This is possibly the best track I've heard in a long while. A long, long while. It's sweet and so defining. The sax is kicking much ass, but those vocals took my breath away. I could listen to this voice in my earhole, right out the headphones all day long. Blasting. Yeah, it's that good. I felt like I was at an outdoor concert in a huge park standing shoulder to shoulder with thousands of other lovers of great music and everyone was speechless. Just feeling the vibe, entranced by the voice and loving the whole experience. Yeah, I downloaded this and will listen again and again. Thanks for this wondrous track, Slap! Peace!
just saw this on the featured tracks section and had to have a listen.. truly wonderful song. the feeling in the sax solo is incredible. Fiona has a an amazing voice. good to see you back after the summer break slap it wasnt the same around here ..mik
Alright mik! Nice to hear from you pal. I suppose things are slowing down for you now over in sunny spain. Thanks for the kind words about the track. I think we need to do another track together! Send me something. Cheers Slap...
Breathy parts kinda remind me of Bobby McFarrin and they add a really nice humanized edge to this.
It also has a retro poppy/dancey edge that I'm diggin. And the way ya had Catch comin out solo'd on the right was real nice, like reppin a porch stoop from 1991. Rawk on!
you just made a song quicker than i got the pizza i ordered...i don't know whether to pack it up now or...lol. you do it all, I have downloaded lot's of your sax loops and have been eagerly trying to find a way to use them. top notch and the highest respect to this song and your musical talent! Have a good one slap!
Hi Jezza, I will be doing your track tomorrow.. Thanks for the review! I don't watch much t.v, so I don't have a clue about this guy/lady lol.. Cheers Slap...
You know, the uncluttered feeling of this song is what makes it beautiful... in a world full of music that's always finding new and interesting ways to make beautiful noise, it's nice to take a breath and listen to something so sublimely simple. Gorgeous - nice to hear you again (and nice to be back :)) x
naw slap its just hooka! hahaha i have a couple of those pics tho! lol. man! i listened to this and went to bed , had great dreams and fell fast! no worries type of sleep!

How do you not clip while recording your sax?
Seriously, horns have sooo much midrange bass, how did you keep the integrity of your hi-end on this?
