Man..I was wondering how your old tunes stacked up against your recent stuff..how in the hell did I ever miss this track!..Bloody hell, this is great stuff Steve..you had it then, you've got it now...the only thing I'd say is lately your showing more bias towards your true calling which is Jazz...you play with confidence and style and never disappoint....fantastic singing I might add by Fiona....love it..cheers Dave :)

Been cruising the loop. I realized I never reviewed this. I didn't get to thank you my brother. Such beauty and emotion...you're playing always brings a smile to my face. My little 4 year old is doing collabs with me new on a half scale Fender guitar..patrially inspired by your relationship you have with your son Alex. 2 rare gifts...our children and our music. What can ever be better than that. Thank you Steve...just thinking of you tonight. You're a great man. - Bill

What a lovely track! The way the instruments enhance each other and cooperate is mindblowing. Caught myself nodding my head to the rythm here. When it comes to the song as a whole, I really think it tells a story about people who loves to play their instrument, and the perfection of this track reflects it. It really got me in a better mood. Thank you!

Funky. Love how you play that saxophone, and everything harmonizes real well. More recently I would have to say Naked City and Mr. Bungle have been getting me into jazz. used your loops quite frequently (though sometimes I slice em up) I'll let u know which ones.

Live jazz is one of the best things on earth, and if you were nearby, I would definitely go see you guys. Love the horns. Delicious! I don't know a lot about recording & mixing yet, but I agree that what you did worked pretty well. Would love to hear it with even more mics, though, so the different instruments could take up a different "space" in the finished recording (more panning). Please keep adding stuff of this caliber! Love it.

Ahh this is my favourite so far...what a great overall tone and dare I might say this particular tune really encompasses the dynamics of the original with all it's flair and verve....you can tell the bass player loves this one he's 'there'....If I walked into any jazz club in the world and this was going down,I'd be smiling big time...great drumming and terrific horns,I must however single out the keyboard player again he's great, this style sinks or swims on the piano!..probably one of the best endings I've heard for ages.. a dozen thumbs up...cheers :)

Hi Planet, I just love this band! Richard is an amazing talent on piano, he also plays the trumpet like Dizzy. Now that is also amazing to witness! I saw him play it at a live jam session in Durham City, he blew my mind on hammond organ, then picked up the trumpet and I shat myself...

Cheers Slap...

Listened to this whilst making a sandwich, and it seemed the perfect soundtrack. This is a really talented and well rounded quintet! I don't think I've heard the original, but this one sounds vintage and true to form! Excellent improv from all the members! This was a pleasure to hear! Faved for sure!
