Very mellow, I really enjoyed listening to it. Amelia has got an amazing voice... The rhodes sound just right.
Now you've got me wanting to listen to the finish piece...
Excellent work guys.
Cheers S.
Fantastic sound!..wow Robert!..wow!...what a great mix...fanfreakingtastic vocals........that is one of the best sounding fretlesses..deep and clear.....Ha!..I like the way you paraphrase your description..(no weird jazz solos or confusing parts)Damn!..their my favourite parts!.....I vote we lock down the genre pool to just jazz for a month and re-educate the Looperman community...(and close all the doors and windows so nobody can get out!).......tips me lid on this one...cheers planet
thanks David, for me you´re one of the most distinctive listeners.....always respecting style and genre of musicians and that´s your personal quality ........and also having posted lots of beautiful and excellent work with all your tracks you´re interested in tunes of every single member and always give very constructive comments to anybody of this community.......glad that you´re in here......thanks and take care,Robert
I've also done this acapella....but not like this!...talk about taking things to another level...sheesh!....You really do know what your doing.....I think I've said this before..every one of your tracks is a learning experience....the notes are so..poised,like a dancer, there's that exuberance of motion and style.........great work!....awesome technique.....cheers planet
on my point of view, this is a great song man, very clean jazz everything is perfect but the catch22 rap part on it, i dont think it fits on jazz man, but its only my humild opinion
the song is fucking great piece

WOW! This is a really funky beat! 11/8 is sounding pretty wicked. I'm not much of a music theorist, and I can't say I could ever legitimately compose something with that (technical word for what 11/8 is called), but man, it's certainly different. Normally I don't go for the the funky like this, but this is certainly a high-quality exception!
Pizzi (I think) at the intro of this. The Synth lead keys on this are pretty decent too. And I have absolutely no idea whether you are playing any instruments or just if ya just did this with loops, but I swear, those drums sound real! It's almost like I could see a band playin this on some dimly lit stage somewhere. With touches or swirling smoke here and there. Accentuated by what little light there is. Choice stuff there, man. Later on!
i see that i´v to update the profile info....to answer your question,no loop use but lots midi recordings and all arranged in logic platinum with some wave adds .....the band members consists of me playing mainly all sorts of basses, guitars and keyboards, one piano player who is mostly absent, drummer, trumpet, sax, female singers also mostly gigging on tours or absent and a recording engineer .......you´ll find some live tracks in this profile where the musicians have been listed
thx for listening and reviewing
cheers,Rob
What a great track!..good for anything that involves fun....not one scintilla of bad vibes anywhere.....a fantastic distillation of smooth swinging bass and flying keyboards over an upbeat drum and percussion line.....magic!...you've outdone yourself Robert....cheers planet
Dave Brubeck would be so proud hearing you make the 5/4 beat sound so natural and amazing! Tight interplay and sweet, sweet melodies from all the instruments. Really brilliant. Downloaded and favoritized. Peace and Love, Six
Wanted to see what your first (or earliest of what you have now) track sounded like. And it is pretty much exactly what I expected. Unusual rhythms, tight playing and great production. You have a sound that is very much your own. When I hear your music I feel like it is easily identifiable. Not a common trait. Peace and Love, Six
I love the mix between slow and frantic sounds here. If you close your eyes, you can imagine yourself trying to smuggle dope out of the Golden Triangle.
Right in the zone!...that bass playing is right on the sweet spot...very bubbly and effusive..this track has something in common with Art Nouveau in that in 100 years time it still will be vibrant and artistically relevant..........love that marimba like percussion.....cheers planet
what the hell is that at about 1:20, some spacey synth/keys, let me know, this is a an ill gutta type track with that strong bass rythym, this definately works for me....nice
thx for your comment....to answer your question at 1:20 it´s a synth recorded in logic and mixed with internal evoc filterbank......i´ve uploaded about 50 or 60 of these sound loops under my profile....look at synth loops genre electronic, ambient, cinematic or maybe industrial....if you can´t find it,let me know, then i can send you the original, cheers PC
