of the really old synthesizers that have been sampled to death have a really dated sound, and thus prefer hearing sounds that I haven't heard before. There are of course exceptions. Keep doing what you're doing though, because it was an enjoyable listen!
Thank you! Sorry for late reply, I was not aware of all comments on this track. Yeah, I know what you speak about, and I remember the times spent on trying to sample the synth sound to my amiga back in the 90's.
Anyway thanks for listening and thank you for your time spent on analysis and write the creative feedback.
I was listening to the intro, but I thought it was just the song, then BANG the rap comes in! Didn't expect that! Definitely some cool vibes on this track! I know it's rap or hip hop or whatever, but I get a Pink Floyd vibe from the musical work here, between the pads and the guitar work especially. I mean that in the best of ways. Fine work on this track! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks Mate,
Pink Floyd accompanied me since my childhood, maybe that's the reason for the Pink Floyd Vibe:)(happens unconsciously).

Definitely a very unusual style of trance, and I always like to hear new trance! The vocals are pretty cool, but your sound design and arrangement is what makes this song really shine. Totally pumpin and somewhat agressive! The break in the middle is ecstatic, love it! Then things come back even stronger! You always deliver the finest in electronic vibes, no less with this song. Nicely done! Fave!
Cool chip tune sort of sound to the intro, nicely done! Quality basses here too! Awesome lead synth too, that squeaky thing I mean. I get the impression that you know something about music theory or something, because this really is melodic and flowing! Great work! Fave!
Thank you very much for your feedback. Yes, I'm attending music school for 5 years. I spent a lot of time on this and I like to see someone enjoy this. Thank you again :)
Yeah, this is freeking awesome! The vocals synthesis is my kind of sh*t! Can't fault this in any way! I think you have a future if you keep at it! Creative stuff! Fave!
I was playing with my voice sample, slicing, chopping, etc., and I was really surprised how good that sound. You can use it if you want (there is a loop on my profile). Thank you for listening and feedback man! :)
Interesting and well performed track! The tone of the bass and guitar compliment eachother well. That part around 1:30 is just awesome, as are all the parts where the speed of the rhythm is increased, sounds amazing! It was over too soon!
Quite a cool sound you've acheived here! Great guitar playing and tone! When I listen to this, the genre that comes to mind is fusion. I agree with others, that this is not too weird. The part around 2:20 is just awesome, such momentum! The timing of things seems just right, and you've mixed this very professionally! Excellent track! Fave!
Thank´s Mate,
you welcome, good to know, that you like.
The fusion of the Mind you felt is the reason why i do this.

Killer track as usual, it's good to hear some awesome artists working together like this! The previous comment, at least to me, showcased the difference between hip hop and spoken word. I would probably have put this under spoken word, it's more of an open genre, poeple don't judge as harshly. All instruments and parts are performed well! Exciting track!
Hi brother Pat. Howz it goin' in your neck of the woods?
Thanks for dropping by.
Yeah I had 15 tracks of instruments running on this song but in the end I had to mute 5 tracks and kinda went for the simple and effective rather than the crowded sound.
It's always the genre that gets to me but cool I will change it to spoken word. Did you know that hip hop is now a religion and it has it's own bible too! Such is music. Blessings cuz. - B
