Really reminded me of Dr. Who for some reason. Old Who, not much for the new stuff. Really tripped out vibe here. Brings back memories of sugar cubes lol. Loved the clarity of the delays, and the panning on them as well. Really great piece here. Cheers to the both of you :)
Hehe..thanks mate..it's a pity Mr Robot rarely makes an appearance on the site these days,he's one trippy dude and an awesome musician, unfortunately he's got his hands full looking after his kids by himself now..but hopefully he shall return...again thank you for the cool review...cheers Dave :)
Man.. This is why I love DnB. Gritty, dark, and the atmosphere. This track just captures that vibe perfectly. If I could make a DnB track like this... I would make a hat telling everyone 'I made this track' lol. Love it man. I got that reece stuck in my head. Made my night for sure. Cheers :D
Wow, thanks for the kind words man. I'm just doing what I love to do... make heavy beats with a sick drop!
Wait for my up-n-coming latest track man, I think you'll like it!

I started listening on a low volume. Then that sub made me wish it wasn't so late to blast it up. Sick sick tune. Love the flanged drums. No d/l so I'll have to fav and come back to blast it. Cheers :D
Yeah man, probably later on when I'm a little better I'll put this out for download... as some people here already know, I did that for a bunch of my music way back.
I'll hit one of your tunes up man!

I like this. Don't know if it's industrial. Still good though. Very good combination of sounds here. The middle synth around 1:04 reminded me of some Daft Punk(ish) sounds. Loved that gritty arp type saw bass. Mixed well with the stings and the synth. Then that little acoustic and synth outro made me listen again. Very catchy. Keep it up, Cheers :D
Was listening and thinking I heard this before lol. It needs some work. Nothing too much though. The intro synth is kinda getting pushed down by the drums. Could side chain it or try to eq it out of the drums frequency. Does give it a cool push though. Loved the gabber drums. Gives it a ebm feel. Also that break that come in here and there was great. Sounds like its gonna be a monster. Cheers :D
Hey :) Thanks for the review, glad you enjoyed the track, it was a work in progress and still needed a lot doing unfortunately my laptop decided to go boom before I got a chance to back it up so now the bare bones are lost forever unless I can figure out how to make it again....
This track is an oddity. Not in a bad way lol. Everything in the description is there. Jungle/DnB, Dubstep, half time hip hop beats. Really cool combination. Cheers :D
Can't say I'm a huge fan of grime, but the combo here fits real well. Love that sub on the track alot. Kept me nodding to it lol. Real clean with the strings but gets nice and dirty with the more electronic parts. Makes me wanna here more like this. Cheers :)
you know personally i
never really listened to
grime that much either
until i listened to ChrissG's
stuff. he def' brought the two
mixes of clean and dirty to
perfection on this track
Chill track. Drums give it a hip hop vibe to it. Seriously, all I could imagine was being under water. Like when the light makes all types of colors looking up at the sun. Really good stuff. Cheers :D
Tracks sick. I'd already heard MistaMista on a diff collab between you guys, but Big Reeg was on point. Hadn't heard dude so I didn't know much. Gonna check him out. Always great stuff with you Coney, and don't worry about not making it in the "biz", I hear its filled with assholes lol. Cheers :D
Thanks for the kind words man! Glad you dig the track! Big Reeg has nothing but good tracks def check out his page! Yeah forget the "biz" I heard it was full of assholes too LOL!
I had listened to this track a long time ago. Didn't review then, just spaced out to it. Then I came across a video of Messian Dread doing a in studio jam. The name was very familiar but couldn't remember from where. Now it all comes back. This one awesome tune. The bass and perc's just make it real chill. The keys sound kinda like a clavinet but have a real good vibe. Those verb and delayed keys are a beautiful touch of music and engineering. Just hit at the right time and expand out naturally. Can't say much more to convey how great this sounds. Cheers for this great tune. :)
This is really good. Cinematic indeed. Lots of delicate nuances that add to the ambiance. Really love the vocal touches. Reverb placement is great. Expands the mix well. Sad, haunting, but with light still shining. Cheers :)
Real chill. Bass kinda rises a bit in some spots but didn't bother me. Wobbles sounded good, not to fast and paced right at good times. Could add some reverb on the drums a bit. Maybe automate it to give a big boom every now and then. Just a thought. Cheers :)
First off, sick tune. I can't really put into text how much I loved this. It's quite an amalgam of music. To me it's not easy to compare anything else to it. Only thing that comes to mind is Unkle. The way the samples just click give it a rawer sound. More emotive and dynamic. The drums pump as the lyrics become more aggressive and adds to the tune so much. This IS hip-hop. Thanks and Cheers :D
Listened to it a few times. Killer track man. I was gonna say that maybe the bass during the verses could be higher, but changed my mind. It has a cool effect that way. To me at least. I hear things differently sometimes. Also love the loop being chopped up. Made it a hundred percent better. The rise up to the chorus was awesome. Not much else I can add. Hopefully get some stuff to you soon. Cheers :)
The bass is a bit off so I turned it down for now. Gonna have to go back and fix it but i thought id leave it and listen to the track with fresh ears in a couple of days. Glad you liked it, dude!
Yee, just send me an e-mail or a message here on the loop! Stay cool!
The end. Not entirely as you have alluded. Binary Necrosis! Definitely captures a form of decaying circuit with the heart beat type drum in the end. All these songs in the series were well thought out. Very reminiscent of early industrial music with its progressive ideas. Hope to hear another series from you. You should check out Josh Mobley's 'Drone Factory vol 1-2' or a refill called 'Drone Structures'. Both have pads/drones that I'm sure you can make something very great with. Thanks for making my night(it's actually 3:14am) better. Cheers :)
Really appreciate all your comments. Thanks a lot! I will certainly come back to this series as I like it a lot, but right now I want to make something lighter. I kinda need to change styles to reload my inspiration :-p
I have the 'drone structures' refill, but I will check the other one, this is really the kind of sounds I like to work with, thanks for the tips!!
I'm glad I made your night better! Peace!
This one sounds more delicate to me. More emotion going on. As Spivkurl mentioned, robots making love. Sounds about right lol. Loving the drone/pad's going on. Those glitchy mechanical sounds are also icing to this cake. Off for round 3 :)
My kinda sound. It's really interesting to hear pieces like this. Give the mind the camera to make the movie. I work on stuff like this but never fully see it through, so I know the amount of time put into these tracks. There's a warmth to this also, sonically. Like analog. Very good. Off to listen to part 2. Cheers :)
This track sounds great. Just mixed very good. With so much going on everything comes through in the mix so good. Loved the horn stabs and the perc all in it. There's also like these very ambient synth touches that bounce in and out. They make you focus on them and they draw you into this beautiful audio texture(don't know if that makes sense lol). Then the very ambient vocal textures just blend it all together. Choice tune :) Cheers.
Thanks for the insightful review ... Yeah I have been working on my mixing and mastering latey trying to get a really smooth blend of sounds mostly done through fading the tracks... This song has my vocals and two other looperman artists so I though it came out pretty nicely... Thanks for the Review...
I actually listened to this alot more than the site tells. It's the first time someone actually linked me a track that used a loop of mine(that I remember lol). Thanks for that :) It has the same vibe I had on the track that the loop comes from. But, you definitely used it better. The break at 1:12 and then that real raw drum loop was awesome. That was in my mind genius. I'm actually a big fan of RhymeSayers and Slug(of Atmosphere), so that was kinda weird that that linked to you also in that way. Loved it, and very pleased something really good comes of my loops here. Cheers :D
This tune had a big change up feel. I could see two dj's going at it live firing off samples and scratching crazy. Never heard of Wave Traveler but sounded pretty close to how cdj scratches sound. Sounded pretty good. Cheers :)
I just kept envisioning a bunch of goth kids in a waffle house while listening. Not too many songs about waffles around(first one I've heard lol), but sounded great. Cheers :)
