much emotions in that vocals man ... very very smooth and gentle!!! brilliant ...
the horns are very interesting, love the harmonies ...
and the percussion in the background is perfect, it's essential for the song, perfect!!

Hey mate that slide playing's coming on, your a quick study....I love this slower tempo..it gives everything a rich,full quality..dappled sunlight through the trees.....the vocals sound super!....with some great articulation in the phrases........it's a pity about the track length constraints on looperman...this piece could handle a lengthy bridge..beautiful song!....cheers planet

nice slow jam mate, wow man, got some wicked talent as always. Who sings this?
Like the shaker/tamb, gives it nice chill atmosphere
the horns in the beginning kinda have like a live band feel

This is a cool song Slap, love the slide guitar and horn section on this. Yeah, it certainly has a dreamy feel to it, very mellow. Look forward to hearing some more tracks from the album. Watts

Hi Rob, thanks for the kind words. I just love the rubato feel, playing free! The only problem was I had to judge the gaps i'd left when I recorded the guitar first when it came to the sax track, but I think I managed. Cheers Slap...

I just retyped variations of sentences several times over while listening to this track so that my review wouldn't sound like blubbering rubbish but hot diggedy mother licker, that was a magical display of saxophone virtuosity on your part, Slap. This is the best thing I've heard since "you're never gonna see me again, do anything you want to me".

Hi Randy, thanks for dropping by and casting those trained ears on my first slide attempt. I'm working on a few more songs which feature the slide in open tuning, it's such a great sound. I'm practising as much as time will allow and have been bought a book by a friend, this covers all about the great blues players and thier techniques. Slap you are a stud musician. This track sounds great! Well produced, expertly played all the elements are in place. And there is an element of American-ness to it that is unexpected from a someone in her majesty's kingdom. =) A lot of people are feeling some impact and learning from what you do and that can not ever be discounted in value.

American culture has influenced generations and will keep on doing so.
