Great keys....big,full,lush...this track's got great continuity and doesn't stray from your job description one iota.....that's what I love about it...truly professional...a lot of people would have lost the plot and got side tracked into just doing something with the sounds and getting indulgent..this is really focused and tight..and frankly is a lot better than many huge budget intros I've heard....great stuff Ron....cheers planet :)

Thanks Planet.
Your kindness and encouragement is greatly appreciated. It's hard to describe in words what this Looperman community has done for me. I thinks creative freedom should be adopted as the community motto. Thanks bro.

Krook,
So happy you like the Dylan tribute. I was so inspired after viewing the Martin Scorsese documentary "No Direction Home: Bob Dylan". It's special and very worth tracking down if you have not seen it. I just had to create a sincere expression in the style of Bob Dylan after experiencing this beautiful film. Thank you for sharing such kindness. Much appreciated. Voltage

Frank is smiling with the playing of this tune. I lost count of my Zappa discs. My favorite 'Mothers' album is the "Live at the Filmore" disc. I can almost hear Dynamo Hum on this one. Careful you don't get a dose of Chunga's Revenge. lol...mokeone

Great tune bro.Its got a lot of goodwill and love flowing thru...the harp is so COOOL ! Don't tell me you play harmonica aswell ? !!! Anyway, I listened to some of your other stuff and you sure do have some serious chops mate.
Loved it,thanks for sharing.Peace and Goodwill bro.

Geo,
Thank you so much for the kind review. Yes I am playing the harmonica for what it's worth. I use it to make Dylan noises during my solo acoustic set. Funny how just a couple notes on that funny little instrument can set a mood. This song actually started out as a spoof, a joke, but after I got into it I realized, what's so funny about peace, love and understanding? The lyric took many weeks to reveal itself and I struggled with it only to once again realize, that's what it's all about. Thank you for understanding Geo. I am grateful, humbled, inspired.

Thank you so much. This might seem to be cut and dried simple, but it took me quite awhile to make happen. I am encouraged to find other musicians who seem to understand that it is the spirit of a song that makes it what it is. I am inspired by your kindness. Thanks Rashid.

Hey Sky...this is fantastic! Talk about out dylaning Dylan..it's all there encapsulated in this song..hell you could make heaps impersonating Bob,it's that good!.....He's always been one of my favourite performers all the way through..you'll have to go on and do "Music from Big Voltage" next......done with flair and panache..super enjoyable...cheers planet :)

Planet,
You know I figured you would be one of those people who would appreciate this expression for what it is. It seems to me that our music has diminished in importance in many ways over the years. It used to be so powerful. I have hope that this hidden power will once again emerge from the thick layers of over saturation to move mountains. Thanks for getting it Planet. There is hope after all.

Randall,
Thanks for the kind comment. You may have heard the expression, it's not how fast you play, it's what you play that counts. I think it's just the fact that you create that counts. Be creative, express yourself, you are a musician...and that counts for bonus points in my book.

Thanks. This is fun stuff and besides, Barry did most of the work...I just plugged in and made loud noises for a few minutes. Scared the hell out of my cats and the neighbor lady was yelling something but I couldn't hear her over the shred....Totally Joe's Garage.

Hey MrV...A trip down memory lane...Being an absolute Zappa disciple I can feel the vibes of the early 'Mothers' in this one...the bass is great! everyone's scrambling to keep up with you!...super late 60's vibe, all it needs is a Zapparist voice over discussing vacuum cleaners and their part in the sexual revolution!.....cheers planet :)

Gizzard,
Thanks again.
You are too kind. I saw that you had asked for some mixing technique suggestions, applications and so forth awhile a go. I will hook up with you in this regard soon. I can tell you now that my process is totally by trial and error. I do have some things I almost always go to, but for the most part, I just keep trying stuff till it comes together (or not...). There is a ton of trash on the cutting room floor that will never see the light of day, but I learn from each attempt. After all these years, I am still simply digging in and trying whatever options, available tools and experiments I can conjure. Persistence is my process. Stay with it bro. Thanks for the inspirado....

But I like that, makes me kind of sit up in my seat.

and this summed it up.

Great bass sound. Real good drums.

It all almost sounded live. (minus the obvious mixing. which was awesome)

Somehow, frank zappa with a marshall stack came to mind.

WOW. I must learn from you.

Whenever I see a track by you, I am gonna give an honest listen.

Any review or comments that include my work with a mention of Frank Zappa is very humbling to me. I have so much respect for Frank I can not convey it in words. I don't know what I can say to thank you enough, so I'll just shut up and play my guitar. Thank you.
