This really fits the combat atmosphere within the cinematic genre (also aplicable for video games). The massive sound shakes the bones! Masterfully done, as always !:) Keep them coming!
games like "god of war" has fantastic inspirations for this kind of sound.
I am very happy that you enjoyed, and for all the support again.
your words are very well received my friend

God,...I love your rock style ! I hardly describe it with words, but there's always something basic and primal, yet very sublime and dignifying in your sound and this one is no exception!
I have no idea what was this track doing in the drawer for 7 months !? It deserved to be published immediately! It's a powerful industrial punch with enough changes and dynamics to keep it interesting. This one is 'fav' for sure !:)
Hey Orlando, cheers for the really positive response! Yeah I wasn't sure rather I wanted to add more to this piece or not. That's why I kept it drawer for awhile. Really appreciate the comments and thanks for listening and favoring this piece! ^___^
Thanks, you three, for your interest and positive comments. I believe danielgtrman's work is acoustic, and so is mine. I edit for consistency and timing but every note is live. Playing an instrument to solid tracks is an education in itself, and I depend on the generosity of the folks here on Looperman. What a great site this is!
Funk/jazz style always hooks me one or another way. This time we hear more eclectic mixture which is nice. Instruments are well balanced and what I particulary like about the vocals is the Italian accent...haha...Buon lavoro ragazzi!
Glad you like it and took time to comment. I agree, I like the accent. Actually, Franco had a very small vocal part when he sent the track to me and I encouraged him to do more so I wrote a few lines for him and when he sent it back there was the cool Italian rap which I really dug. I hope to do more of this in the future.
Yeah - it just keeps on moving. Maybe even a bit too much. However, there's actually a lot of repetition of basslines but they get covered up by all the other crazy changes and the strange guitar layers.
This is one of my shorter epics. It sort of feels a bit short and you could argue that I should make some sections longer. But I wanted it to be a very powerful blast that never really lets up - just gives the listener a break from time to time. I did have more of a chillout, comedown ending but got rid of that.
And no, I can't remember how to play most of the guitar parts here. Some are really chopped up and pieced back together - others are complete whole riffs. Some I played a few years ago as this used to be a 17 min track but I split it in two.
The other half is here and contains grunge, blues, rock and hip hop, all as a psychedelic long form, eastern journey:
This is an interesting mixture of styles and it's pretty catchy. Reggae was the first thing that came to my mind, but ofcourse it's much more than that. There are even some eastern influences coming in at around 1:48. Vocals are nice here...who is singing?
You've made a good decision to share this on LM....it's a very welcoming addition to your Looperman collection!:)
Waiting for the next one...^^
Gosh you are so right with the mixture, I had originally set out to do a fun hip hop track, but then got carried away with various styles and only stopped short of putting the kitchen sink in!! Glad you like though and always look forward to your comments. The vocals were a Magix sample but haven't been able to find out who they belong to, I will though because they have a fabulous voice.
The intro on this one (which continues underneath throughout)reminds me on mainstream 70's movies. Besides that, the nice flow makes this track a winner. Congrats!
