This is true industrial! Experimental and chaotic. Throbbing Gristle-ish with mid 80's style nuances. Not too many artists go for this style, but it is the purest form of industrial. Cheers :)
This was fantastic. I really like the keys here. The brights on the chords and the softness of the other note runs added something really great here. Then that middle synth(I think?) sounds were, to me, like the music in the game FF7. Then the mix with that background atmospheric sounds was very chill. Beautiful song man. Cheers :)
I had to listen to this a few times to remember the Huey Lewis song. It didn't come to mind to quick, then I got a flashback of Back to the Future ha ha. This is a big powerhouse song combo. I never really thought of slowing down a track to play a solo ever. I will have to try that out. As far as the whole song sounds, it's top notch. I enjoyed the mix of Jumps synth lines with P.O.L.'s guitar. It sounded very fluid like it was originally written like that. Great combo Randy. Cheers =D
I appreciate you checking out my latest tune here. As I mentioned, it was no easy feat to do.
I liked both of the tunes as they sounded like they might fit together, so you hear the results.
Many guitarist I knew when I was playing in my band slowed down tunes to learn them them. Slowing down usually gets you half speed and an octave lower is all.
Some handheld recorders let you do this as well these days. Very helpful for learning very fast riffs, etc.
I appreciate your review and hope you'll stop by again.

It's kinda like FLA meets Skinny Puppy with Trent Reznor and the Revolting Cocks for a day of meth and steroids. Methroid's! Maybe a little crazysexycool in there too. Cheers
No download :( Guess I'll have to fave it then :) Has that retro late 80s early 90s sound ala DepecheMode. Vox are cool and the whole track just has well placed change up's to spice things up. Cheers
Sorry no download, but I don't own full rights to this track.I did a vocal for an instrumental by Mr I spy. But,I do appreciate your gr8 comments and hope this track will be available for download sooon!Thank u so much for your gr8 review!!!
Beats tight but I think lyrically its where its at. Just has that raw emotion and point blank reality that just kills. Crazy stuff here but sometimes the best things said aren't the prettiest. Cheers
Very well done! The chill out tag made me expect something else but this was definitely chill and laid back. Really well produced and the guitar was perfect. Loved it =D
Man! This inspires me. I can't put it any clearer than that. The beat and samples are sick. This just wrecks me. Must be the greenery up in Canada man. Def be looking for the final on this one. Cheers, and don't work so hard :P
ZELDA ROOOCCKKSS MAN!!!!
It took me a long while to buy it, when it appeared in N63, and i even used to dream of it, that i wanted it, when i bought it, i felt like a whole person, lol.
I got that feeling like walking in the dark not knowing what was next kinda sound. Like the scene from a movie where the killer is in the next room and someone is walking towards them. I recognized the I am Thor patch from reason in there also. It was good to hear it used creatively like that. Keep up the work =D
I am stoked that you got the I AM THOR from the track...wow! Thank you so very much for your time in listening and commenting. Indeed I have only just begun....more to follow.
Huge banger here! I waited for the 'punch out' part and was not let down at all. Great mix and clarity on everything going on. I envy your skills. Keep up the fine work. Cheers =]
wow thanks again man!! im really glad you liked it. I make sure the build ups are as loud as possible! I only have a little skill right now, but its with the best program (in my opinion) and that is protools!
Damn! This is a killer flow and a N18th beat, perfection. Then the line towards the end "and me I got no five mics, only this one track and still I give it my life", that was just the icing on the whole track. Just an amazing track and flow. As far as the mix, I think more a personal preference would be to raise the vocals a few db. Not too much that it over shadows the beat. Other than that, I loved all the verses SpitShine. Respect for both you guys. Hope to see another collab in the future.
Finally some input on the mix, lol, thank you.. yhea i'm def going to re-mix this if i do somthing with, glad thats all that seems off to you, an easy fix... I guess i was just psyching myself out, we are our own worst critics are'nt we... Thank you for the review..
Pretty eclectic tune Steevo. Had some very good loops in there. The organ and that electronic steel drum going does give it that reggae feel. Then it jumps out with the drum and bass elements. Good job, I loved it =D
Actually no. lol... That's where the begining quote is from maybe. I don't remember... BUT... The kick and bass is from Howard the Duck... believe it or not.
Such a great sounding song. Loved the tone you've got there. Crisp and clear but crunchy with that touch of delay for atmosphere. Loved the volume swells on it also.
It's tricky sometimes. You can try to EQ it a bit and see if that clears the frequencies up a bit. I sometimes use a bit of Chorus and some compression to limit the peaks on basslines. Its kinda hit and miss sometimes. You might also wanna check out the forums here. Production trickbook may have some tips on EQing and frequency help. Cheers
Right now from what I heard so far was promising. Very chilled out track. It just has some frequency problems with the bass. When that low bass tone comes in it brings down the global levels. When the note changes you get that sudden volume swell. I get this problem often. Other than that, it sounds cool. Is that Simon Cowell?
Yeah I noticed the sound swell. I've been meaning to change it but I didn't really know what was causing it. I knew it was something with the bass. What do u suggest to solve it? Cos I still wanna have a really loud bass. Yeah it is Simon Cowell ;)
Its got good sound all around. The intro build up with the drum roll was sick. That main synth line reminded me of something like Massive Attack. Will keep checking out for the re-master when its up :]
Thought everything meshed well in this track. The spoken word parts along with the samples that run throughout. I liked the outro keys. Reminded me of the Buchla synth.
