Sorry for the late reply. I really like the contrasting styles with no dominant one. Got the chilled out vibe then got some more aggressive sounds. Great mix by the way. Doesn't feel like just a bunch of stuff put together. Cheers, and thanks for sending me the link to check out :D
Man, this is awesome. It's like punk rock dance music lol. It's your voice that reminds me alot of early punk rock man. Iggy Pop to be more specific. It's the vibe totally. Love it! Cheers and thanks for letting me know about the track. :D
That's quite a compliment Iggy Pop and David Bowie are still my favorites but I could not have done it with out your guitars I have just made another one with your guitars Thx again keep making them I can use everyone U do.
Thanks for using some of my loops first off. Anger is the most potent of all music making emotions. Audio therapy lol. Hopefully not the last time you make a track out of anger. Not that I wouldn't want you to be happy lol. Cheers, and thanks for the heads up. :D
Shame I was the last one to review this track. I suck at reviews, and try not to spazz too much on the stuff I find just blowing my mind. Seeing the facebook posting about his passing this song came to mind quick. I have this song on another internal drive, but pulled out that drive a few months ago. This was the only place I could think had the song. Site was down, I couldn't come pay my respects and give a final thanks. So with a smile, Thanks Jah.
I hope others find joy in your music as I did. Rest In Peace amigo.
It's like a huge dj mash up of genres. Everything sounds nicely mixed together, but there is a real low sub frequency that throws it off. Don't know if its a kick or a bass. Almost sounds like a dubstep wobble. Other than that it reminded me of Scream by Michael Jackson. Cheers :D
A month plus later I drop the review. Haste makes waste lol. I originally heard this one in the first order you suggested. Then in the second order. In my head it's still hard to kinda separate them down to single tracks. I guess that's a good thing as it being a triptych sonically. The first thing that caught me was the Bull Roarer. I have only ever heard this once before. Sad my expertise in ethnic or non westernized culture sounds is Crocodile Dundee. That sound instantly catches my ears. It comes through the mix clearly. Makes me wonder what it sounds like from the players position(360 degrees if Mick Dundee was right). The chants. Theres a huge rush feeling to it. It fuses with the tempo to create that ritualistic vibe. There's also some really cool dropouts of the music that just, when you hear it you kinda feel that rush coming back in. The percussion is awesome. It adds to the visualization alot. Stereo panning that creates that 'Im in the middle of this' feel. It's really something that my little mind can't really put into words to well lol. I've had the higher bitrate playing while I type this and I keep hearing things pop up here and there that are new. Wish I could type as fast as I can hear. It's an awesome piece separately, but becomes something really special when it's combined with it's other parts to make the whole. Now I have a long overdue review for Salook. Cheer's n0mad, and thanks for the higher quality versions. :D
Sorry for the delay in response here - I'm not sure how I didn't see this review! I actually have a friend in Seattle still that's got a fabulous bullroarer, and I used to "play" it whenever possible back when I lived up there. Actually took it to a live performance once and had management say "nix" to its use - they were worried that piece of wood might come loose from its leather strap and kill someone - lol. Right on. Dangerous art.
I agree totally with your reading that this really is a Triptych and not 3 individual tracks. As a whole, the "story" makes a lot of sense that's just not there when listening to each separately.
I'll be by shortly to check out your audio offerings. Thanks much for the review!
Love the classic bit sound guns. Captures the dark night vibe pretty good. In my head I see silhouettes jumping from tree to tree, ninja style. Church kinda in the background, just barely visible here and there through the fog. Very visual music lol. Makes me wanna fire up a game and play! Cheers :D
i appreciate the review. i hoped to evoke something like you described. i listened to a few of your guitar licks. looking forward to using them and will share when/how I do. peace

Everything sounds good man. There's and odd bass note though. Everything else in the bassline is solid. I think the second note was C#, not sure though lol. The whole riff was like G# C# B and some other stuff. Everything else sounds solid like I said though. Love the running hi hat in the drums. Also, its one of my fave films in there :D Cheers.
I love this. It's got a trip hop vibe to me. Real relaxing. Great track's also go by real quick. Looked and bam, nearly 4 minutes had passed in that moment. That sorta glitchy pitchshifting perc that plays is also really good. I've tried a lot of times to get those kinds of sounds. Really hard to nail but you got it just right on this one. The only thing I could think to maybe adjust is the kick's low end frequency. I love it's punchy sound, but at a higher volume it takes over a bit. Other than that this is a solid track. Cheer's :D
totally appreciate the review - ...mastering is something I need to learn I wasn't too happy about the kisck but have made some chages to lower it a tad....sounds better but I'm losing something when I convert the .wav file to mp3....
Lovin this alot. This is why I make loops! Whole track is awesome. I gotta say the drums and bass come through excellent. I feel the drums more, they have a sweet vibe. The change ups and hats and fills. Then the Bass compliments that smoothly. Makes my day bruh! Thanks for letting me know and cheers for a making an awesome track.
I listened to this after seeing Nomad's post in the forums and was blown away by the song(s) as a whole. The title alone makes me wonder. In the context of the track I to get a political vibe. Not a menacing form of dissent, more of a frustration or bleak view. Sonically the whole track is great. The rapid percs mixed with that heavy kick create a cool rush feel. Makes for some great imagery. I'm wondering what that low end sound is. Didgeridoo or a bull roarer. Very unique sound though. Cheer's on a great track and collaboration :D
N0mad23 supplied the yes... bull roarer and it fit really nicely. And honestly, the sound I was looking for took me in this direction and kinda by surprise. Thanks for the ear.
I don't think I've ever double reviewed. While I was away(no net and bills coming down!)I thought I had this in my music collection. I didn't and it sucked. I knew it was faved but never had enough time to visit a hotspot to come check it out again. Even after dumping some more loops after getting things strait I forgot to come hear this. Many thanks for keeping it up and for download. Cheers man and thanks :D
You're the best. Hope all is going well, bud! Speaking of hot spots, that reminds me of an AT&T commercial where a couple goes "hot spot hopping". It's pretty funny. peace
Now this is some sick fusion here man. Jazzy and funky. I love that bass. I wish I could get bass sounds like that. The sax was killer too. It all blends so good. The lesbian I can't relate too. I've seen some really butch lezzies but where I'm at, they are about 8 out of 10, the hottest girls around. It sucks, but doesn't suck lol. I'd quit making music if I could convert just one, but I think I would only be making more girls turn lol. Cheers man, and faved this sweetness up.
LOL> Thanks man. Hilarious. I guess keep turning out the music instead.lol Hey, send me a link or something so I can check out your remixes you told me about. thanks again for the listening to and for the fav! peace, your friend, Rick.
It's like black/death metal industrial. Love the scream vocal fx. What catches me real quick is that high pitched synth. It's a real hollow distorted tone that cut's through the mix nicely. Add's to the dark sound and raises the high end well. Blast beats are also a welcomed change. I mean, who doesn't want some blast beats for a track called 'Lord Baphomet'. Cheers :D
This is good. I love distortion. The louder the better I say. Only thing I can recommend is to thicken up the kick a bit. It comes through the mix well, but lacks that low end thump. Love the snare alot. Sounds alot like the Virus snare. Personal fave of mine. Cheers :D
thank you very much and yeah i worked real hard for that snare its not virus its actually one from ableton live with sooooooooooooooooo much compression on it
Do great sounding tracks scare off reviewers? WTF! This is tight man. It's got that kick I like. Noticed some chip sounding perc also. Love that stuff. Video games and their music are always up my alley. I don't know the reference to this one though. I got an Idea but I can't remember for sure. Iron sword? Anyway lol, track is great. Love the way everything gets its space. The panning stuff never collides and kick doesn't drown anything out. Love the guiro perc also. That stuttering synth that runs here and there gives some depth to it nicely. Gotta fave this baby up! Cheer's man for the tune :D
Hey thank you so much for reviewing my tracks. You are totally right about the sonic reference and the Cloud World Reference comes from Super Mario Bros 3 for nintendo, where you climb the castle into the sky. Regardless on that though =), i'm taking everything you said into consideration and i'll probably be adding some more stuff to round out the tracks. Thank you once again for reviewing and being a great looperman member!
Sonic and his Chaos Emeralds! Don't know if that's what the reference is to, but I love that little hedgehog lol. Tracks got some great sounds in it. Love the panning of that bell sounding thing. Gives it some trippy atmosphere. I think the kick could use just a little more push. Might wanna add another to thicken it up. Not too much that it would need some side chaining, but just to give it some oomph. Still a great track. Gonna check out another, Cheers :D
I think the pella is in dutch? Doesn't matter it fits really well. It's catchy real quick too. That little piano that comes in and out is crazy with the vibe. Locks me into the song with it. Again I love the drums. I suck at drums lol, so that's why I love to hear drums have change ups and a shuffle rhythm. Cheer's man :D
This is awesome. Love the drums man. Makes the track way more live feeling than a programmed or backing drum track. Keep up the great work, and thanks for contacting me to check it out. Cheers :D
Vinyl? What the hell is vinyl? It's that sound that cdj's mimic horribly! I was gonna buy a Serato set up once. Heard it and bounced out of that mess. I wanted to dabble with being a dj since I was little. It was because of the movie Juice. Tupac, Omar Epps flick that has a Dj battle in it. Looked way more technical than plucking strings on a guitar. Back to the track. Was waiting to hear some of your Dj work man. Not disappointed at all. I miss the sound alot. Gravy needs mash potatoes, Hip Hop needs Dj's. Cheers :D
The best thing about vinyl, other than it's rich warm sound, is it's no latency. It's a pure extension between your mind, soul, hands, and equipment. Juice is still a classic. When I first saw it, I was like man he can really scratch! Then years later when I saw it again, I realized it was edited in. haha I was heart broken and proud at the same time...You know I have some old dj partners who play guitar and swear it's a whole lot like scratching. I can hear it sometimes. Well, thanks so much for your review. i'm glad U had a chance to hear it, i was hopin u would.. hummm, graaavy. peace my friend :)
This is mad as hell. Don't know where its gonna be when it's finished but damn its already bumpin. Tag this track man, can't let peeps run off with this. Cheers :D
Haha, thanks a lot, man! Im still working on it but im a bit stuck at the moment. So ill leave it until i feel like im really inspired and motivated to continue. Will let you know asap when its done!
This more my pace. From the get go, the drums. Deep pumping but they don't cause drop out and everything come through sick. Don't know if its side chained but it's something I gotta learn(5 years and I still try to avoid low subby kicks lol). Vocals fit like a glove. Builds up and you just know its about to go off lol. Also the bass and kick seem to play of each other really good. Deep groove! Synths add the icing. I always avoid house tracks but I'm starting to think I've been f'in up lol. Cheers :D
Thanks for the review and I'm glad I was able to bring you over to "this side of the HOUSE." :) I did and always side chain the drums if they are at all heavy and/or a primary part of the song. I find I avoid the dreaded muddiness or as I call it drowning. Depending on brands, House and Industrial can be similar. Actually, at some bar/clubz I've spun the two 2gether with a side of new order, Nitzer Ebb, and front 242, acid. oooo -what a tasty time that is. I'm sweatin just thinkin about it. Who knows, maybe some MCHN too!!
THANKS FOR THE FAV MY FRIEND..peace
Short but awesomely sweet. Love the feel of the isolated piano that moves into the big stings and pads. Makes for an almost roller coaster effect. This is light years ahead of my very first track I composed myself. Cheers :D
Killed it bruh! Everything's tight on this. Loving the other strings on this. That organ or harmonium is crazy as hell. Can never go wrong with a hard sub kick. Awesome man. Keep it up, Cheers :D
Man this is great. Really awesome dual harmonies. I like depressing s**t. Life can't always be sunshine and rainbows you know lol. At least not without chemicals of some sort. Without darkness I wouldn't have much to look forward too lol. Back to the track, it's great. Yea Piano has some of the best piano sounds here(no pun intended). I also like the vocals kinda offset like that. With the technology at our hands everything gets so quantized and pitch corrected and put into form etc... Kinda leaves out the raw emotion of music. It's good to hear a change. Cheers :D
Hey thanks alot man. Yeah, without the vocals, it could have a possibility to be a normal and maybe pretty good hip hop song. But I was going for the offset vocal thing at the time. That's because at that time, I WAS feeling offset. ;) Thanks for listening, understanding, AND reviewing. I just noticed the FAV. That's real cool, thanks again.:)
