Haha..what i wrote came out bad!..i'm not getting married quite yet!haha..i'm only 18!..but one day (mark my words!lol)..when i do wanna settle down..i'll contact u..keep up the good work..aall the best..peace
Now then Geordie! How it going at your end up in the toon? Thanks for listening and taking the time to review this track.. Soprano sax just gets right in your soul! It's a great instrument, but a complete bastard to keep in tune. I hope things are good with you buddy.. Cheers Slap...
Excuse my french..but that was fu*k*ing amazing!!!!!!!!!...totally blew me away..i want you at my wedding!haha..god's musical gift to earth=slap..peace
I guess when it comes down to it,the fundamentals apply in the creative process...Conceptualise-Act upon it.Is it the clear first thought that crystallizes or the unembellished execution of that thought?...whatever the case may be the result is the same....an amount of soul has been transferred from the artist to his work....not an easy task that can be duplicated every time....these are the special moments.......you have quite a few in your tracks....but ones like this stand out for me.....sparse,distant yet intimate,no hangups or issues just plain simple music from the soul.
Hi Dave, wow what a review and analysis of a track, I know what you mean though. Sometimes the best songs
are the ones that have no boundaries, there free and expressive and allowed to breath and develop naturally, "keep it simple stupid" seems to spring to mind, or am I barking up the wrong tree! I'm confused now, Crap!!! Maybe I should go and write another song, my head hurts.. Cheers Slap...
That's 30 minutes well spent Mr Slap!
Very chill track, the instruments complete each other. I really like it when you hold that note around 2.05. Soothing...
Well done mate.
Cheers S.
Hi Soulful, I hear you've been helping one of my sax pupils Henster out with some ableton issues, thanks for that buddy, Hensters a cool guy. Thanks for the kind words about the track, cheers Slap...
wow what a perfect way to start my morning! i love this one! everything is great! almost like waking up from a good dream and thinking about it and being happy the rest of the day...=^)
Cool rocking..being an old rocker this is like coming home for me.....didn't we all grow up on this stuff!,,,great guitar by the way!...Oh yeah mate..you mentioned some more material you had..by all means send it over the ocean into my mailbox and I'll see what I can do...I'm going to have to return the favour soon as I've just got the glimmer of a project in the back of my brain..it's only coalesced into a few bars so far..but we shall see....again great track Steve...it's got me buggered how you can explain to your other half....."Oh sorry Luv..won't be home for tea...got to go practice with the girls."...you must be a magician is all I can say!
Great laid back groove. I like the melodic motif you have developed here. And of course the bass sounds rich and wonderful. Fantastic team up. Peace, Six
Hi six, thanks for taking the time to stop by and leave such positive comments. If you need more stuff from me for our pending collaboration, just give me a nudge, cheers Slap...

Hi Slap,
Great sounding 'Horns', and the Bass was very good as well. Sounds like a tune for a movie or something like that. Very smooth and a great job well done by you both.
Randy
Wow man!...you walking Orchestra you....lets count em, 1.Soprano Sax 2.Clarinet 3.Guitar 4.Baritone Sax 5.Flute...all played beautifully.....I've met multi instrumentalist's before but usually they play one instrument well and dabble in the rest....When talent was being handed out you got enough for 5 people....I am constantly floored by what you do........saying it was a privilege playing with you is an understatement.......cheers planet(one of your many fans here at looperman)
Hi Dave, and thank you for playing on this one. I have some other stuff which you could play on if you want! If yes I will bounce it ovewr to you in Oz. Cheers Slap... (your mate and fan)!
