Exquisite composition Sir Orlando oh 'mystical magical one'.
It has an almost religious soundscape, meditative, needs to be heard across the Far east NOW!
And equally exquisite is your friendly comment my friend¨:)
Thank you so much for your kind and supportive words and for the fav ofcourse...means the world!:)
Very nice indeed T.A
Super mix with some lovely arpeggiated guitar/piano parts. The vocal is superb and that snare is just perfect when it rocks in at 2:18!It would have been easy to over cook the last section but you have stuck to the main theme of the tune. Its got a kind of Joe Bonamassa ballad vibe.Really into this one.Great work.
:)
Hi Rhodesy. Really pleased that you enjoyed the track. I'm also relieved that you didn't find the last section "overcooked". It was tempting to keep adding stuff until it was bursting at the seams, but I was good and did not give into temptation. Plus my laptop would've exploded.
Beautiful production on this one Sir.Very commercial, could hear this on the Billboard chart, has a country ambiance.Enchanting voice and melody.Top job!!
Another massive pounding wall of noise.Your music makes me want to hit the streets, take up hardcore drugs, sleep in a brothel and get a mcdonalds.Evil pure evil!but i like it??
Insanely brilliant my friend, the sounds of some kind of evil being eating its way through my roof to bite my legs off!Really like it although its a million miles from my compositions i wish i could produce something like this.I have big monitors,i am sure i saw smoke coming out of the right side..i hope you are heavily insured :)
That's exactly the mood I was trying to capture, thanks :D Heh, my headphones are broken XD Keep practising man, next time I'm checking tracks I'll swing by your page :)
Hey there,oh mystical one!Really enjoying this one.
I dont know why but Pete Townsend came to mind somewhere during the intro, something about the mood/tone and Rhythm.I bet thats a first! Then its gone.
The mood to me is a feeling of contemplation.
Anyway mate,an exceptional moment and a worthy tribute to this sites celebrated artiste
Great old school rock feel on this one T.V.
Guitars sound killer with the overdrive and tuned down a semitone. Those Asus4 chords open up the chorus nicely.
It sounds like you are playing the whole track live on the guitar which keeps the interest as your touch has a great loose feel giving variation to the hammer-on riffage.A sweet moment being at 3:30!
My only critique would be- maybe take the sting out of the cymbals.
Great job. Rhodesy
Thanks, Rhodesy, appreciate the feedback and you giving it a listen.
You are correct I did play the whole song live on both Guitar and bass. I also took your advice and went in and EQ'd the drums to try and take the sting out of the cymbals. Thanks for pointing that out.
Appreciate you giving it a listen.
Great cool raw vibe on this one dude!Always loved Hemanifezt vocal.Guitars are superb, just enough edge and the wah ads a funky edge.Great mix ,Superb track. Rhodesy.
Lots of different styles on this Album Eighteen,i particularly liked No.10 posted recently. This shows a more reflective, sombre side to your creating, you have obviously listened to a lot of music my friend.May i ask how you master your tracks please?
Indeed I like a lot of different styles, I guess that's my style haha.
Thanks for the nice comment :D
About how I master my tracks isn't easely explained,
but in short steps its like:
- think of a simple loop to start with and build everything from around that.
- then do all the eq-ing and effects and whatnot.
- then compression over the entire track and usually change the tempo and pitch ( for example this song i have created in 120bpm. but now I have downed it to 102 bpm, so it sounds a lot slower and lower
oh yeah I use ableton for everything, combined with vocaloid
hope that explains a bit of what you wanted to know :)
Welcome back, really nice track!Very powerful production and that kick drum is a killer my friend.Very reflective tones and melodies throughout, enjoyed this one. Please do more, take care. Rhodesy
Thank you for the comment Rhodesy. The kick drum worked out well. It seems so easy to find the right drums but I think I spend the most tiem to make it feel kicking and fit to the track itself. I am glad it worked out well and that you like it!
What a Great track to hear here on looperman. The vocals are excellent, soulful, and the higher pitch reminds me of Ritchie Kotzen, how it kind of squeezes the notes.Excellent minor blues progression early on building into a big rock tune.Great work people.
Wonderful track Sir,so brilliant to hear some progressive rock from Tehran my friend.Very passionate vocals and the band oviously know there instruments. The solo section at 2:00 is soul searching stuff.Thankyou.
Hey Cru,this track is a mindwarp, listened to it several times now through monitors and headphones, and both together actually-that sounded really good then. The way the instruments push and pull one another is credit to your understanding of music. The dissonance and mood changes are delving toward jazz at times i felt.Excellent stuff!
Take care Rhodesy
Thanks Rhodesy, I love to arrange music. I introduce light dissonance and atonality every now and then just to get the casual listener used to it. One day I will release a full blown atonal tune.
Cru
Thank you Rhodesy for taking the time to listen and leave some words! Happy that the vocals seemed appropriate in this song. I had a lot of drive to complete them, and to do it in a way that conveyed the feelings/message. It seems that most people are hearing what I'm saying, and that means a lot to me. I appreciate the comment!
Hey Orlando, this is truly wonderous my friend!Picture myself miles from home sitting by a small lake surrounded by overhanging trees with abandoned decayed small boats.Your music always paints a picture for me which no other on here can touch. So intricate, minimal and musical.Take care.
wow superultramegaok!this is full on METAL!i can hear the voice you are searching for and it aint Justin Timberlake!Dark nasty guitar tone there, what are you using dude?good job.
hey man thanks for the comment, JT ain't the voice I'm looking for, that's right :D
I'm using an Ibanez RG 6strings with DiMarzio pickups, tuned in B dropped A. baritone strings. sloppy as hell, but if I'm not playing fast it's ok.
I'm recording straight into , a ehm, garage band :D
Thanks for listening mate!..yes I overdid the volume a tad! lol..I'll definitely keep it more controlled in the future, again thanks for you kind review!...cheers Dave and Detlef :)
This is a very cool track Joe,has an almost locomotive groove to it.The voices sound real good and the production is big,the industrial tones towards the end are a clever insertion.Minimal is the winner here!
Nice to see you right here. That means that you found some time to go to my track side, cause this one wasn't set on featured when you listen to it :) thats cool.
Good to know that you could enjoy the listen to this one and that you believe that the sound of the voices and synth work is well made and choosen.
Thanks a lot for your friendly words and the time you invest.
