hey Dave,i totally agree with bilbozo.....experimental,fusion,acid jazz track with cool improvised bass lines and great pads in the background ......now i have to listen to Elaine´s original to get an impression of the basics and how you changed it to this fine result......very good job
cheers,Rob
Thanks Rob..the improvisational side of playing has always attracted me..though I need to sit down and study bebop scales for 10 years to free up my old habits and reactions!...cheers Dave :)
the 2nd track i´v listened to and it´s much better than the first one....not because of the guitar loop...hahaha,but it´s the atmosphere that i like, cheers PC
great blend of styles
i did a lot of collaboration with Mr.Robot and our loops will always fit to each other .......mostly
a good work and combination of sounds, cheers,PC
i like the way you start tracking......taking time and developing the whole thing......again good synth treatments and compact beat structure with good change, cheers PC
Thanks man, I believe I have to thank you many times - this song was one of quite a few I made as a kinda soundtrack project, which I ended up using many of your loops...at least now that I look back and sift through your loop library. You have so many that fit my taste. lol. Props!!!! Just want to say thanks, a late thanks. Thanks for the kind words. peace.
it´s a good intro and excellent continuing synth sounds.....
i like the whole structure with the groove stops and changing sounds........by the way the words are spoken by Mila (Mr.Robot´s wife) and she speaks Czech
cheers PC
hi Bri
i´m a fan of experimental sounds and this was the 1st of your tracks that i´v listened to and i´m very impressed.......so i think i´v to check out more of your tunes....
see you PC
congrats, with the underlined strings you´re really the first one who used my piano loop in the right key with the original chord progression, well done cheers PC
the choice of pentatonic scales in major key gives this track a lot of positive vibrations from the beginning till the end......this could be one of Bob Dylan´s early compositions but it also has bit of Crosby,Stills,Nash and Young flavor although you did not use any vocals or lyrics.......reminds me of the early 70s and the legendary woodstock events when soldiers came back from war in Vietnam like it was in the Forrest Gump movie.....one of my always favs, cheers rob
Thanks for listening Rob...I wish I could sing like the people you have mentioned...I'm not tone deaf but when I open my mouth what comes out is not very harmonious or pleasant, reincarnation is my only hope I fear...cheers Dave :)
i´m really a fan of excessive freestyle guitar sounds.....mixed with natural drums.....a great art to let it sound like a live jam session in this digital age where nearly every byte is kept clean and treated with noise reduction, filters etc...i like the human touch in all your tracks that gives the back the feel to listen to music made by musicians and not by machines, cheers robert
good synths sounds, especially the arpeggio at 1.25min......
a really trancy track composition with more dynamics than most of the other compositions published in that genre....cheers,PC
so it means you had a complete partiture in midi data ?
sounds like you did it with a good sampler which has a lot of natural orchestral samples........that´s funny cause i also just have finished some piano pieces by Erik Satie and did an instrumentation and arrangement for ensemble....cheers,PC
I am using Logic Studio which has a GREAT sampler. It is all cut and paste and pencil in MIDI tones for different parts and such. Lot of fun, a bit tedious at times, but the end results are definitely worth it right? Can't wait to hear the stuff that you have worked up recently. Thanks as always for listening and taking the time to comment. Peace, Six
brilliant track, smooth guitars and very chill.....
when i´d listened to the end i thought ....
oh my god, what a cinematic tragedy and i hope he did not crash his brand new Mercedes Benz....hope you´re still alive...
take good care,PC
It's a 76 Dodge challenger with a 6 pack.LOL I think muscle car. Hey but it could be a mercedes. And it's totalled.Dan, ADD188, did a great job with the music. When he sent it to me I had to write something new for it. I had a lot of fun doing this one. Thanks for listening and I'm glad you liked it. I hope do do some more stuff like that.
as i told you before i liked the first version of this track
but now with Steve on the sax it has new a great natural flavor
the last human being is fighting against the all mighty terminators
.......excellent performance and inserts,fits perfect
respect,PC
you always give your tracks multiple variations, never boring always continuing in an unexpected way with lots of ideas.....a good quality.... even when it sounds repetitive the change will come sooner or later.....
cheers,PC
sorry David found this track very late.....and now had a listen to it
a real beautiful punk live atmosphere, very powerful and expressive....pogo flavor in a club, screaming and diving into the audience like it was in the 80s......don´t know,if you had this in mind, but this sort of dirty stuff brings back a lot of memories......nearly forgotten but still alive...
regards,robert
Haha...yeah Rob the funny thing about punk music is I quite like it..went to a few shows in London in the 70's and I always was amazed at the audience's complete disregard for the actual quality or content of the material that they were listening to...it didn't seem to matter, just being there and jumping up and down in drunken oblivion was the thing...Pretty good from the bands perspective..you could be totally off your face, play anything at all and still get a standing ovation....If only it were that simple!...cheers dave.
